What do you think?

Echoes of Yesterday
On Christmas Eve, one year after a terrible tragedy, Ella Marlowe discovers an antique Christmas ornament that holds impossible magic—the power to transport her through time to colonial America. As Ella adapts to life in the past, she slowly finds herself falling for the handsome town blacksmith, James Hawthorne.
When Ella discovers the secret behind the ornament, she faces an agonizing choice. Should she return to her modern life and grief, or stay in the past with James and a new love she never expected? Either way, Ella knows the impossible decision she holds in her hands is as fragile as the delicate glass ornament.

She lives in the mountains of North Carolina, has always been a reader, and is overly fond of sparkly flip flops and pretty pens. Though now that she lives in the mountains she’s going to have to find fabulous boots, mittens, and hats!

Years ago I would never read time travel novels. They just didn’t click with me. Until I read one by CL and I’ve been hooked ever since. A breathtaking story with lovable characters I’ll be thinking about for awhile. Many thanks to the author for this copy for read and review

I Love time travel books! This book is a lovely cozy time travel book. It has charming characters, romance (no sex), pre revolutionary action (no graphic violence), and no cliffhanger ending.
While it does dwell too long on her grief over the loss of her husband and daughter in the beginning before she travels through time, it is still quite good.
Time travel books do always leave me wondering what people in current time think when the traveler just up and disappears. Like Ella does….when she hears her mother-in-law calling her. Could this be the answer to the missing people who are never found? Hmmmm….Something to ponder.

I always enjoy a good time travel romance and Ms. Luhrs books never disappoint. This one was set in pre colonial America and the traveler has knowledge of what’s to come in the future. This provides an interesting perspective. I enjoyed the book and recommend picking up a copy.

Loved the premise but I was not a fan of her writing in this novel. Also, I really wish she would use more adjectives besides palpable.

GREAT
Wonderful story kept me on the edge of my seat. Very hard to put down, and the ending was totally unexpected.
