This was such a good story of forbbiden love in the workplace. Hot steamy passion and very spicy scenes. The book went by very quickly because i was so into the storyline. This is a must read.

Dr Nathan Pierce and Dr Claire Newton are an HR horror nightmare. But they made for a super cute dirty bossy doctor couple. the plot may have been a little predictable. But the angst was mild and the funny flirty hospital romance was a great steamy summer read. 🚂 chugging along with my binge read of this author. This one is one of the top 2 so far. I get flack for the outrageously obvious titles oh well 🥹soapy xxx r rated escapes are the best. Better than 3hrs of Oppenheimer any day of the week

Claire’s life was all about succeeding in her career, but the continuous bickering between her and Nathan seemed to heighten her attraction towards him. The sparks between Claire and Nathan exploded after one of their bickering encounters, which led to them embarking on a secret sexual relationship, but Nathan’s fears caused him to put a stop to their budding romance.
However, Nathan’s actions caused problems for both of them, which led to him nearly losing his job, but it also made him realised he wanted to be in a relationship with Claire. Unfortunately, chaos ensued just after they got back together and their secret relationship was inadvertently revealed, but luckily the repercussions weren’t severe, which gave them the chance to get the great life they both deserved. I really enjoyed reading this thrilling heartfelt medical romance novel, with emotionally challenging moments and enough steam to power a locomotive. The story grabbed my attention from page one and held it until I read the final word. I am very happy to recommend this book.

This is the 12 story Forbidden Doctors Series, all standalone reads. In this one we have a 1st year intern Dr. Claire Newton who graduated at the top of her class with the ability to be years ahead of her peers. When a last minute residency comes available at Lenape General, NY just 2 days before her starting is an opportunity Claire jumps on to work with the top internist, Dr. Nathan Pierce. Claire is shocked when meeting this younger doctor with some greying in his hair but boy oh boy is his bedside manners and grumpiness a turnoff professionally but does Claire dream about him in the bedroom. These two go at it on their first interaction and Nathan struggles on how to rein her in and follow protocol. When lines get crossed they enter into dangerous situations putting them both at risk but the excitement and joy they both feel when being together is something neither wants to stop. When a misunderstanding and fear turn Claire’s world upside down, Nathan’s just as unhappy but afraid to go after Claire all they can have together! Claire is excited for her first day as a resident working with a doctor who is considered one of the top doctors in New York, Dr Nathan Pierce . Dr Pierce is very strict and stern and follows the rules. Claire is a brilliant dr but she is impulsive, stubborn and prone to act on gut reaction more than taking her time and ordering test to support her. This causes them to clash from the moment they meet. As much as Claire hates how he constantly tells her that as a first year resident she is not to treat the patients because she hasn’t passed her boards and it is against protocol, she can’t help but realize he is the domineering, hot, play dirty fantasy man she’s always said she wanted. One slip of the tongue by Claire when she was caught in her thoughts changes everything for these two who now can’t stop breaking the rules to act on their attraction. But breaking rules have consequences that just might ruin their careers and their personal relationship.

Dirty, Bossy Doctor by Sofia T Summers is filled with lust and lots of steam. A secret pregnancy when Claire is an intern for Nathan is so taboo. The story is also filled with angst, arguments, domination, heat, doubts, secrets, romance, love and so much more as told in alternating chapters by each of them.
They each always come out with guns blazing and their words and actions always get away from them. They say hurtful things, retreat then return to each other. There is a fairly good flow to the story but the heat wasn’t always needed. Their chemistry came through and when they learned to communicate the story took off. There is closure with the epilogue and a happily ever after in the offing but I wish the story went on just a little longer to see how their lives played out. I liked the pop of color on the cover.

Claire Newton is the new intern for Dr. Nathan Pierce. She calls him Dr. Bossy Pants. He is a stickler for protocol even though he finds Claire very intuitive and knowledgeable. They push each other’s buttons. They find each other attractive but Claire’s last boyfriend picked his career over her love and Nathan’s wife Bri died two years ago and he is still struggling with the loss.
The sparks flew between Claire and Nathan from page one throughout the story. I wasn’t sure how the story was going to end because it twisted and turned so much. Loved it.

