In a world where the lines between myth and reality blur, “Tribunal Order” unveils a hidden history where magic is not just a figment of imagination but a lost truth. Perception is the reality they always say, so it could be said that perception is also history. In the beginning, the Earth is a bastion of vitality, brimming with enchantment and creatures of lore. Yet, beyond its borders, the Siphon - fueled by the raw force of chaos - has laid waste to realm after realm. Its gaze then fell upon our verdant world, not to destroy, but to feast upon the chaos it yearned to cultivate. As the Siphons stirs unrest, humanity unwittingly becomes the architect of its own demise, allowing chaos to ascend as the dominant force. Those who pen our past were tainted by their own avarice and turmoil, viewing magic as a threat to their dominion.
While the Earth teeters on the precipice of ruin, the Tribunal steps forth from the shadows. This ancient council, once a mere whisper in the order of time, now rallies its new recruits. Their To restore equilibrium and safeguard a world unaware of the precipice upon which it stands.
I am a mother, a nurse, an advocate, a photographer, a writer, and a reader! I love everything outdoors, and I collect animals. I love to hear from my readers!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow what a book! I couldn’t put it down! Loved that it helped me to get away from reality. If you love things like Hidden World, Ancient Order, Good vs Evil, and Lost History then look no further this book is for you!
I REALLY wanted to rate this book higher. I absolutely loved the idea of it - the epic storyline, the magic system and the characters! Which I’ll get to in a moment. But here’s the reason why I scored it so low; the writing!!!!
Overall I give the writing a 2! Which is so disappointing for me, because like I said - I loved this book! It has sooo many grammatical errors and typos - names misspelt and waaaay too much flowery nonsense… how many times can you say adorned?? Apparently in EVERY sentence. Adorned, beckoned, ethereal, kaleidoscope!! I will forever find the synonyms of these words because of this book!!! The crazy part is some of the writing was just so beautiful, I have highlighted quotes from this book I absolutely loved. Definitely need someone to edit edit edit!!
The things I LOVED;
The storyline! The characters! The magic system! The unity!
There are so many different characters, a complete box of smarties! Different personalities, backgrounds, professions and they come together so good!! They are lovable and badass and REAL! Favourite characters; Katerina, Vega, Archer.
The magic system; epic! Firstly, you get an animal “guide” that’s basically linked to your soul and aides you in your magical journey. Secondly, elements!! Agni Clan (fire), Vayu Clan (Air), Prithvi Clan (Earth), and Jala Clan (water) where your abilities are tied to these elements with the soul purpose to make the earth healthy. And all of it works best in a group!
And the romance…. Ok the romance is not cringe. It’s real. Which I actually enjoyed about the book too. Massive Vega & Aria fan!
I can’t wait to see where this story goes in book two, I am hoping the writing is a bit better - or I might start writing the synonyms for words in myself - pray for a sister the obsession over this is baaaadddd!

Chaos: Emergence is a swift and engaging read, featuring an intriguing plot that captivates the reader. The narrative has a conversational quality, allowing for a strong connection with the main characters. Certain chapters stand well on their own, and the overall tone is reminiscent of Percy Jackson. While some sections may feel repetitive and a few minor grammar errors are present, the tasteful inclusion of romance enhances the story. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and eagerly anticipate the next installment.
I read this book on kindle unlimited because I saw all of the positive reviews and promotions for this on Instagram, but I was so disappointed. This book was ROUGH. The book needs a major developmental revision and several more rounds of edits. The concept at face value is interesting, I guess? But it did not deliver. There are so many POV's, but none of the characters stood out on their own. They all blended together. The book was trying to do too much, and none of it landed. I would not recommend this.
I absolutely loved the concept of Chaos Emergence and the way Sabreena explores the interconnectedness between humans and animals. The idea of a world where the two can merge is both fascinating and thought-provoking. While the execution felt a bit slow at times, the overall story was compelling and kept me engaged.
If you enjoy stories told from multiple perspectives, this book is definitely for you. The shifting viewpoints provide a rich and immersive experience. I would highly recommend Chaos Emergence to fans of fantasy and speculative fiction."
I loved it. The characters are well written and the plot is unique and interesting. There is a lot of plot-building and world-building, but it's never boring! There are multiple main characters whose POV's you follow through the book, and it really allows you to get thoroughly invested in all of their survivals.
If you are looking for a new fantasy series to dive into, this book is for you! This book is definitely one of my new favorite fantasy books. It has everything you love in it. Want a slow burn and possible love triangle? this book's got it. Want a new take on a magical world? This book is for you! The characters are very relatable, but can also kick some evil butt. 10/10 I highly recommend diving into the Chaos!
