Omg this set SUCKED

words do not begin to describe how horrible these books are. with the exception of Delicate freakn flower the books are horrible. the writing is lazy, the characters are boring, and the sex scenes barley could be described as erotic but only by the most generous reviews. the only reason it got one star was because of the price. 99¢ is a great deal to discover authors NOT to read.

I'm going to keep adding to this review as I read the books in this set. I will also be posting reviews of each story separately on their own book pages. Also, I was given this set in exchange for an honest review.

All American Wolf by Adriana Hunter: (5 stars) Wow, this is a mystery that kept me guessing. I've not read anything by Adriana before so I am very excited to have discovered a new author whose writing I enjoy this much! This is the first book of the set and is worth the cost just by itself alone! I'm also giving it 5 stars because I just liked it that much. The rest of the stories in this set would have to be pretty bad to pull this rating down.

Charming the Alpha by Liliana Rhodes: (4 stars) I liked this story but it had some issues. While I enjoyed the story line I had problems connecting with the MCs and there was not a lot of chemistry in their interactions other than the sex. I did like the secondary characters in the story and I would like to read the next one in the series to see what happens with them. The author has a good imagination so I would like to see what she comes up with next. (I previously purchased this book)

Change For Me by Lynn Red: (5 stars) Great new ideas in this one and I love, love, love the hero! This author obviously loves the English language. Detailed, intricate scenes were a delight to read and I thoroughly enjoyed going on the ride with these 2 characters. Just so you know the next 2 books in the series are just as good!

Bear King's Curves, (4 stars) Apparently I like werebears and I liked the way this story introduces them. I haven't read a lot of werebear books so I'm not too sure how much in here is original or not, but a lot of it is new to me and that is always a plus when I am reading paranormal books. The heroine doesn't take any flak from anyone, including the hero and she starts out in the book as the 'villein' who is a thief which was quite a change from the usual para book. I will be trying out more of A.T. Mitchell's work as I had fun reading this. (I previously purchased this book)

Delicate Freakin Flower by Eve Langlais: (5 stars) This Freakin' heroine doesn't take any crap from anyone. These 2 alphas are going to have their work cut out for them with many laughs to be had along the way. This has to be the funniest introduction between the H/h of any book I've read so far!! (I previously purchased this book) I caved into temptation and read this one again. I liked it even better the second time around.

The Alpha's Mate by Michelle Fox: Not read yet.

Romancing the Wolf (BBW/Werewolf Romance) by Skye Eagleday: (2 starts) I think part of my problem with this book is that it must have originally been a bunch of little stories. Consequently, there is a lot of repetition. The sex scenes are a little clinical and apparently I don't like this type of Dominatrix story. I did like the Bree part of the stories, but her sister, the dominatrix, was just too over the top for me. I have read Dominatrix stories before and enjoyed them, so it must just be this style of writing I am having problems with. Basically if the story had just been about Bree, it would have gotten 3 stars. If it had just been about her sister it would have gotten 1 star. So I compromised and gave it 2.

Protecting the Pack by Tabitha Conall: Not read yet.

Witchy Wolf by Alexis Dare: Not read yet.

A Change To Bear (Last of the Shape shifters) by A.E. Grace: Not read yet.

Curves for the Lone Alpha by Molly Prince: (4 stars) While the trope/premise of guy wolf meets human gal and instant love ensues is here, there is enough other stuff happening to make it interesting. Way, way too short for the amount of info the author managed to get in here and as stated in other reviews, be aware that it ends with many, many questions not being answered! I seriously can't wait until she gets the next book written and have signed up to be notified as soon as it is published. (I previously purchased this book)

The Alpha Claims A Mate by Georgette St. Clair: (5 stars) This heroine is Sassy with a capital 'S' and the hero isn't too bad himself. This has a lot of very funny moments in it. I like that in a book. There was also a lot of good tension both sexual between the MCs and in the story line. This story also had some new ideas added to the werewolf trope so that made me a happy camper also. All in all, I quite enjoyed this one and would recommend it. (I previously purchased this book)

I received a copy of ‘Fated Mates: The Alpha Shifter Boxed Set’ in return for an honest review. I don’t think any reader will be disappointed in the stories contained within these pages!

