Moira “Mayday” Flowers has spent most of her life doing exactly what she pleases; she’s learned that happiness has a time limit. She’s never worried about the thoughts of others. Recently though, she’s learned that her actions have consequences for more than just herself. Guilt for getting her new best friend, Gloria knocked out of pledging a sorority during their freshman year has continued to haunt her.

Sophomore year dawns bright and new things are on the horizon such as the change in her living arrangements, but one thing remains the same. Mayday is a living breathing gremlin of chaos.

A chance meeting (and trademark vomiting) brings her into the orbit of one William Cagney, Silver Leaf Basketball player and extreme perfectionist.

It’s hatred at first upchuck, but chance is constantly putting them together. Can Will get Moira to call him by his correct name? Will Moira let go of her preconceived notions of her life, allowing her to live less chaotically?

Moira is a bit of a mess but in an endearing way. Plus it doesn't help with a gremlin in her head telling her all the internalized ableist things.

I really enjoy the friend group in this series! Everyone feels like a full fleshed out person with flaws and uniqueness. Cackled at Tala being up early in his bonnet with breakfast and coffee ready for the TEA. Honestly, same.

Heart swoon at the hair braiding caretaking moment. Will/Bill was also a little bit of a mess but also in a unique way.

Also still wanting a proper HEA ending!! Wren's book hopefully will have something more concrete or this is just the style of writing to cut things off when the conflict resolves and have the couple included in the next book. Either way, enjoying the ride.

Overall love this

I really love the relationship between Will and Moira. The chaos couple deserved full limelight. Unfortunately, I don't feel like they got it. There were too many references to Glory and Tala's relationship as well as Bear and his girl having a small portion of the storyline. Altogether, I felt like they got 25-30% of the story and I wanted it all on Moira and William. There was a lot of deep subjects in this storyline (one of the reasons why Mrs Blythe is one of my faves). She mixes heavy subjects with zany humor and unique characters. You don't get cookie cutter writing. Including the sex scenes. They are so real life awkward and hot at the same time. I look forward to the next book without hopefully little to no references to the Glory and Moira's storylines.

Lord Montague!

Excellent second book. There are plenty of hysterical scenes in this book. New characters add to not take away. I love how they work as a team for each other. Outstanding! Off to find book three.

Moria is a chaos goblin on two wheels. Best friend to Glory from book one, Moria's tale is one of growth as well.
Moria doesn't want to fall in love believing that her condition will make her a burden for anyone in her life - she's here for a good time, not a long time in her mind.
Will spends his life putting up a front of having it all together to hide the dysfunction in his life.
But when these two are together, they are able to be their true selves.
This one is a bit of heart wrencher and will have you tearing up. Very Enjoyable.
