Sloan Bridges is doing her best to move on from a horrible attack that left her scarred, literally. Her attacker is in a wheelchair awaiting trial. With him out of her life, she focuses on other things like school, Prom, and those Hunter boys.
Someone won't allow her to be happy.
On Sunday, she receives five long stem roses and a note in the front seat of her locked Five days before the fall.
What the fall is, she has no idea. Whatever it is, it doesn't sound good. Every day, Sloan gets one less rose and another note. No one else sees them, though, and they think she's either losing her mind or taking too much pain medicine.
She knows better. With the countdown nearly complete, can Sloan figure out who is threatening her before someone she loves pays with his life?
Kelly Martin is an author and developmental editor who lives in a possibly haunted house in a small southern town. While she'd like to say paranormal things only happen to her at her home, it would be a lie, mainly because she searches them out in some of America's most haunted locations. Whether it is talking to the ghosts of Waverly Hills or the spirits of Thomas House Hotel, these events inevitably land in some of Kelly's books. Just wait until you read The Haunting of Micah Reed.
I bought this as soon as it went live last night. I did not want to stop reading it but it got so late I could not keep my eyes open. The second I had free time today I picked it up and finished it. Kelly Martin did an amazing job telling this story. Through this entire book you are trying to figure out who is stalking Sloan, once you think you know something happens to make you think otherwise. Along with the entire who is after her thing you have Aaron and Ray. Who will she choose? Aaron is the one who holds her heart but Ray is that all around good guy who she knows could being her comfort. Going through that struggle where she is trying to decide which brother all the while dealing with the craziness that is going on is a rollercoaster of its own. You love the characters, you really started to fall for them all in Saint Sloan but then Saving Sloan just closes the deal. This book was absolutely worth the wait!
Set about 6 months after the first book Saint Sloan - Sloan is settling back into school life, although the scare on her face is a constant reminder of the attack and attempted rape by former boyfriend Boyd. Sloan has also being hanging out with brothers Aaron and Ray but has so far been unable to decided which one has her heart - Ray the comfortable and predictable one or Aaron the no nonsense guy with a bad boy reputation.
Then 5 days before the prom Sloan return to car after church to find 5 red roses and a note about falling. The next there is another note this time with 4 roses but its the 3rd note that really hits home warning her if this goes to the police her mother will be hurt. Sloan fears someone she loves will be hurt if she doesn't find out who Mr ICU is before the prom.
Kelly Martin knows how to write characters you fall in love with and books you can't put down. I couldn't put this book down. I hope she write another book in the Saga of Sloan and the Hunter brothers.

Overall, I really liked this book. I read the first book, Saint Sloan, last year and this book picks up where that one left off. I think I enjoyed the first one more, but this book had a lot of suspense, romance, and twists. The only reason why I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a few grammatical errors and the wording in some places was confusing, which I didn't notice as much in the first book. However, I highly recommend reading this book after reading the first one because the writing is very engaging and keeps you interested and on the edge of your seat!