‘All American Wolf’ by Adriana Hunter Wow. This is a sexy paranormal romance, and it is also a murder mystery/suspense thriller all rolled into one story. Ms. Hunter has delivered an exciting new twist to the usual paranormal romance story that is action-packed from the first page and full of plot twists and turns that will keep your interest until the last. The characters were ‘real’ with strengths, weaknesses and flaws. The scene descriptions were very detailed and realistic. The plot line kept me second-guessing what might be happening next to the point where I was thrilled when I had gotten it right and even when I hadn’t. I thoroughly enjoyed this well-written story!

‘Charming the Alpha’ by Liliana Rhodes What happens when a tough alpha werewolf meets a sweet, shy, young witch? He gets charmed, of course! This is a very nicely written story that has all the necessary ingredients for a happily ever after – great characters, an action-filled plot line and detailed scene descriptions. It’s hard to go wrong when you have strength and magic on your side to take on the bad guys and break a centuries-old curse. An fast-paced, entertaining read!

‘Change for Me’ by Lynn Red I had already read the three books in this series, but ‘Change for Me’ (book 1) was well worth a second read. This story is a ‘new adult’ paranormal romance, with each book picking up where the last left off. Its fast-paced action and unique storyline mixed with the angst emotions of the MCs make it a must read!

‘Bear King's Curves: A BBW Werebear Shifter Romance’ by A.T. Mitchell Lyla is a thief. Nick is a werebear. How can these two see past their differences to solve past betrayals and find their way to each other? This story actually took me by surprise, in a good way. While I expected to like it, I had not anticipated such a convoluted plot filled with past betrayals that had to be solved. It was very well-written, with detailed descriptions and explanations as well as nicely developed characters and action sequences. This was a thoroughly enjoyable story!

‘Delicate Freakin Flower’ by Eve Langlais I’ve read a number of Ms. Langlais books, but this was my first foray into her ‘Freakin’ series and I absolutely loved it. Her characters are always so full of life, and this story was no exception. Ethan, Javier and Naomi are definitely meant to be together, and the story of how they overcome Naomi’s fears of being in a shifter relationship (even though she is a shifter herself) and the element of danger that spiced up their journey even more, is sweet, poignant, funny and oh, so sexy! I will definitely be reading the rest of the series!

‘The Alpha's Mate’ by Michelle Fox This is the sequel to ‘Bring Her Wolf’, which was like an introduction to ‘The Alpha’s Mate’. I’m very glad I had the opportunity to read this book, as it gave a real story to the two MCs from ‘Bring Her Wolf’ and brought them to life. Ms. Fox did a wonderful job with building the characters of Chloe and Jackson, describing the process of Chloe learning the strengths of her wolf and weaving a plot of intrigue and danger that they had to overcome. It was a well-written story from beginning to end!

‘Romancing the Wolf (BBW/Werewolf Romance)’ by Skye Eagleday A very unique and entertaining story. The characters were intriguing with their individual personality quirks and I always appreciate a changing POV that allows for more in-depth exploration of their thought processes. I loved the MCs, Bree and Mikah. I also really liked the additional ‘scientific’ information that Ms. Eagleday provided about the Supernatural peoples. Overall, this was a very fun and enjoyable story!

‘Protecting the Pack’ by Tabitha Conall This was a neat story all around – a wonderful mix of likeable characters, great plot, action and romance. The MCs, (Alex, Ben and Chris), are great together, each of them bringing their own strengths into their mating. The storyline was very well-written with seamless progress from one scene to the next, building up to the climax. I very much enjoyed this story and will be reading more of Ms. Conall’s works in the future!

‘Witchy Wolf’ by Alexis Dare This book was delightfully intriguing. While at first I wasn’t too sure I would like the heroine, she grew on me, especially after certain details of her past were revealed. Ms. Dare’s writing style weaves a wicked tale that teases with tidbits of information and makes you want more. The characters developed very nicely during the course of the story, and the action and suspense were well detailed. My only problem with this book is that it was left wide open for at least one sequel and now I have to wait for it!

