First off I want to say how proud I am of this woman! she knows how to write an emotional book without crippling you and breaking you down. yes, you cry and laugh in this book, yes there are sad moments and very good moments. But it does not emotionally wreck you. I love this woman and her books. She puts so much of herself and feelings into her books and characters. She is amazing and so are her stories. Abandon is probably my favorite so far (sorry Luke, you know I love you boo). I loved Tristan and Senia in the Shattered hearts series( PS- this is a stand alone and you can read it WITHOUT reading the Shattered hearts series, BUT IF you want to maybe get some background on Tristan, Senia, Chris, Claire, etc, it may be best to read those first. You may have a few questions or interests after reading this, so I highly recommend it and plus, they're amazing!)
Tristan is a damaged man, what he had to go through as a child no person should EVER have to go though. It was truly heart breaking. Him and Senia had a weird relationship for quite some time from the Shattered series. He is Chris's best friend and Senia is Claires. Tristan and Senia are HILARIOUS as a couple and they have so much fun. I love these two. It also helps Tristan is hot as f***!! the words that come outta his mouth are both amusing and sexy as sin. Make sure you have an extra set of panties lying around. These two had one crazy night at Yogurtland and a little while later a little surprise happens. Tristan has to learn new ways of doing things for himself, Senia, their life. Throughout the book he struggles with his demons and secrets and where he fits as a man and boyfriend. There are many struggles throughout this book for him, Senia, Molly, grandma, everyone. It takes you on a roller coaster of highs and lows. Ups and downs. Can Tristan and Senia have a HEA? can he let go of his ways?

You will have to read to find out. This is all I can give you until it is out. Trust me, it is AMAZING and you will want to read it. I am so proud of this book, Cassia, Tristan, Senia. I just love this book to pieces and I know ALL of you are going to love it ,especially the ones that read the Shattered series. You for sure will appreciate this story of love, loss, moving forward and hope.

Some quotes I love:

"Because you're turning me on and I can't f*** you in Yogurtland."

"Am I Jesus Christ or Tristan?"

"I was going to break out the whips tonight."

"This condo doesn't have a steam room. besides, I'd rather steam up this room."

"My only wish is that the ones I love never feel the need to abandon hope."

"What am I going to do with you? You always know what to say. You're always outsmarting me."

"You have no choice. You're stuck with me, for worse or for worse."

"I can't promise that. What happened outside Yogurtland was one of the smartest mistakes I've made in a long time. I hope I get to make those kind of mistakes with you for... forever."

"So, I'm sorry that I don't know what to say. But if there's anything I can do, I'm all yours."

"Are you ready to have your world turned inside out?"

"Then bare your f***-ing soul. Give her something that will only mean something to the two of you."

"You can't stand in my grandmothers kitchen, in that apron, barking orders at me, carrying my child, and not expect me to want to touch you. You can't expect me to not feel like I have some... claim on you."

"Thank you, Mrs. Pollock, for giving me a place to celebrate Christmas where I can be myself."

"Better to live life than watch from the sidelines."

"Next time you want to play hide-and-seek, call Chris

"Move in with me. Let me take care of you."

"I see the way you're looking at me. You don't just want my golden egg. You want the whole goose. You.Like.Me."

"Your humor only turns me on even more."

"Yes. If you want to keep it, so do I."

"You should put on an apron. I'm sure you'll catch some girls if you post a photograph of that on the Facebook."

4.5 FANTASTIC stars!!!

Love Tristan so much more than I ever thought I would! In the other previous books, you just want to love to hate him! But, he's scarred. Tainted. No one knows his past. He's just trying to do the right thing when it comes to his family. And, when he meets Senia, she just empowers him to be a better man, which is not normal for him. No way is he a one-woman man! This is so f**ked up! He doesn't give a shit what women think of him! But, she makes him whole. He wants to be the one that she can be proud of. And, when things get somewhat out of control when it comes to his mom, he's there with confidence, heart and soul. He's a survivor and will do anything for those he loves. Such a heartfelt story with emotion and tears. The story is mostly narrated in his POV, and it's amazing! The women in his life are passionate and loyal. They love him even with all his faults. Tristan is definitely a favorite of mine in this series!

