Truth And Temptation, Dogwood Cove series book four, by Julia Jarrett, is unputdownable.
It is an opposites attract/mistaken identity story written in 1st person, dual POV.
For the second time in a row, the cover models look exactly like the MCs, and it was their faces I saw throughout the whole book.
I have never read a character like Page. She is unique, quirky, says what she thinks, and talks in book language.
Wyatt was so sweet, but he was in so much pain. A pain that I recognized, but many others will too. I wanted to help him so badly, it was frustrating.
Wyatt and Page needed some time to get on the same level, but they were so in tune once they did. They had this unique chemistry and understood each other on a deep level. They made me laugh, cry, and swoon.
Page wasn't a virgin but very inexperienced in the bedroom. It was so much fun to see her explore her sexual side. I loved that she asked what she wanted and that Wyatt was respectful and understanding of her. His dirty talking mouth certainly did also help.
Julia Jarrett wrote a story that is easy to read and realistic. I effortlessly could imagine it happening, and the situation the characters go through, and their emotions are relatable.
Every aspect of the story is perfectly balanced out, and nothing is overdone or too much.
Truth And Temptation is a story that will make you smile and cry but will leave you with a full heart. I love it and recommend it to all contemporary romance lovers.
I received an ARC from the author but am voluntarily leaving this review.