‘A Change To Bear (Last of the Shapeshifters)’ by A.E. Grace This was definitely a different kind of story! The main focus with this one was the MCs. Ms. Grace took great care in developing Liam and Terry – not from the standpoint of explaining their pasts, but more of delving into their psyches to show who they are in the present. This did not detract from the storyline, rather it wove into the plot so subtly that the details were just suddenly there and I realized the clues had been piling up the whole time. The perspective of shifters was also very unique in this story, and no, I won’t spoil it by trying to explain how. A very enjoyable read! Now I have to look for more from this author.

‘Curves for the Lone Alpha’ by Molly Prince Lots of action and intrigue in this story, along with the hot scenes! James has a past filled with horrible memories and secrets that he promised to find the answers to. Carrie just got dumped by her fiancé because was ashamed of her size. Ms. Prince was very careful with how much of the MCs pasts she revealed, but she creatively dropped a ton of clues. I enjoyed the flow of the writing style in this book, and the storyline definitely kept me interested. But now I have to try to be patient until I can read the next book to find out the rest of the story (not my greatest strength!)

‘The Alpha Claims A Mate’ by Georgette St. Clair I’m very glad this book was included in this anthology. Ms. St. Claire has provided a wonderful story with her own unique take on the paranormal, and I really enjoyed it. All of the characters (not just the MCs) were a riot, but in a good way, the plot was nicely twisted and the scene descriptions and action sequences were well-written. That means I now have another author to research!

Rating this was tricky. There was one book in this bundle that was just okay, two that were three stars in my book, and most of them would have received four starts. When you consider all of the awesome shifter books included though, I can't help but give it an overall awesome rating!

If you like shifter books, this bundle is not to be missed!

The stories varied other than the fact that they all had shifters. Some were a little longer than others, they had different animals (wolves, bears, cats). Yummy!

These stories had action, steam, romance, and some had suspense and danger.

I thought most of these books were terrific and the overall bundle was a fabulous collection for a fantastic price!

I received a copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. If you take the average of all my reviews, this box set was a solid 3.5 stars.

All American Wolf by Adriana Hunter: 3 stars
This was largely a police procedural mystery book with some paranormal elements and smut thrown in for good measure. Serena is a cop who finds herself unexpectedly drawn into the world of shifters and caught between two dangerously attractive men. The mystery added a nice twist to a paranormal love triangle story.

Charming the Alpha by Liliana Rhodes: 4 stars
Hannah Crane is a witch who stumbles upon werewolves in the woods one night. Caleb is the pack’s alpha who suddenly finds his one true mate in the most unexpected form. To break Hannah’s curse, the two of them have to unravel the mystery and delve deeper into Hannah’s family’s prejudice against the wolves. This was a fun and unexpected sizzling hot read. There was some scorching chemistry between Caleb and Hannah and a pretty solid setup of the world and its characters. This one had all the things I like about “fated mates” stories.

Change For Me by Lynn Red: 4 stars
Lily just graduated high school and has no clue what she’s going to do with herself. Her future is unwritten and aside from wanting to escape her “middle of nowhere” town, she doesn’t really seem to have many definitive goals. The one thing left undone in her life is getting some closure on her failed relationship with Damon. Damon was the strong silent type who always kept Lily at a distance, thus ending their relationship. Turns out, he’s a werewolf and there’s a lot more trouble brewing than just Lily and Damon’s confusing relationship. There’s a pack war in the works, a tough transition in Damon’s future, and Lily’s future at stake. This story was a little YA, a little adult (with smut), and an overall good read.

Bear King's Curves A BBW Werebear Shifter Romance by A.T. Mitchell: 3 stars
This one was a kinky shifter story, complete with a curvy, Bear shifter hating thief (Lyla) and a conflicted alpha Bear shifter (Nick) drawn together by fate. There was a lot of action, destiny, and sexy times in this one. I liked the interesting spin on the shifter pack dynamic and, of course, when the bad guys get what's coming to them.