So, now I'm onto the last published book of the series, Chasing Abby. Can't wait to see what happens next!

You can't let your past define your future.

Oh how I love Cassia Leo's stories as well as her writing. They are emotional, funny, realistic and heartwarming.

While you can read Abandon without reading the Shattered Hearts series, I recommend reading the series so you will be able to meet all the characters that are in Abandon. This is Senia and Tristan's story.

Two people who couldn't be more perfect for one another.

The day our wires crossed, You were broken, I was lost.

Tristan is Chris's best friend and Senia is Claire's best friend. After a few failed attempts over the years they have finally had their tryst. There has always been an attraction there because lets face it these two are extremely sexy.

Tristan is your typical player but I must say Senia handles everything about him so well and vice versa. I adored Tristan and as always I wanted to know more about him. He and his sister, Molly, were raised by their grandmother. Needless to say you will learn as I did that Tristan's mother is a poor excuse for a mother and she put a bad taste in my mouth.

There is so much emotion in this story and honestly not much that I can say without giving something away. There are obstacles that Senia and Tristan face but it is wonderful to see how they work through them. The chemistry that they have is clearly evident and the compatibility so strong.

"Are you ready to be fucked?" I whisper as I move down to kiss her neck. "She throws her head back and lets out a throaty laugh that's sexy as hell. "Oh, Tristan." "What?" She smiles as she traces her finger along my jawline, then she looks me in the eye. "Are you ready to have your world turned inside out?".

We also see that Senia is such a beautiful person too. She was a favorite character of mine before but even more so now.

So what obstacles do these two face? What will their future be like? Everyone has a past and secrets right? So what are they and will they come out?

This is a quick read and the story moves between the past and the present. I laughed and I cried. I highly recommend it and I look forward to all Cassia's books and maybe Molly will get her own story one day.

Abandon is a spin off of the Shattered Hearts Series by Cassia Leo. This story focuses on Tristan and Senia and is told mainly in Tristan’s point of view. Throughout the first three books in this series we get to briefly meet Tristan and know him as an easygoing player rockstar.

Reading Abandon, we realize Tristan is a totally different guy than what we considered him before. Once we see what he’s hiding under his tough guy act, we get to know and see Tristan for who he really is, and we learn his secrets from when he was a young boy. What Tristan endeared was truly heartbreaking. We learn so much from why Tristan is a womanizer to his love he has for Grandma Flo and Molly. We also learn how his Friendship with Chris Knight may have just saved his life.

But Tristan’s life is turned upside down after his run in with Siena at Yogertland.

“I can’t promise that. What happened outside of Yogurtland was one of the smartest mistakes I’ve made in a long time. I hope i get to make those kind of mistakes with you…. forever. “

Tristan also gets some really horrible news that is going to change everything for everyone important in his life. Now Tristan has to decide what he’s going to do: run or do the right thing.

“My only wish is that the ones I love never feel the need to abandon hope.”

Abandon is about growth, acceptance, trust, and true love. This is one story we will never forget!

“I think I’m finally starting to realize that love isn’t about fixing things or people. It’s about sticking around when things can’t be fixed.”

We give ABANDON 5 + STARS. Tristan is AMAZING and sexy as He** and trust us, you will not regret picking up this book.

Cassia Leo is an amazing author who can bring her characters to life, and she has done it again with Abandon. This is Tristans story, who is a bit of a player with the ladies , we go on a journey into his past, were we get to know his mother Elaine. These are heart breaking chapters that will break your heart, but reading these chapters you get to know and understand Tristan that little bit better. Tristan is broken and he doesn't let too many people get close to him, but then there is Senia who is just beautiful and when her and Tristan are in the same room, well lets just say it sizzles and sparks fly, she is just what Tristan needs. I love the banter between these two, they are so funny together, and the sex scenes with these two, is just hot . You also get to meet Grandma Flo who is adorable and quite witty, I just loved her to pieces, and then there is Molly who is Tristans sister who he adores and would do anything for her. This story is beautifully written, and I would highly recommend, just make sure you have those tissues ready 10/10

What an adorable novella, this is one of the cutest side stories I've read. I wish they had their own full story.

