M.R. Forbes is the author of a growing number of science-fiction series including Rebellion, War Eternal, Chaos of the Covenant, Stars End, and the Forgotten novels. Having spent his childhood trying to read every sci-fi novel he could find (and write his own too), play every sci-fi video game he could get his hands on, and see every sci-fi movie that made it into the theater, he has a true love of the genre across every medium. He works hard to bring that same energy to his own stories, with a continuing goal to entertain, delight, fascinate, and surprise.
He maintains a true appreciation for his readers and is always happy to hear from them.

You simply amaze me with your writing. You ensnare me everytime. I feel as if I am a mute invisible crewmember of headcase. I just hope Ben receives the boon cause he deserves so much to be heald. Even with the 3 new mains I still gravitate towards Ben. I can really relate to having to step to the side and let others step up and take the lead. That's a hard pill to swallow. The wanting to help and the inability to do so is a torture in itself. I just glad he's not alone this time. I'm curious to see where this story leads next....
This exciting series is no slack compared to the first series. I don't think you need to read the first series to enjoy this one, but book two continues book one, so you should read this series in order. I love the interplay and personal growth of all the characters. The sci-fi might not be hard science fiction, but it is really fun. I highly recommend M.R. Forbes's works because he's very talented!
This is an enjoyable, creative series. I found it engrossing and hard to put down. It's not hard sci-fi. It's part of a story of gamers stuck in a situation that resembles a game. The author created a believable world and set of characters. Have fun!
While Tyler keeps the excitement going Noah keeps the adventure real. Ben is no longer the one leading the charge while Matt is still keeping things in perspective.
