Covering a multitude of possibilities this book is a very good guide on how to prepare, deal with and move on after anything from flooding to tornadoes to man made disasters. Chapters on important documents, a family meet up plan, assessing damage to your home and medical first aid address what you need to do and know to be prepared.
If I could change anything I would suggest more anecdotal stories - they would really drive home how preparedness or the lack of affects you.