I loved Seina and Tristan from the mention of them in the third book. For me they were just adorable. It was obvious from the start that Tristan was falling for Seina but their story through out was cute. Don't get misled by my words. Theirs is not sugary sweet, not even sweet as Chris and Claire and we all know that their wasn't a sweet ride. Seina and Tristan don't actually start of as lovers but along the way they fall for each other in the most adorable way. Not sweet. Tristan doesn't do sweet but nonetheless they are cute.

As usual the epilogue gave me butterflies. So happy they got their happily ever after too.

I love this series and was a little apprehensive to read this because Tristan was a jerk in the beginning of the series, but I am so glad I did. After reading his story I feel like I understand him and he has moved into the rank of one of my favorite book boyfriends (watch out Senia, LOL). Thanks for giving us Tristan and Senia's story, it was the perfect mix of tears, laughter and heat! Can not wait for more!

Arc Provided in exchange for an honest Review via Netgalley - thank you.

I must say I thought the writing was good and the storyline had a good premise. I struggled and ultimately gave up because I felt there were too many things going on and quite a few characters introduced, it all got a bit confusing.

I couldn’t wait to read Tristan’s story and I have to say his was the saddest story from all the guys. No wonder he is the way he is, until Senia cracked down his walls little by little. He isn’t the arrogant and mean person that we have read about in the past books. There is so much more to him.

“… love isn’t about fixing things or people. It’s about sticking around when things can’t be fixed.”

Sometimes the scars that we carry from our pasts mark us, block us, define us for the rest of our lives, and sometimes all we need is one little push to set us on a course of self-acceptance and absolution. This is a story of one such journey, a story of a man trapped in a self-deploring cycle of bad decisions and utter disregard for the consequences of his actions, and ultimately, his escape from the demons of his past.

“You can’t let your past define your future.”

Tristan is a musician, a womanizer, a man who takes playing the field to a whole new level, his frequent but short-lived conquests of nameless swooning women being the only way he allows himself to “date”. He seduces but then quickly loses interest in the women he beds, the idea of committing to the one woman never even crossing his mind. Until an irresistible dark-haired firecracker rocks his world in the back seat of his car and life as he knows it forever changes after that.

For a man whose confidence and
magnetism have helped him seduce too many women to count into sharing
his bed, there has been only one woman who has escaped from becoming another notch on his bedpost – a woman whose own confidence and straightforwardness have made her truly irresistible in his eyes. Senia is sassy, direct, brave and generous with her heart, and from the moment she meets Tristan, she does not hide her interest in him. But Senia does not play games or hesitate to go after the object of her desire, taking the first step in a one-time hook-up that ends up being everything but casual for both of them.

“In the span of just a few weeks, I’ve gone from kicking girls out of my house to lovingly tucking them into the bed in my guest room.”

As they carefully and somewhat reluctantly tread the waters of faithfulness and commitment, long-buried secrets from Tristan’s past fight to resurface, forcing him to confront his demons and trust the ones he loves not to judge him for his past mistakes. As Tristan’s past and present collide, we watch a brave young man fight for the safety and happiness of his family, and to be worthy of the only woman he has ever truly loved.

However, as much as I adored these characters and felt that I even somewhat knew them already, I had hoped to get a much deeper insight into them than what this book offered me. I felt that crucial parts of their character development, as well as the evolution of the connection between them, were sacrificed for the advancement of the story itself, leaving voids that only an insta-love scenario could fill. Furthermore, a few very important moments in the story were simply brushed over rather than capitalised on, while others were hurried when they could have enriched the story immensely. I enjoyed every part of this book, I truly did, but I desperately wanted more. More depth. More content. More reasons to fall even more in love with two characters whose story I have been waiting to hear from the very first time they appeared in the series and almost stole the show.

