I haven't had the chance to read all of these stories, but if they are anything like the one I have read, this is a boxed set worth getting a hold of. Here's my review of Sherry Gammon's Unbelievable:

There were so many things to love about Unbelievable, I don't even know where to start. Oh, wait... yes I do. With the characters!

Lilah, oh Lilah! I love this girl. Okay, yes, she originally shows up in town with some not-so-nice plans for some of my favorite characters of all time, but that has all been forgiven. Where Maggie was a bit of a damsel in distress character in book one, Lilah was basically her polar opposite. Don't get me wrong, Maggie is without a doubt my favorite fictional character ever, but there's nothing bad about a lil kick-ass in a heroine, either. This girl has a whole host of her own issues to deal with, but she's not afraid to meet them head on and to do what needs to be done to protect the people she cares about.

And Cole. I must admit. I had my doubts about him pulling off the role of hero based on the first book, but he definitely steps up and fills the big-boy shoes in this one. He's an entirely different kind of hero than either Seth or Booker, but he's ever bit as endearing. I love Opie!

And then there are the others. I think possibly my favorite thing about this book is that, though it revolves around Lilah and Cole's story, it doesn't leave anyone out. All our favorites from the first book are back and better than ever. Seth, Maggie and Booker all have big roles in the story that keep you thoroughly invested in each of them. I can't even explain how excited I am for Booker's story!

Now, onto the story. It was one that cost me hours of sleep because I just couldn't put it down. The perfect combination of heart-warming, gut-busting, head-scratching, adrenaline-inducing story telling. Cole and Lilah's relationship started out slowly... very slowly, and very believably for the characters involved, but the action and intrigue kept the pages flowing nicely. By the time everything started to fall into place, I was so invested that stopping wasn't even an option until I knew how everything would turn out.

The Port Fare series is not to be missed by anyone who enjoys contemporary romance.

I got this set for an unbelievable deal of 99 cents and was pleased that it had so many great stories that I actually loved--not just some cast offs from the authors.

I loved Baggage Claim by Amanda Tru. I bit all my cuticles off while reading this thriller romance and lost a night of sleep trying to figure out in my head what would happen to the characters. I didn't do so good, but still loved the book despite my nasty looking nails and bags under my eyes.

Home before Dark by Christy Barritt was a cozy murder mystery romance about a famous country singer searching for her father's murderer when she discovers his hidden journals.

A Perfect Fit by Heather Tullis delved into the lives of 6 daughters who only discover each other after their father's death and his will states they must live together and run his new hotel for a year to inherit.

Blog This was an intense thriller about a successful mommy blogger who becomes the focus of a hit-man when she upsets the power that one violent video game tycoon has upon children. Natasha is the main character with her two cute kids. FBI agents, police, and an ex-husband and her talkative best friend all try to keep her alive, but she may be her worst enemy as she can’t seem to stop blogging about atrocities when they happen.

Cassie's Cowboy Crave was a fun, clean read with a lot of emotional tension and characters that were easy to like. The story pulled me along as Cassie was thrown unexpectedly into witness protection to hide her from a murderous gang intent on killing her. She falls in love (of course...it's a romance novel), but trouble seems to come from the place she least expects it.

Unbelievable by Sherry Gammon was my favorite story in this set. Lilah Dreser is the daughter of an infamous drug runner. When she goes to a small town in New York to find a job near Booker Gatto, the MET agent responsible for killing her brothers, she only wants to be free of her father’s tyrannical rule. But as she gets to know the people he wants revenge on, she starts doubting her father’s story. Seth, Maggie, Booker, and Cole seem too nice to have executed her brothers.

You belong with me by Shannon Guymon was about 3 sisters who inherit their grandma’s bakery and move together to do a ‘start-over’ in life, which all three seriously need.

Overall a great set with some great reads in it!

Of the seven novels, I found that I liked four, and did not care for the other three.

The first story/novel, Baggage Claim by Amanda Tru, was really bad. I couldn't really connect to any of the characters. The female lead seemed to be a Mary Sue -- too perfect, too quickly. The story seem to need to require the reader to suspend their disbelief a lot. It was too far a stretch for me. I don't think I'll read any other books by this author.

The second story, Home Before Dark by Christy Barritt, was far more entertaining. The hardship that Daleigh McDermott had with fame, made her seem to be more believable, to me. I liked the way Daleigh and Nick related to each other.

Although, I don't really read pure romance or chick-lit stories, I really enjoyed reading A Perfect Fit and You Belong to Me. The characters were funny, and I really liked the sisters having to work together aspect, and gradually becoming closer.

Unbelievable was a romantic suspense. I liked Delilah's interaction with Cole. She was sassy, and he was really cautious. I really liked the surprise with Cole's name.

I didn't really like Cassie's Cowboy Crave. It was a bit too romantic, and I just couldn't get into the story.

Blog This by Cami Checketts just seemed to be the story that just wouldn't end. I found it interesting at first, but it just kept going and going. I felt like it should have been a shorter story.

Good but disappointing too. I've read 6 of them and enjoyed most of them. Here is a brief reaction to those I read and they are not in order of the boxed set or that I read them. :)

One really ticked me off, which surprised me because I've previously enjoyed that author. However, the selection for this boxed set didn't make any sense to me. I'm purposely not using names because I do like this author. This one just wasn't for me.

One story I skipped just because it didn't sound interesting to me.

One story was a good romance but the suspense was almost non existent.

One story was good but felt too short. I guess that's a good thing.

And there were Two that I LOVED.

All were clean romances.

This book collection is very good. I was hesitant to read all of these at first but all the stories here are very entertaining, clean and good story base! I didn't read these all at once. It was over the course of the year that I read them.

These seven stories are all written differently depending on the author's style but there should be at least one story that everyone likes.

Good job Amand Tru for collecting them... A great get away for all.

What a fun compilation of books. I got it when it was $1 and I had only read one of the authors before. I was very pleasantly surprised with a few of the books. (I reviewed each book individually, so you can get more details about them if you are interested.) Some of the books were more mystery or suspense, but all had romance--great dessert books!