Wow just wow that’s all I can say. This a different type of fantasy I’ve read so far this year. There is spice and plot and twists. I can’t wait til book 2 comes out. I want to know how it ends. If it ends.
I absolutely LOVED this book! It has so much of my favorite things involved in it. Magic, "guides," blossoming love, and "the big evil". I cannot WAIT for the next book. Definitely recommend!
Edited to include more detailed review:
Y'all. This book is so good! I can't hype it enough. It's a multi person viewpoint (and that's not what i normally read...) BUT the story is sooooooo worth it! It's a little bit of fantasy, a little bit apocalyptic, some love, and general hope for a better world all rolled into one. I might not have found this book on my own, but so glad it was recommended to me! And in the heart of full disclosure, it is 1 book, in the start of an as of yet, unfinished series... but trust me when i say that the future books are going to be worth the wait. Start with this book and begin the adventure you won't regret! <3
Absolutely hooked! Get ready for some chaos! If you want a book that sucks you in, look no further! I was instantly drawn in from the start! There's something about escaping into a story that's not your average day-to-day! The characters had me completely absorbed! The world building was so detailed but easy to visualize! Bring on the next installment—I'm eagerly awaiting it!
This book was amazing!! Sabreena created a wonderful world full of magic, found family, and guides to help the characters along their exciting journey. I devoured this book!!
*Blurb* Aria is a nurse whose goal is to help people. Archer is her patient who is in need of a lung transplant. When they meet, everything changes. They realize that magic is real, and it is guiding them to meet others like them - others who can touch magic and possibly change the world. They quickly accept their new destiny and set off to find their magical peers. Along the way they meet Jaliah, an imaginative yet lonely waitress; Vega, a rich playboy who yearns for meaning and purpose; and Katerina, a young girl struggling with depression and trauma who wants to be understood. Each of these young people have a different animal guide as well, with links to the magical world.
The paths of these five seemingly normal people converge, and they learn that the world is not as it seems. Magic is not only real, but it has also been hidden throughout history. Any time that magic has been known, so has chaos. The Siphon is drawn to this chaos, and it has a bottomless hunger. The quintet of heroes are eventually whisked away to a magical location where they meet Riya, Talon, Callen, Annalise, and Greyson. Along with each of these new heroes, we are also introduced to five new animal guides. All of the heroes must figure out their roles and work together to learn how to wield their magic in order to stop the Siphon from destroying the world.
*Review* This book had an interesting premise, but it was a little slow for me. The story is told from five perspectives, each one giving insight into our main five characters. Although I appreciated initially meeting each character through their own eyes, I found that going back to each perspective made the story move at a slower pace than I would like. The slow pace continued through the training scenes, and I wish that we had gotten more character development from our main five instead. It made it difficult for me to care about any other character than Aria, as hers was the most developed character.
What I liked best was the author’s ability to paint a picture as I was reading. There were several parts where the language was not only descriptive, but also full of metaphors and allusions that made it a pleasure to read. However there were times that I would have preferred more plot or character development over the flowery descriptions.
I also liked the idea of every fairy tale and superhero story actually being true, but hidden for magical reasons. The way that some stories were even linked into the book mythology was very fun.
I would recommend this book if you like reading stories with multiple viewpoints that move at a slower pace but vividly describe things. You might like this book if you like books where characters discover that magic is real and the characters are chosen ones. You might also like this book if you like romance and fantasy combined, as there were several steamy scenes.
"At the edge of chaos, unexpected outcomes occur. The risk to survival is severe."
"Chaos is what we've lost touch with. This is why it is given a bad name. It is feared by the dominant archetype of our world, which is Ego, which clenches because its existence is defined in terms of control."
Once, man and beast coexisted in a symbiotic union, where beasts bore man and man nurtured beasts, fostering an idyllic world free from chaos.
“just because a story CAN unfold a certain way, does not mean it WILL unfold that way. Ultimately you are the one in control of where your story goes.”
I am happy because we didn’t miss a sunrise together”
My bed is amazing.
“Let’s say that when you came here the world was on a level 1 on the chaos scale, which was already bad enough. In the time you have been here, it has climbed to level 7, which is cataclysmic.

Omg I’m still processing what I just read and immediately jumped into book 2
Emergence Wow, I love this! The magic system, the world building, the unitedness, the characters and I loved the animal guides that like are a part of your soul and aid you in your magical journey, the connection between them and the human, the elemental magic/clans, making the earth healthy with their magic. I loved the insight to each characters with multiple point of views I want to be a chosen one! Lol I am hooked and jumped immediately into book 2 let the adventures continue..