If you’re a die-hard fan of the Shattered Hearts series like me or simply looking for a quick feel-good type of read about two characters who, in my opinion, deserved an entire series of their own, look no further. Tristan and Senia are on fire, their chemistry is off the charts and their story is unexpected and simply beautiful.

“You can’t expect me to not feel like I have some … claim on you.”

OMFG! 6 AMAZING HEA stars for Abandon. Tristan is so hot . .

I will be honest, I didn't like Tristan when I read "Relentless', Pieces of You and 'Bring me home'. I didn't hate him, but didn't like him. I judged him before getting to know him. Maybe Claire's fault. LOL Now, I'm totally in love with him. Now I understand the way he is. I did suffer and cried reading his story.

5+++++ STARS LOVED THIS STORY

Cassia Leo has once again given us a story that profoundly affected me emotionally. I went through every emotion during the course of this story and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of Tristan’s story.

Tristan lives up to the brooding musician persona but there is so much more to him than meets the eye. Beneath Tristan’s abrasive exterior is a lost soul whose world is suddenly interrupted with a few significant events. He is a boy who had his childhood torn from him by the very person who is supposed to love you unconditionally and keep you safe from the cruelties of the world, his mother. Tristan is angry and wants nothing more than to forget the despicable memories she left in her wake. But he is forced to face them head on as his world seemingly begins to crumble.

My heart hurt for the childhood that was taken from Tristan and the memories he carries with him. I was grateful Tristan’s grandmother was present in his life. She was more of a mother to Tristan than the woman who gave birth to him, and every child deserves to feel love that is unconditional and pure.

Tristan melted my heart with the love he had for both his grandmother and his sister, Molly. He wanted to be the man of the house at a time when he should have been a boy living a carefree childhood. Instead, he was trying to earn money however he could, regardless of the possible consequences. Elaine, Tristan’s birth mother, exploited his desire to take care of his grandmother and Molly in the most despicable manner. I wanted to strangle Elaine and I believe there is a special place in hell for people like her.

I never thought that Tristan would be such a worrier when it came to Senia, but he surprised me, yet again. I enjoyed the way things unfolded with them. The connection was so much more than just chemistry and sexual tension and it was great to see Tristan and Senia succumb to the feelings they stirred in each other.

My heart broke for the tragedy that came to Tristan's world. My heart soared for the moments of pure joy and pure love that came to Tristan's world. You will not be disappointed with Tristan's story. <3

All I have to say is Cassia Leo did it again with an amazing book in the Shattered Hearts series and I loved this series If you loved the Shattered Hearts Series then you will most likely love this book as well and we get to see how Chris and Claire react when they find out Tristan and Senia love each other since they were trying to keep Tristan away from Senia because he uses women as toys.

"My only wish is that the ones I love never feel the need to abandon hope." ~Tristan

In Abandon we get a better look between Tristan and Senia's so called "relationship" you have to read the books in order to understand more of how Tristan and Senia met. I really liked this book because it was mainly Tristan's pov with some of Senia's pic and I like how the author went to Tristan's past as he remembered when he we was young and all the things he did just to support his grandma and sister even though it was a horrible choice that His Mother Elaine made him do. We get to understand why Tristan is the way he is and why he always sleeps with girls and throws them out the next day until he sees Senia as something more than just his toy. Throughout the 3 years that they have known each other and only made out and never took it to the next level Senia and Tristan begin to have feelings for each other when they accidentally "hook-up" outside of Yogurtland lol. Next thing you know Senia and Tristan are stuck with each other(not giving away spoilers) and have to make decisions in order to keep on going no matter what Tristan thinks of himself as always being a player so he abandons his player ways for the sake of being with Senia since they both love each other awww!
~I want her to know the darkest parts of me, because those are the parts that will make her want to leave.