The Alpha's Mate by Michelle Fox: 4 stars
This is the second book in a series, but read pretty well on its own. Chloe has just recently mated with Jackson, a wolf next in line to be the alpha. Since he was quite a wolf slut before finding Chloe, there's some female animosity aimed in Chloe's direction. Oh, and she was also a partially shunned member of the pack before Jackson "called her wolf." This read was filled with oodles of women behaving badly towards Chloe and Chloe showing exactly how strong she really is. The series that is tied to this book is definitely worth checking out if this solid installment is any indication.

Romancing the Wolf (BBW/Werewolf Romance) by Skye Eagleday: 2.5 stars
This must have been a bunch of short books that were stitched together in the end as chapters. That's the only explanation for the repetition and overlap. That being said, this was an erotic read, filled with lots of M/M, M/F, BDSM, and lots of other acronyms. It starts a little clinically, but you can see the progression of the writing as the chapters move along. The story starts with Bree (a human) and Mikah, a werewolf then moves on to Delia (a dominatrix) and a bunch of other shifters. As little sexy reads, it would probably work better than stitched together as is. There wasn't really a larger storyline, making this more of a fun romance.

Delicate Freakn' Flower by Eve Langlais: 4 stars
I had this book in my "to-read" pile for a little bit, so I was glad I found it in this box set. This one is definitely in the erotic category, filled with sizzling steamy scenes that will light your kindle on fire. The romance is M/F/M, with a wolf shifter (Naomi) being destined to mate 2 lacrosse players in the form of a bear shifter (Ethan) and a panther shifter (Javier). Naomi fights against this with all her might, determined to prove that they will only destroy her life when it is really the opposite. It was nice seeing some heart thrown into the sexy times and there was even a little mystery going on in the background. Solid read for someone looking for some good smutty paranormal romance.

Protecting The Pack by Tabitha Conall: 4 stars
Turns out this is book 4 in a series by this author, but I didn't even realize it while reading. This was a really solid read from start to finish. Theres M/F/M and M/M/F (and M/M thrown in for good measure) so be prepared. Unlike other erotic reads, this book had a very real plot with lots of action, fighting, heart, and romance. Alex is dating a real scumbag when we first meet her. Her boyfriend is trying to get them into a new pack (with darker motivations he hides from her). Thinking she's in love with this guy, she follows his orders and ends up meeting her mates. This is the type of mating that involves one woman and 2 men (all wolves). In this tale, though, one of them just happens to be the alpha. This read definitely made me want to check out the rest of this series (and this author).

Witchy Wolf by Alexis Dare: 3.5 stars
Chloe was attacked on her way home one night by what she believes is a wolf. Since then, she’s been stuffing food in her mouth at an alarming rate and getting hot flashes. Oh, and she’s also being kind of stalked by a hot biker named Gabe. Turns out that Chloe has a bit of a complicated paranormal past and an even more complicated paranormal future as a werewolf. There are some perks to being a weird werewolf though, and they come in the form of the sexy biker alpha who seems to be more to Chloe than she originally thought. I would love see this story go further with some future installments. I’ll be adding this author to my “to-read” list!

A Change To Bear (Last of the Shapeshifters) by A.E. Grace: 3 stars
This story was a little sadder and more dramatic than the rest in this box set. Liam is a very old and emotionally scarred shapeshifter traveling the world aimlessly until he encounters Terry. Terry has quit her job and randomly decided to go to Vietnam. On the way, she meets Liam and is drawn to him in that fated mate mystical way. The two crash against each other until they finally come together and have to deal with an enemy from Liam’s past.

Curves For The Lone Alpha by Molly Prince: TBD: 4 stars
James is an alpha on his own, being essentially blackmailed into becoming the government’s werewolf for hire. Carrie is a woman on a mission to get over her recent ex-fiancé. She gets way more than she bargained for when she is thrust right in the middle of a wolf conflict and right into the arms of the “lone alpha,” James. This story had a lot of humor and sexy times that made this the type of book I really enjoy. The author had a very easy and entertaining writing style that kept my attention from start to finish.

