Clara and her guys (Walker, Jansen, RJ and Trips) are back, and the heist continues. I love how these four characters come together and how Clara has her own relationship with each one.

In Book 2 I felt we focused more on her relationship with Walker, the master forger and true artist. Walker has so many insecurities and it almost destroys his relationship with Clara. Clara is the best thing for him, and I was glad to see him grow throughout the book.

RJ is a total cinnamon roll (he is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy). Jansen is a playful flirt and response so beautifully to Clara. Trips, complete alphahole, and blows hot and then cold with Clara. My gut is telling me that when he decides to let him fully fall, he is going to fall hard.

This why choose romance does have a lot of smexy times, but it’s the action and the relationship development I really enjoyed. I hope each guy gets his own story with Clara like Walker did.

If you have not read this author, I highly recommend her stories. You will need to read Book 1 of this series to fully appreciate the relationships and the job they are working in Book 2.

The second installment of this series was good albeit a step down from the first. The typical hijinks I’ve come to expect from the crew took a step back and miscommunication and sex took a step forward. Miscommunication is arguably my least favorite trope, but it made sense in the context of the story and the character’s feelings. The sex, however, felt rushed and, oddly enough, disappointing since the plot has so much intrigue.

I don’t personally have any triggers (just stuff I don’t want to read), but I’d like to see a dedicated trigger warning section in future books that does not instruct you to the author’s website. Especially since on-page attempted rape/sexual assault is quite a serious trigger.

Loved the characters! This is book two to a longer series so might wanna read book one first.

In book two you see the characterization progress nicely, the development in the romance is a nice slow-medium burn.

Jansen is the typical flirt. Walker is the one with lots of issues, boy needs to go to therapy. Rj is a sweetheart and a bit spicy.
Trips is just a pain in my opinion but hey lots of people like the hot and cold.

I just love Clara. She is such an amazing character. She has grown so much since the first book and she keeps finding out who she is. I was not expecting the major twist at the end of the book. I'm excited for the next book in the series.

I am OBSESSED!!!

This is book 2 in the Brazen Boys series and is a dark why choose romance.

In this one, we get more relationship building between Clara, Trips, Jansen, and RJ and I absolutely love them all so much! We also get the action scenes and the spicy scenes are 🔥!!!

I can not wait for more in this series!!!

I thought the first book was a lot better.

The heist could have been a bit more involved, seemed too easy to get out of.

The romance for the most part was ok, but went a smidge too graphic.

That being said, I will probably read the next in the series.

Everything is coming to a head, the interdynamics of the group, family relationships, art heist. Plans are changed on the fly and secrets revealed. Recommend reading the series in order.

Great addition!
Brazen Deceits, did not disappoint!
I think the series keeps getting better!
Filled with action, some spice, emotions and more.
I continue to love Clara.
We get to see some relationship growth in a few of our characters as well as between each other.
I can't wait for book 3!!