"I always thought that if anyone knew the truth, if anyone knew the real me, and the things I'm capable of, no one would love me, and what's the point of letting someone fall in love with a lie. So it was easy-I never fell in love and I never spoke to anyone about it I never had a reason to.But you give me so many reasons to do things I never thought I could do. I just want to be better for you. I want to be better in your eyes."

Let me start by saying that Abandon (Shattered Hearts, 3.5) by Cassia Leo can be read as a stand-alone. I would definitely recommend reading her Shattered Heart series first, however. Not just because the characters in Abandon are recurring throughout the series, but also because the whole series is freaking fantastic!

Abandon is Tristan and Senia's story. Senia is best friends with Claire, and Tristan is Chris's best friend and bandmate. If you've read the series, you know Senia is a woman who doesn't bite her tongue or hold back. Tristan is the stereotypical rock star. A ladies man, cocky, hot, and somewhat of a mystery. Their attraction was instantaneous, along with the voice in their heads screaming danger ahead.

I loved this spin off. Senia was always one of my favorite characters. She was a breath of fresh air. From a huge family, she was fiercely independent, smart, driven and fun. I hated her being with Eddie during the series. I was so excited when I read the buzz about her and Tristan.

I expected the steam and the tension between these two, but what I didn't expect was the emotional story surrounding each. Tristan's backstory broke my heart. I don't think I have ever despised a character like I did his mother, Elaine. She was the epitomy of evil! The fact that Tristan wasn't completely broken was a testament to his sweet grandmother.

I loved that I also got to get glimpses of scenes from the series from another view. The weddings of his bandmates, the trauma of losing Abby and a couple more were so well incorporated. The whole story flowed effortlessly.

Let me warn you...have tissues at the ready. One part in particular is gut wrenching. It's raw and written in a way that makes you feel you are right in the room with them. Senia's strength shines and her capacity to love evident.

The epilogue is awesome and wraps up the series perfectly. I have to say that after I finished, all I could think was that I wanted Molly's story next. I want to see how she turns out and who she falls in love with.

If you are a fan of the Shattered Hearts series, Abandon (Shattered Hearts, 3.5) is a must! It's a 4-Hooker read filled with smoking sex and emotion galore!

While my surprise at falling in absolute love and lust with Tristan during the reading of "Abandon" still delights me; I'm just shaking my head laughing thinking how it could have gone given my expectations of him. That is the beauty and wonder of a well-written story by the tremendously talented story crafter, Cassia Leo. Pure and simple, her ability to delve deep and create such rich back-story allowed for the transformation.

I don't see this as 3.5 to "Shattered Hearts", a series that had me ugly crying and switching teams throughout the books; I see it as #1 in its own right and merit (maybe Jaded Hearts). Another sign that the author wove an intricate, heart-wrenching tale that had my knickers twisted more than once.

I'm even more shocked that of all the leads, I think Tristan is now my favorite. I was resolutely Team Adam, then couldn't get over the history with Chris and now the smart ass best friend comes and steals everyone's thunder with his own story. Senia proved a great match for him and it's someone I can buy keeping his interest and being a fun challenge. It's not his seeming inability to love or care, it's his fear and distrust that obviously shaped his relationships and hookups after Ashley. Given his history, it becomes easy to understand why he acts the way he does. It was a nice touch to ground him with Grandma and Molly, and throw him into a tailspin with his hideous egg donor, Elaine.

Well-done Cassia Leo. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for a remarkably amazing story that had depth, warmth, angst, heartache, love, lust and I think you may have exponentially increased the sales of frozen yogurt.

If you're a fan of Cassia Leo's Shattered Hearts series, then you will already know who Tristan and Senia are. This is their story.

This is not an easy read at times, as we get glimpses of Tristans life when he was growing up. It's sickening the things he went through and goes to explain his attitude to life now.
He has no one apart from his Gran and young sister to care about him, and therefore he cares about nothing except them. Sometimes even they aren't enough to chase his demons away though and he seeks solace in the bottom of a bottle, along with the woman who catches his eye for the night.