The Alpha Claims A Mate by Georgette St. Clair: 4 stars
Ginger is on a vacation to get away from her cheating ex when she finds herself unwittingly offending a whole pack of gray wolves. Loch, the alpha of the offended pack, finds it in his heart to forgive her if she acts as his assistant for 2 weeks. These 2 weeks include a murder mystery, some political issues with the neighboring panthers, and some really sizzling sexy times. This story was definitely a full-fledged book with a solid story and some wonderfully entertaining writing. I would definitely love to check out more from this author and this series.

3.5 STARS.
ADRIANA HUNTER - ALL AMERICAN WOLF
LILIANA RHODES - CHARMING THE ALPHA
LYNN RED - CHANGE FOR ME
Motorcycle riding, tattooed bad boy alpha werewolf fights to save his mate from his terrifying rival. Steamy, seductive, sensual werewolf romance.
A.T. MITCHELL - BEAR KING'S CURVES
EVE LANGLAIS - DELICATE FREAKN’ FLOWER - Freakn’ 1
What a fun, humorous and light hearted read with a ménage relationship.
As usual with Ms Langlais we get humour, snark, attitude and hilarity.
A wonderful read with interesting characters. Loved both Ethan and Javier, they were great guys but Naomi was just a complete nutcase. I loved her to bits. Naomi is nothing like a delicate flower, more like a one woman wrecking ball.
Ethan accidentally knocking Naomi out and his best friend Javier laughing his head off at his friend finding his mate, until he too set eyes on Naomi was brilliant.
The family dynamics had me in stitches and the romance was great, not straight in to sex but the slow build up towards a mating. Loved it.
MICHELLE FOX - THE ALPHA'S MATE - Huntsville 2
The intro for this book Bring Her Wolf was a good read. This was even more enjoyable. I would recommend reading Bring her wolf first to understand about Chloe better.
Chloe was ready to leave her pack when the one wolf she wanted gave her what she needed. Now in this book Chloe is still having to prove herself. Some of the bitches that Jackson had sex with won’t give up without causing trouble. Chloe is going to have to prove she is an alpha female and sort out the bitches in the pack trying to bring her down.
Then to top it all a friend from Jacksons home pack comes to visit.
Chloe just cannot get a break but in the end she triumphs over them all.
Glad to see Jackson supporting Chloe this time.
SKYE EAGLEDAY - ROMANCING THE WOLF
TABITHA CONALL - PROTECTING THE PACK
ALEXIS DARE - WITCHY WOLF
A.E. GRACE - A CHANGE TO BEAR - Last Of The Shapeshifters 1
MOLLY PRINCE - CURVES FOR THE LONE ALPHA
GEORGETTE ST. CLAIR - THE ALPHA CLAIMS A MATE Blue Moon Junction 1
Reviewed previously 4 years ago but review is missing. Shocker.
Enjoyable tongue in cheek romp with likeable characters but a manwhore hero is not what I like to read about.
Ginger disrespects the local alpha not knowing who he is. She had watched this man basically rubbing up and licking every woman in the bar and when he ordered her to dance, she told him to get lost.
Apart from all the moaning about her weight, I quite liked Ginger until she starts panting after the sheriff like every other bi*ch in town does.
How many woman can say their first date is a BDSM sex club. Really tacky, especially as she lets him paddle her in front of the whole club.
Loch gets jealous about any male looking at Ginger but keeps running into woman around town who he has slept with and also mentions about taking PLENTY of women to the sex club. All those women were just while he was waiting for THE ONE. Yea right.
If you actually read the background story about the Indian artefacts, this is quite a fun read.
My only negative is I felt Ginger kept harping on about her size and being a big girl. We get that her ex left her for a skinny blondette, but I like a more positive heroine. His loss.
The best person in this story was Marigold.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked this set!!! (Individual book thoughts below)
****I received this ebook for an honest review, but I bought this set as well as individual books too!!!

All-American Wolf
My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

Okay, I read this book as part of the Fated Mates: The Alpha Shifter Boxed Set, and it is the first book. Awesome is all I can say!!