Book 2 Chaos: Ruination
We dive right into the second book. We return to their home world navigating a broken world, and our characters are learning to use their newfound powers in training and recruit others as well to help the character relatable and the magic system. Interesting it kept me captivated and made me rethink about how I can change things to contribute taking better care of our earth in our home. I’m still processing, but I’m hooked in this tribunal series and can’t wait for book 3!
Chaos: Emergence by Sabreena Rodgers is a sweeping, myth-infused fantasy that reads like a revelation the kind of story that cracks open the veneer of our world and exposes the ancient, volatile magic simmering beneath everything we think we know. It’s atmospheric, philosophical, and richly imaginative, blending cosmic threat with deeply human frailty.
Rodgers roots the narrative in a beautiful, haunting premise: what if Earth was once overflowing with magic, and what if the history we know is nothing but a distorted echo shaped by fear, greed, and the need for control? The idea that “perception is history” becomes the book’s heartbeat, a lens through which myth and truth become indistinguishable.
The Siphon is a chilling antagonist not merely destructive, but hungry, feeding on chaos the way a wildfire feeds on oxygen. Its slow encroachment on Earth reframes humanity’s conflicts as fuel for something far more ancient and predatory. This cosmic dread, paired with the sense that humans themselves have become the unwitting architects of their downfall, gives the novel a gripping, existential tension.
Against this backdrop rises the Tribunal a clandestine council awakened from obscurity to restore order. Their return feels both mythic and urgent, and the introduction of new recruits adds emotional immediacy. Rodgers balances the grand scale of cosmic devastation with the intimate struggles of individuals suddenly tasked with protecting a world that has no idea how close it is to collapse.
This is a story for readers who love ancient councils, lost magic, philosophical fantasy, and narratives where the past and present collide with apocalyptic force. Chaos: Emergence is bold, atmospheric, and brimming with the kind of worldbuilding that lingers long after the final page.
I just finished reading Chaos Emergence, and going into it, I knew it was a debut novel, which always makes me a little more forgiving of minor flaws. That said, Sabreena Rogers truly shines when it comes to crafting vivid, fantastical imagery. Her descriptions were beautifully detailed without ever feeling overwhelming, giving me just enough to fully immerse myself in the world while still leaving room for my imagination to fill in the gaps. The landscapes, magical environments, and nature-inspired settings felt whimsical and enchanting throughout the entire book.
With multiple POV characters, I initially worried the story might become difficult to follow, but that wasn't the case at all. Each perspective had a distinct voice and purpose, allowing me to experience the story from different angles while deepening my connection to the overall narrative.
The storyline itself was compelling, especially the way it blended the modern world with magical realms. It felt fresh and unique, and I found myself becoming increasingly invested as the plot unfolded. I particularly enjoyed the themes woven throughout the story, including chaos, habitat destruction, war, and the consequences of humanity's actions on both the natural and magical worlds.
The beginning was strong, and the ending absolutely hooked me, leaving me excited to see where the story goes in Book 2. My only criticism lies in portions of the middle section, which occasionally felt repetitive and slowed the pacing. There were also a few moments where the pacing felt uneven, briefly pulling me out of the story.
Overall, however, Chaos Emergence was an enjoyable and imaginative read with a fascinating world, memorable characters, and plenty of promise for the series moving forward. I'm definitely interested in continuing the journey in Book 2.
I first found the author on threads and I’m so glad I did. This book was so good. It’s different from what I’ve read before. I throughly enjoyed how different this book was and the premise of it. Although it was a little slow at times it didn’t take away from the book for me. What I really enjoyed was the way the author is able to describe things, I was able to picture things so easily because of this. I’ve always love Multi POV and this hit the spot on that point.
While this is fantasy it’s definitely got its romance going on! Now I’m not gonna put spoilers but I will say I really and loving the romance. It’s a bit of a slow build but the tension is 🔥.
While I do love all the characters I think I really like Jaliah. I can’t get enough and want more lol. I’m loving the growth of these characters and I love that I don’t feel they are underdeveloped at all! If anything they just keep getting better. I’m honestly so excited for the next book!
Overall, this book was so good! I’m so excited to read the next one! I love the romantsy vibe this book has given me, and while it is a little slow at times it doesn’t take away from the beauty of the book!
Chaos Emergence is an epic fantasy with magic and romance. This story follows five different characters who meet up guided by mythical/spirited creatures of lore. Aria, Archer, Jaliah, Vega, and Katerina all meet in different areas and are connected in some magical way. Their story has mysterious dreamlike states, ancient tribunal order guiding them to be heroes to fight the Siphons of Chaos. I love how we see them all work hard with their elements and work as a group. Also, I love how they aren’t alone in this quest, they are brought together with five other characters who also are like them. Their story is a great introduction to the series and love how we get multiple POVs. I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait to see what happens next.
