There are memories that we try our hardest to forget. Reminders of what was taken from us...
For FBI Agent Emma Griffin pain and brokenness was all she knew. At eleven, she found her mother murdered. The love she most cherished was gone in an instant. Even after catching the culprit, the pang in her heart never left her. Now with her husband and newfound family. It seems like the painful chapters are finally closed.
When bodies are found seemingly mimicking Emma’s old cases. It seems like an enemy from agent Griffin's past is zeroing in on those close to her. When a floodgate of memories resurfaces, birthing a desire in Emma to destroy those who dare threaten the people she loves. She starts to remember pain points that her mind attempted to erase.
There’s time for justice, then there’s time for retribution. To crush the things that stomps on the innocent and robs us of our joy. Revenge isn’t sweet, it’s judgement.
Another outstanding book in the “The Girl Who” series! Emma has been having strange things happening to her, an accident ( or was it?), strange phone calls which keep getting more frequent, and the phrase, “Do you remember me?” Emma tries to go with her life, but she’s constantly worried and trying to find answers. If you’ve read the other books in the series, you will be trying to remember things that might be connected to these strange happenings. I absolutely love this series and am amazed at the new ideas the author comes up with! I received an ARC of this book from the author. This is my honest review.
AJ Rivers is one of my favorite authors, and she does a phenomenal job with this book. FBI Agent Emma Griffin has a stalker, one that wants her to remember. Then things start happening that remind Emma of previous cases. Can Emma put the pieces together and figure out this strange puzzle in time?
OMG. This is a fantastic thriller. I swear every Emma Griffin book gets better. I can never wait for the next one. This book is a ten star book. I could not put this book down. Loved. It. I highly recommend this book and series. Keep them coming
In this book, we finally find out who Emma's stalker is. They had been stalking her for a while now and after coming face to face with the woman, she finds out her stalker is this woman named Noelle who Emma had previously encountered during a raid that went bad. Several people lost their lives and Noelle lost her baby. She wanted revenge on the FBI agents who were apart of that raid so she killed 2 other agents and came after Emma with her small army. When they came face to face, Noelle had planted a bomb in the Community Center and after a struggle went down between Emma and Noelle, Emma had to save herself and get out before the bomb so she had to leave Noelle in the building when the bomb went off. But Emma finally figured out her stalker so she's happy that is all over.
At the end, we finally see Xavier progress his relationship with Cupcake and kiss her. It makes me so happy reading about Xavier and having good things happen for him. He's probably my favorite character in this series.
Not a bad book within the series, I definitely was on the wrong track of who Emma's stalker was and how they were connected. I thought it had something to do with her childhood/ Mother, not a case that went bad. But I'm glad it's finally solved, it would have been dragged out too long if it didn't stop in this book.

This latest installment in Emma Griffin's series is packed full of action. There are so many answers that come to readers after she is faced with more stalking and accidents. Emma seems to be pulled into all different directions as the chaos continues but with help from her chosen family, an end seems to be in sight. So much goes on in this book and there is never a dull moment. I know this is the end of this series but I cannot wait to read more of what is in store for Emma and the rest of her group. I couldn't put this one down.
Love the series and the characters. The story is as always superb, but that's just in my opinion, maybe for some people might be not to their liking. I personally would recommend reading it. If you decide to, you definitely need to start from the beginning. Cannot wait for the new Emma book.
The Girl Who Remembers (Emma Griffin FBI Mystery Book 28)
OMG!!!!!! This book is unforgettable. Emma has a stalker and this person is out to hurt the people she cares about. Emma has to remember this person before they kill again. Emma finally figures it out, but not before a bomb is set and these people come after her. I can't wait for the next book.
Love this series with Emma, Sam, Dean, Xavier, Eric and the rest of the family/team! Emmas past comes back to haunt her but with her family/friends she figures it out and solves another case. Can’t wait for the next book in the series not only for the suspense/murder case but to see where Xavier and Cupcake end up. Their kiss finally happening awesome!!!!!
Note to cheaters. Treat exes and other's with kindness!
The leader of a law firm passes out in a very ugly way at a Charity Party. Who could want him dead, his wife who is cheating on him maybe someone that he's been cheating on, the lawyers that work for him, others invited to the charity party or someone else entirely, he's not a nice man!
This book wraps up the last 7 books nicely. And it takes the reader down Emma Memory Lane in the process. For those of us who have read from book 1, it was an especially fun read, reminding us of so much that has come between book 1 and book 28. And I love the ending!!
Emma is so lucky to have her found family, and even luckier that they help her figure out tough cases. I always look forward to her stories, with all the twists and turns.
I really really live all the Emma Frifgin books in series and can't wait till more come out, I will keep reading as long as you keep writing them. One of the best series.
I have read all 28 of these books and this is definitely a more gruesome story line. The ending however …….. was NOT what I was expecting. All I can say is OH MY GOD!! I can’t wait for 29.
I can't stop reading. Just finished # 28. I l ove Emma! love her being an FBI agent! Start at the beginning & enjoy all the stories!. such a great author! Suspense, love, drama.. you have to reading!.
I love the Emma Griffin series and her expanding family. It's also woven into the plot and the story villains. Just from different angles, and that is great writing. I just hope for no more Feathered Nest episodes or adventures. Please, no.
Every page I turned I was hoping Emma will remember who the lady was. But I didn’t think the person would be Noelle just wow! From all the people Noelle killed to have Emma remember who she is
Some may fine the references to prior books irritating; some may see it as masterful. The mastermind behind Emma's stalkers carries a grudge. Unfortunately, she doesn't care who gets killed.
Every character, every relationship, is explored and explained. As usual, I’d have loved a couple more chapters in the wrap-up, but this one ties up with a bow, with no holes in the wrapper.
That's three for three in excellence. You have outdone yourself with these last three installments! I'm so looking forward to the next series. As per usual, the next is qued up and ready to read! Thank you, Ms. Rivers! 👍💖👍
The last page is the one that stands out to me about the whole book. Xavier had his "person," but that doesn't mean it was the only one. We all have a "person" and each one is special and different in some way.
An excellent thought provoking story. On the ede of tying to figure out what happened, who did what and why. AJ rivers no matter what your writing inspires me and intrigues me. Thank you
This was great story about Emma and something that happen in her past somebody wants her to remember. This story had lots of suspense and action. Thank you for this marvelous story.
I love this series. I will be sad if it ever ends. It has remained intriguing, interesting, and well-written from the first book in the series. Never disappoints