I DNF'd this book at 39% on KU. Was not interested in these characters and the attitude of the main character was driving me nuts and the male main character was tolerable. It jumped right into the smut and i wish we got some character development at least before the smut began. But nothing... and I was just really over their dynamic of entitled student goes against doctor mentor at every turn and never sees an issue with it, and mentor having to reprimand her every time... but their both thinking about how attractive the other is the whole time (after their first or second interaction) it got old very quickly. This read was just not for me.

I really didn’t like Claire’s character at the outset, she was chancing on ruining a brilliant career of not only hers but also Nathan’s. He also had little self control once she started pushing his buttons and despite knowing it was wrong he too couldn’t resist. Later in the story the background to Claire’s previous boyfriend came to light and it was then that I started to warm to her.

Dirty, Bossy Doctor is book twelve in the series Forbidden Doctors by author Sofia T Summers. This is really sweet read- lots of miscommunications cause some tense moments. The characters are really spirited and have alpha characteristics- yep even the female.
Except in the bedroom - here the MC takes control and the FC loves every minute.
There’s a couple of obstacles which causes some strife but no worries a HEA will s in the cards.

This is another great addition to Summers' Forbidden Doctors series and can be read as a standalone. I've read several (not all) of the books in this series and by Summers and I love how smooth flowing the storylines are. Great job in the dual points of view as well. Great characters that captivate and a good balance of steamy chemistry paired with sweet romance. Love the taboo of workplace romance and the angst that goes along with that and more in this read. A journey that will leave you smiling.

Typically I am a fan of this author, her books are fun, steamy, and adventurous. This one fell flat for me as I did not care for the MMC and the FMC was just okay. I felt Nathan started great with the whole "grumpy boss" but became annoying as the book progressed. The miscommunication between the characters went on for too many chapters and the ending felt rushed. However, I am a fan of this author and this would not deter me from checking out her books in the future!.

If you have any Ice in a cup by you watch out because Nathan or Dr. Pierce as he is in this medical romance book will melt it to water. I felt bad for him when I read that he lost his wife Bri and so he was working as a doctor to try and stay busy. Then in comes a Sexy intern that is going to ignite of a new passion in his healing heart. I thought this book made Greys Anatomy look like mud because this book is coming in HOT and OH MY so GREAT.

He is a brilliant doctor who lost his first wife and is working through the pain. Claire is the new intern clever as she is she has a tendency to be impulsive something Nathan couldn't allow. When their clashes turn intimate will it lead them along the path to happiness. This medical romance kept me glued to the pages from start to finish.

This was a fun read. It did give me a little whiplash. Nathan was domineering and uncompromising but in the next minute he was desiring Claire. To be fair Claire was a little full of herself, more than a new resident should be. Nathan had a lot of demons to fight and you could feel his conflict. In the end they made it to their HEA.

This book was very boring I skimmed SO much. I can't stand when a MC has a dead spouse that they just cannot get over, and then are randomly like "oh! actually they weren't my soulmate this new love interest has shown me that"....like come on. The MMC spent half the book mourning the dead wife, just to randomly be like actually she wasn't my soul mate, the FMC is. Like what the hell. The FMC was annoying. This book just wasn't for me.

The author has given us an emotional older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Nathan and Claire. The story keeps us turning the pages with forbidden desire, denial, consequences and steam.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I have read many books by this author and I have enjoyed all of them. This book is about Nathan and Claire. There are definitely sparks between the two of them. I would highly recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

A wonderful book that you couldn't put down. I thought Claire and Nathan were great together. how their story went and what they went through to have their happy ending together was amazing. I can recommend this book to everyone to read.

Nathan and Claire have a forbidden office romance. Nathan fits the bill for being a bossy doc. These two have an interesting dynamic that is filled with banter and bicker. There is alot of passion and heat between them. I enjoyed their story with how their HEA came about