I voluntarily leave an honest review of this gifted readers copy.
Thank you to the author for a copy of this book! This does not affect my review.
This one was so fascinating. It’s like a fantastical dystopian version of Earth where men and women from different backgrounds discover they have a “familiar” or animal companion that’s been with them and now is guiding them to their destiny, saving earth from the Siphon.
I loved mostly the tropes of found family, elemental magic, animal companions, dystopian world, and hidden tribunal. It was a perfect blend to make this story unique.
There were incredibly dynamic MCs with multiple POVs which I appreciated because you could tell who was “speaking” even without reading the chapter header. I loved having characters from different backgrounds come together and play to each others strengths and weaknesses. My favorite characters though had to be Vega and Aria… I shipped them from the start!!
*Chaos Emergence* by Sabreena Rodgers is a thrilling fantasy novel that plunges readers into a world teetering on the brink of chaos. With a well-crafted narrative, Rodgers introduces complex characters and intricate world-building, keeping the tension high throughout. The fast-paced action, coupled with moments of emotional depth, draws readers in as the protagonists grapple with shifting allegiances and looming threats. The dialogue is sharp, and the plot twists are compelling, though at times the story can feel slightly overwhelming due to the sheer volume of detail. Overall, a captivating read for fantasy lovers.
This is different than any thing I've ever read and I was so intrigued from the start. The entire concept of this, the views from the different people involved and their coming together. Spectacular.
I think this has got to be the most unique book I've ever read. The journey of them finding each other, going on the wild invigorating ride to discovering and learning how to control their magic.
I really wasn't expecting to meet another wave of people about halfway through but that was pretty exciting.
This was truly some next level type shit and I am living for it! I'm so excited for book 2.
This was a really enjoyable read. There’s a bunch of characters in this and I really liked all of them. The way Aria, Jaliah, Asher, Vega, and Kat found each other in the beginning was really interesting and it only got more interesting once they met the rest of their group. There’s a really good mix of spice and action in this. I loved everyone’s training when they accessed their powers and the way they were all able to come together as a team. There were quite a few surprises in this. I think the characters were really well developed and I think the next step of the battle against chaos is gonna be amazing!
Chaos: Emergence is an intriguing book filled with immersive world-building, badass characters, and a plot that eerily reflects the current state of the world, particularly in the realm of politics and trying to survive day by day.
I loved that the story has multiple POVs that give insight into each character. Sabreena's way of capturing the similarities between humans and animals was well done.
Some parts felt repetitive but the conversational narrative and prose kept me reading. The magic system, bits of romance, and found family trope makes this book worth the read 🖤
multi pov. 5 main characters. Humans finding magic long ago hidden. They travel to a hidden realm to gain knowledge of their newly gifted powers as the chosen. Seeking to gain strength to beat the Siphon and restore the magical balance in earth. Each character is well developed. Yet the story is slow moving. This book is setting up these characters to save the downfall of earth. I feel the anticipation building. I find this to have a cozy magical vibe sprinkled with a lil spice. I will be finishing this series.
Found family, found magic, the world on the brink of destruction. So many characters going through journeys of self discovery. This first book in a series is one that may have you questioning whether fairytales could be real. If superheroes could actually exist. AND, have you wondering if love can still be found in the midst of an upcoming war between good and evil. Mildly spicy (1.5 chili peppers). I would definitely recommend if you like fantasy, found family, adventure, and the potential for magic to be real.
This was a great futuristic fantasy story. What if you woke up and your life was going to change forever? Would you embrace it or run from it? Aria learns that she’s about to face the most strangest but very curious challenge of her life. Will she be alone or are there others who face the same challenges? This book is so good and the way the author describes the scenes, you feel like you’re right there in the story. If you like fantasy stories, then this book is for you. I highly recommend it.
I had so much trouble getting in the story and the swapping between so many different POV’s. Around 60-70% into the book i was more hooked to the story although it was a long way there.. but when I reached that point i vas intrigued and wanted to know more.
I loved the way she described the enviroment and settings in the book, most of it painted beautiful pictures! I’m curious on what the next book will hold for all the characters. 😌
Sabreena has a way of writing as this book becomes alive. You can feel the emotions, feel immersed in the world of the characters. Full of magic and training, a group comes together to defeat the chaos and bring earth back to safety. Sexy characters hook up but do they stay together? What happens to the group.
