Lost love is 🤍still love, Eddie. It just takes a different form, that's all. You can't hold their hand... You can't tousle their hair... But when those senses weaken another one comes to life... Memory... Memory becomes your partner. You hold it... you dance with it... Life has to end, Eddie... Love doesn't."
The 📕 that taught me the idea of death, God and life's never ending unanswered questions.
Really gets you thinking. Heaven is not what we imagine it. The five people we meet in heaven helps Eddie and humans still breathing on earth think about what has led them through their life, given their lives meaning, helped them to find the meaning in their life. Easy, quick listen (I did the audio book), but very thought provoking.
I thought that this was a very interesting story. Starting out the book with how the character dies was an interesting way to start it out, but I kind of liked it. All of the stories of the 5 people the main character Eddie met in heaven were all intricate and I loved each one. I do recommend this as a light book to read if you want to get back into reading!

i read this book in one day. the connectivity among human lives occurs more than we will ever know. a beautiful explanation of a man interconnected with so many lives without knowing it
It's been years since the first I read this and would soon like to pick this back up so that I can give a better review. Read in 2 days time. Loved it through and through.
another book I plan to read again and again in my lifetime!! This book is such a quick read and goes through a day's interaction with five complete strangers and how they impacted each other's lives. Definitely a tear jerker, but it really makes you think about how you go about in your daily life - the areas you tend to overreact, act out of disgust or anger, take with grace or kindness, and more importantly realize how important your "small" gestures may impact someone else.
