This book talks about what makes us cry and how it is a physical demonstration of emotion as well as showing where tears come from. It is a great book for lower elementary as they practice identifying the emotions they feel and why they have certain reactions. I think it could be a fun read aloud because it would spark a lot of curiosity and questions when talking about the science behind tears.

Another good read for young readers in this series. This one focuses on crying- though there are other reasons a person may cry if does offer some key points, and it is meant to leave one wanting some more information on the subject.
