What a fantastic ending to this trilogy. The love and sacrifice that Marilynn and her 5 demons have for Sayvn, I just have no words. For me this book was so emotional. The glimpses that Jesi writes for all the characters made me feel like I was right there with them. I would love to see a bonus novella or something about Sayvn and the others to see where they are at after 20 years or so just to get another glimpse into their lives and how Sayvn's powers grew.

I had a hard time with this series. This book seemed to drag the most for me. I also couldn’t like the men because I feel they were rapists and I couldn’t respect Marilyn because she forgave them everything cause they “changed” in one night. Not for me.
I really liked the book, characters and the world. But there are a few things as to why I only rated 4, I’d probably do a 3 1/2 if I could. First of you are going to have MM please disclose it, I will say this is the only kind of MM I like where it’s just sexual not really a relationship, but still I will forever feel when MM Is in a book the FMC is just really a side piece to the men. Secondly, I didn’t feel any real live or feelings just all the sudden they love each other, it’s feels more they are with her because they feel obligated. There is no hugging or affectionate all between them only the MM characters, literally only 2 sec scenes through the whole series, 3 if you count the MM scene which I do hate when it doesn’t involve the FMC just the 2 men. Lastly, for it being 3 books the ending felt rushed and the epilogue didn’t really give any picture of the future. All in all it was a good series. But as someone who reads over 200 books a year I definitely know what I like and don’t like.
"The Devil doesn't come dressed in a red cape and pointy horns; he comes as everything you've ever wished for." pg. 6 book 1
**Review Shared for Series*
These books were interesting. The storyline was definitely unique and I had been dying to read a reverse harem where the fmc is pregnant ON PAGE and the guys actually know about it.
The books themselves are pretty short, less than 200 pages in each. So it was a pretty quick trilogy. The whole premise of the series is the fact that a witch got pregnant by demons which is outlawed. The first book is essentially the guys bullying her, the second is them being in jail for her being pregnant, and the third is her going through the rough pregnancy. Although short and to the point, it was pretty intriguing. The world building was decent. The plot was not only unique but interesting. The character development was also surprisingly decent despite the shortness of the books.
I am only giving three stars because it just felt like something was missing despite all that. It was probably due to the length, or maybe it was that everything seemed to happen so fast, but I was just left wanting by the end of the third book. We do get a happy ending but like I said, I just felt like there could have been so much more to it.
Also, can we talk about the fact that one of the mmc's had been LITERALLY THROWING her across rooms before they knew she was pregnant? And there was like not only no groveling for how crappy he treated her, but also it wasn't mentioned how he literally had put her and the baby at risk without realizing it.
Also in the second book Mercer goes to the asylum and "meets" the guys (pg. 85). But they were all in court together a few days earlier....
This was much like the last because of its shorter nature. The story happens quickly but doesn't get far. So here is my critiques: with the books being on the shorter side we don't get a ton of character development along with not getting super far with the story. I also felt that while the relationship between the character progressed there wasn't really a build up, it was just wishy washy and then they loved each other. Also with all the drama with the council it seemed all it took was some blackmail to get them to change their tune which just seemed in bad taste I guess to me. It worked, but it was a little weird I guess. The labor and everything was pretty gritty and exciting to read. However the epilogue just seemed like no one knew what they wanted to be, which is fine, but it just seemed open ended. I think overall the story has potential and isn't bad but I wish there was just a little more to it. If your looking for a paranormal reverse harem read with drama, academy bullying, pregnancy\birth, low steam, and a hfn this is for you.
The plot doesn’t progress much after book one. This entire novel is set in the hospital. We don’t get much of a satisfactory ending to these character’s fates. The whole thing felt so unsatisfying.
Marilyn as a MC barely does ANYTHING to progress the plot which makes her so hard to root for.
The politics pieces could have been interesting but they were rushed. Actually, this whole book felt rushed.
If you rewrote this book: but instead of a RH with 5 men, only included one of them (ie Zeph).. and then put books two and three into the same book… and then had the third book be raising the kid and fighting the government.. and include more magical elements and moving pieces.. THEN you’d have a decent series. But you lean into the five men SO MUCH just to not be able to develop them and their relationship enough? It was unfortunate.
No spice in this one though. Thank god, it probs would have been disturbing.
Overall, I didn’t love it but I’m glad to have another completed series checked off for the year.
I can’t tell if I am happy that I finished this book/series or mad that I finished. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed this series. It was more about the world and politics of having a half breed child in a world where it is unacceptable for a demon and witch to be together let alone have a child. I found that there are some correlations between this and what is going on in the world right now. I’m not sure how to truly feel about this book because like I said it was more about politics than it was about the story up until this point and I get that. In their world it is frowned upon but I am disappointed in this book. I expected more maybe less about politics and more about the relationship between Marilynn and her guys. There was not a trace of spice in this book, another thing I was disappointed in. Politics politics politics.. no relationship development especially between Nicodemous and Vale.
Jesi Donovan’s 3 rd book of the series ‘Bellevue Medical’ picks up with Marilyn’s health emergency and Dr Hearst response. Marilyn and her demon harem are fighting to save their unborn biracial son: both physically and for other biracial children. Vale, Nicodemus, Zephyrus, Slade, and Ares love Marilyn and their son: giving their blood to her is helping their son but hurting her.
Jesi has written a conclusion to this epic saga that conveys the intense emotions of an at risk pregnancy, the toll it takes on everyone, and how resilient Marilyn is with her demons’s and father’s support. Poignant, powerful, and beautifully crafted narrative and dialogue that illustrates the courage, commitment, and determination of this young family. Loved it!.

