Bear Willis: Mountain Man: Return To Wyoming: A Mountain Man Adventure

Rate this book
The seventeenth Mountain Man adventure in a series from Peter Alan Turner!

Bear Willis yearns to see Wyoming one more time before he dies. When he tells his wife, Waity, about returning to Wyoming, she knows she must let him go. “Just promise to come back to me,” she whispers as they say goodbye.

But Bear never could have imagined the dangers that awaited him when he sets off with his friend, Otis, and a young Yaqui warrior. From a crazy killer to roving bands of Blackfoot Indians, Bear's journey is far from peaceful. His troubles only multiply when he reluctantly agrees to guide a wagonload of dance hall girls and their manager, Carter Parsons, to Fort Laramie.

However, as the group faces challenges on the trail, Bear begins to suspect that Carter may not have their best interests at heart. And when the promised payment for their services goes missing, Bear must use his skills and wit to save the day. With a demanding manager, six temperamental girls, and menacing men all vying for their attention, Bear and his companions must fight to survive in the Wild West.

"Return to Wyoming" is a thrilling tale of adventure, danger, and redemption. So saddle up and join Bear, but beware - not everyone will make it out alive!

Writing has always been a lifelong dream. Finally, at 71 years young, that dream became a reality. I am honored to be part of Dusty Saddles Publishing, the leading publisher of Western Novels. Currently, I have several Western Series on Amazon: Chet Henderson: Texas Ranger Adventure Series, Bear Willis: Mountain Man Series, and Willie McGee: Mountain Man Series. Along with a co-write with my granddaughter.

In creating my Westerns, I wanted to do three things, be authentic, create likable characters, and tell a good story. With a lot of hard work and prayer, my books have been well received, so, I must be doing something right.

I live with my wife of fifty-three years and our cat Moxie on Rattlesnake Ridge. We are lucky that our children, grandchildren, and great-grandson all live close by. When I'm not writing, I enjoy woodcarving, fishing, and pampering my classic Jaguar.

I donate a portion of the profits from my books to Veteran charities, including the Veteran’s Independence Project.
