She has breached containment, and she's coming for him. When Jack Hammond gets locked up in a top secret facility, he thinks he's finally stopped the nightmare that's been following him.
But she isn't the only thing that goes bump in the night.
As the newest inmate in a co-ed prison, Jack must conquer beauties and bullies alike. There's just one problem: the facility holds far worse things than he can imagine. He might have a tenacious tomboy and bold bombshell in his corner, but he has to escape if he wants to keep them.
This starts at a run and accelerates from there. The story is fast and well thought out. It feels like an awesome mix of Twilight Zone and X-files and SCP and whatever other SFF creepy lab whatever you can think of.
The relationships are what make this extra fun. Not just relationships with the girls, but with the other entities and inmates.
I really hope the author will write more in this story. I’ve really come to like the characters and world he’s created and would love to read more.
Anyways, that’s why you shouldn’t write a story without fleshing out-
Do you see how absolutely ridiculous that is for a reader? You can’t just give a link to a website with some stolen art generated by an AI machine and then expect your readers to understand your half baked story that is more a penthouse letter than novel.
Are the characters interesting? I don’t really know. They weren’t fleshed out at all. Really it was like playing with 4 femurs. One that said ‘hot tomboy’ another that said ‘hot doctor’ another that said ‘hot female’ and the last that said ‘hot monster’. The skull was named ‘jack’ but honestly other than being the word that was gasped out by his many lovers, what was the point of even having a skull!
I’ve pushed this analogy to its limit. The book is frustrating to read, with almost 0 background given. There were times it almost touched on being better, but then the author went right back into ‘every girl wants to bang me because I’m the MC’ mode, and any story development fell by the wayside.
As soon as the actual first sex scene started I had to stop.
It’s bad porn with an idea that could be good, but the actual writing just didn’t live up to it.
The MC seems to willingly be there in the beginning and then immediately wants to escape. He seems down with being in prison, like he knows what he’s doing, but this is also his first time.
I mean, the people he’s with apparently aren’t even monsters. Just people who have seen some crazy stuff and now they’re guinea pigs?
I was recommended this book when I asked for a monster girl romance similar to another story.
They must not have read it cause this story is the exact opposite.

Overall a good setup, questions that some are answered, some lead to more questions.
Not my favorite series of the author's I feel though. The MC has more of that faceless protagonists thing where you know little to nothing about him. That's not remotely a kind I care for, I barely tolerate it in anime.
Between that and the editing errors I still give it 3.5 stars though. It's a quick read and fast pace. The smut escalates quick, and is solid. I might still read the next in the series just not high on my list.
This one had an interesting premise that I haven’t really seen before. The plot started out with not a lot of details about how jack got where we started but we end up learning a lot alongside him. A fun story with lots more left to learn. We got an introduction to this world and have a lot more to figure out. I’m looking forward to where it goes!
By far one of the oddest, in a good, no a great way, books I have ever read! I know I can’t describe or do it justice, but you really need to read this, I so hope there will be an audible version soon! I am floored and flabbergasted, please continue the story, I fear and love the way you mind works! Not. Enough. Stars. Need. More. Stars!
Besides A.V.'s usual flair for steamy scenes being just as fun as ever, this is a wholly untapped genre of novel, and erotica, that calls to me on a spiritual, or non-euclidean (haha), level. This is if SCP stories were turned into a prison themes erotica, and I'm in love with it. I hope we get many, many more.
I have to admit I was intrigued by this story mainly because it is all over the place and at tines its like watching a train wreck!!! All and all for all the confusion at times of what is going on it comes together and is really a great story!!!!
I finally did understand what the story line was. It is very confusing but the erotic scenes were really good really good. I think I would like to see a sequel to this because there is so much more that could be explored in the labyrinth.
What a wonderfully unique imagination this author has! A little confusing at first, then it all came together! I never review hooks, but I HAD TOO for this book!
It’s SCP. Or THAT part of cabin in the woods. Plot was okay, same with the characters, they are above average for this genre. Manages to stay fresh, doesn’t feel like a common formula mix up. The ending was a bit weak, almost like they weren’t sure there was going to be more.
A bit heavy on the sex end of the sex/story ratio, but a decent creepy co-ed eldrich prison story, if such a thing needs to exist.
It got difficult to track all the eldrich horrors after a while, but not all of them are hostile at least. Characters weren't the deepest, but adequate to the story requirements. The setting doesn't pretend to be a standard prison, so any resemblance to the real-world thing is more coincidental than anything else.
Not the most coherent story all told, but it held my attention reasonably well, even if it wasn't a "stay up too late" one-shot read. Looks like a one-and-done, but one or more sequels are conceivable. Not sure I'd come back for one though, this story went as far as I felt it needs to.