The story was really intriguing as I said on the review from the first book, and again it was so nice to see a different approach on RH that it made me stick to story until the end.
The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because we have 90% of the book about the last month of her pregnancy and it very very very slow paced and we have a very short epilogue. I would’ve love a bigger epilogue where we get a glimpse of Sayvn’s future to see what it would be like.
I really hope we get another whole series about him. That would be the dream about this series.
Otherwise I really loved the story. I wasn’t expecting much since I only bought the 1st book because it was free on Stuff your kindle day, but it really was more than I could’ve expected.
The third book in the series brings all things to an end. Marylin and her men have been through so much together, fighting for their family, baby and in the end for all mothers rights. It has not been easy for them but they have prevailed and grown stronger together. Their hate for one another in the beginning has turned into pure love. Marylin’s dad comes around to be a supportive addition to her harem. Not to mention her love / hate relationship with her roommate Lilith. HEA are the best.

This ending was good. I felt like the book was a bit rushed at the end. There's barely steam and focused more on the concept and the story behind writing this story. There's lots of emotions and points that make total sense that I wholeheartedly agree with. There is so much trauma, love, and emotion being written in this 3 book series. You can feel the emotions as you read. The ending could use some work with the epilogue. A happier or smuttier epilogue. This was a great read.
Bellevvue Medical, the third book of the Blackwood Five series, is an ebook I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). For an academy themed story, there is very little academy and a whole lot of drama. I found this third book to have lost some of the momentum and relationship building I had expected over the course of three books. This ending was okay, but there was potential to really strengthen the final chapters..
I mean... it happened. Idk, this was a 2.5⭐️ series for me. Not so bad to be a 2 but it doesnt really deserve a three which to me means "I liked it but nothing special or amazing about it" whereas this, I didnt dislike it but I cant really say I liked it. I felt like it was a bit of a cop out with their solution to wanting to change the laws, and there wasnt much true relationship building outside of "we're having a baby so now we're together" which is the worst reason to be together.
This book had no spice which was a bummer. We also never really get a conclusion about the 2 MMCs that were hooking up. The book mentions them holding hands but that’s it. Pretty lame tbh. The story also just kind of ends after the FMC gives birth. I wish the epilogue rounded things out better than it did but oh well.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This story doesn't have any steam so don't get your hopes up. The girl is miserable and preggo the entire time. Things get tied up in this as the main focus is figuring out how to keep the baby and the gang together
It all comes together in the end but just felt a little lackluster when it was all said and done.

I definitely loved this series and am still rating it 5 stars but I will say I am disappointed about the ending. I wish we received a little more about the after instead of a rushed epilogue. We could’ve received a fourth book that let us see some of the struggles and achievements for when he was born. But all in all it was a great series.
I feel robbed because I want to see Savyn's future.. I want to see how Marilyn and dads changed the world for him. I want to see Lilith be the auntie. I would like more please.
*sigh* I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but there was no significant character development or relationship building, and it pissed me off because this book had so much potential.
I did, however, like the birthing scene because, as I said in previous reviews, I'm here for Savyn 🖤
The guys really stepped up. I have to give them that. Her father as well. Some reform, some tears. Would have loved an answer on how Saven character would be.
I have said this many times before. We need a .5 option. Or less. Hated this series. It started off with an interesting concept then died a painful death. I would NOT recommend this to my friends. But hey, what I hate, someone out there will love, right?
I knew he was a shady duck but I wish karma would’ve slapped the taste out of his mouth. Her mom is an evil C*** and I wish something truly horrible happened to her. The ending was good I just wish it was longer.
Abrupt ending and no spice ☹️ how can you have 5 baby daddies and no spice!? The drama was a bit too dragged out and then it was just all over in like 10 pages. Would have liked a bit more of a skip forward besides the boys are doing things and I'm doing thing cool 😎 end of story
This is the third and final book in Jesi Donovan’s The Blackwood Five series. This book has a HEA but I won’t go into specifics cause of spoilers. Definite must read
