I have been a freelance writer, journalist, columnist, and seminar speaker for 15+ years and I am the author of the nonfiction book, "Everything You Need to Know About House Training Puppies and Adult Dogs," which has been widely acclaimed in its genre.

I'm a happily married mom of two, step mom of two more, and have two cats, both rotten. I divide my time between Raleigh, NC, and Lake Gaston, VA.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, boating, relaxing, and attending my childrens' activities.

So...I don't usually review erotica, but a friend of mine put together this delightful little anthology made especially for moms, so I was dying to read how other moms interpreted how they stole moments of heat and passion for themselves. The mixture was a nice collection of stories ranging from the very sweet and romantic worshiping of a woman's body to the hot and frenzied morning quickie during an adult play date. The underlying theme in this diverse and tasteful erotica collection is moms discovering themselves, their need for personal time, reigniting old feelings, and heating up forgotten passions. After a long day with kids, it's just the right dose of spice to read one story a night and reflect on what it means in our own lives. (Note: the book is all about heterosexual couples, and contains no hardcore sexual acts such as BDSM. This is for the beginner erotica reader and/or those who like a little story around their sex!)
