Harriet Muncaster studied illustration at Norwich University College of the Arts before going on to get an MA in children’s book illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. In creating the art for her first book for children, she was thrilled to have found a good outlet for her lifelong fascination with miniatures. She lives in Hertfordshire, England.

V is beyond these now, so I grab the chance to read any new-to-me Harriet Muncaster book before it goes into the school library. As always, she has woven everyday kid experiences (this time sibling dynamics) into a magic-filled imaginative world (with all the wonderful details, like what the characters eat, and the always delightful illustrations). Always enjoyable!