Senia has been a thorn in his side for a while - they have a love hate relationship. They've come close to getting together a few times but something always stopped them, but now after a chance meeting at a late night yoghurt shop they have finally scratched that itch, and it leads to consequences neither of them are ready for.

I really enjoyed seeing a new side to Tristan, I loved how we see parts of the book already read about in Bring Me Home from a different perspective, we still have Chris and Claire there, and the epilogue had me in tears. Brilliant!

I really liked the story of Senia and Tristan. Good lord Tristan. I don't think I will ever be able to look at frozen yogurt again. Just wow. I love that we get the story from their point of view. We get the answers to those tristan questions we had in Chris and Claire's story. Like why he was always giving her the evil eye or something. Now we know. We get to know so much more about Tristan. His background. Which is freaking heartbreaking. His home. His family. His loss. You can't help but like the guy after you read this. Especially after what he does for senia. For them. Even after his loss, he's a bigger man. A better man. I loved it. There was one small thing I didn't like. It seemed like there was a huge jump from tolerating one another to love. But that's about all. I wish it was longer. Does that count? sigh, I know.. but once you read about Tristan, you'll understand why.

Oh how I love a bad boy! Tristan is the exact kind of bad boy I love. He can be a complete jerk but the most caring jerk at times. Tristan and Senia's story was great. It's all I expected it to be and more. Tristan had his work cut our for him when I came to Senia. Learning about Tristan's past and the things he keeps bottled up are heartbreaking. It really makes you change your opinion about him and being a jerk all the time. His relationship with Senia is pure sexiness with heartbreaking moments. I didn't think much about Tristan in the Shattered hearts series but I am soooooo glad I got to know more about the real Tristan and see how he and Senia turned out. He is one sexy, loving, kind, and caring bad ass dude!

I was so excited to read this spinoff book as I absolutely loved the trilogy, Tristan didn't ever stand out to me in the other books as he always seemed like a total jerk but OMG after reading this book and reading what a horrible life he had with a horrendous mother it's no wonder he's like it.

I so enjoyed reading all about Tristan, grandma flo and Molly he looked after them so well and would do anything for his sister to make sure she was safe.

He so deserved to end up happy with senia. This book will have the tears flowing and the laughter rolling a really fantastic book.

Tristan captured my heart in this one, then he and Senia blew me away. They way they pushed and pulled each other was amazing. You could so easily see them grasping for each other in hard times and trying to co ego terms with the hand they were dealt, while trying create a great friendship along the way.

Some moments were so heart breaking, then others were so sweet. This was another great read in this series that add. Whole new look at this extended family universe. Can't wait to see if any of this kids get books too!

This is a spin off of the Shattered hearts series a novella for Tristan and Senia. The story is parallel to Bring Me Home, you'll see what happened to them while Claire and Chris is busy with their own thing. This is quite sgort but it tackles most of everything about Tristan why is he what he is. I love the story, it made me change my mind about him.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. The whole Shattered Hearts series has been amazing, well written, lots of characters and plenty of stories going on all at one time but never does it get confusing. I'm going to read it again! Well done Cassia.

Abandon is Tristan's story and while I'm not usually a huge fan of character spin off books I'm really glad we got this book. The story follows Tristan from the time when he and Senia crossed paths that lead to the pregnancy and how their relationship evolved. You get to see a different side of Tristan as the story shows his relationship with his family and flashes back to parts of his history. Tristan's story is a sad one and I found myself devastated by what he had been through. Knowing his history helps you to understand who he is now and watching his path to becoming the man he is at the end of Chris & Claire's story is heartwarming. And Senia, she's the best so learning more about Tristan made me much happier that they got together.
I will say that the insta-love was a bit off putting. Senia gets pregnant so the move in together and are in love after a few days? That's not realistic. I understand they had previous history and attraction but to go from a lust/hate relationship to love that quickly, come on now....
Overall, I enjoyed this story and feel like it's a great addition to the Shattered Hearts series.