The cover is sexy and awesome :) Love looking at it with that sexy smirking bad boy :)

This story has so much action with a murder mystery and sexy strangers. Serena is a kick butt female detective who is always having to prove herself in the boys club. I can totally relate to the challenges of proving yourself when I worked on computers, and men walked right by me to ask the guys I worked with for help, and they pointed to me and said I was the computer person that they only fixed radios. It irked me but was amusing too because the guys were always laughing when the customer had to back track to me for help. They never missed what had happened. Serena is a strong and does her best always. I love heroines like this!!

Brody is sexy and mysterious, but is he a killer?? Well I’m not telling you, you have to read to find out what happens. It is action-packed :) I read it straight through and loved it!! This is not the typical shifter book that is romance first, I’d say the murder mystery cop stuff comes first. My grandma will love this book, so I’m going to have to buy it for her.

I highly recommend this book to my shifter loving friends, but also to my friends who like murder mysteries :) Fabulous, I’m going to have to look into more books by Adriana Hunter :)

Charming the Alpha
My Thoughts - 3 out of 5 Unicorns - I liked it!!

This is the 2nd story in the Fated Mates Box Set that I just bought. This story had me confused in the beginning, and while the confusion cleared up, I just didn’t connect with any of the characters. I’m thinking it is because this is the first book in the series, but not sure it could be my head cold and headache. Hannah is sort of naive as a character in my opinion because she never asks questions and knows nothing about her community that is full of shifters. Caleb protects her, but you do not know much about him.

I think if you like shifter books that you will enjoy reading this story. I am definitely going to continue reading more by this author.

Change For Me
My Thoughts - 3.5 out of 5 Unicorns - I more than liked it!!

This is a great start to a series, and I definitely want to read more of this series. This story did start a little slow, and I wished it was more action packed. But I see this happen in the first book of a series where you are building characters and the world for the readers.

Both Lily and Damon remind me of my high school students, but this is NOT a young adult book, it is for adults only due to the sexual content. They are scared and unsure of themselves and their futures; I know I was terrified when I graduated high school and tried to figure out what I was doing. Lily has a strength of character where she does not give up fighting or on her love for Damon which I really admire :) Damon loves her but keeps running away.

Grandpa Joe and Poko are both interesting characters, and it definitely helped add something to this shifter tale.

This has a few different ideas for shifters that make it unique and a world to explore more. I think if you like shifter tales, you will enjoy this story. Though I am hoping for more action in the next book, I do own both of the next books in this series :)

Witchy Wolf
My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

This is the first book in the series. It is about 127 pages so take your pick whether you call it a novella or a novel because to me it doesn’t matter :) It is for adults only due to the steamy content.

This book started with action from the word go. Chloe is confident in some ways, but she has many walls to keep away the others. Gabriel is a sexy Alpha in every sense of the word. Their story is very well put together. Plenty of action, mystery, intrigue, drama, fighting, and so much more that just pull you into the story until you are at the end saying Wow!! I couldn’t put the book down.

I highly recommend this book to any lovers of shifters especially if you like the idea of fated mates!! I can’t wait to read the next book!!!

A Change To Bear
My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!

The cover is very sexy with both beasts on the cover :) Definitely makes me want to pick up the book :)

The author’s suggested reading order straight from her newsletter says: “While there is no set order, I feel that this would be best: At Full Sprint --> Bear This Heat --> A Change To Bear --> Love of a Tiger --> Her Bark His Bite.” Also a word of caution, the covers have changed, and I noticed that it doesn’t show that I purchased the book since the change, so please check under manage content to ensure you haven’t already purchased this awesome book….I have purchase the same book in the past because the cover changed in fact this is one of those very books that I have paid for twice.

This is the 3rd book I have read in this series, and I’m reading them in the author’s suggested order though I think you could read this book before Bear This Heat….it is a toss up with this one referencing things that happened in Bear This Heat, but in that one, these characters are involved in the interview parts from Monster Magazine. This book did not have any of the interview or excerpt parts from Monster Magazine. I really enjoyed this story.

This is Terry and Liam’s story. Both characters are great, but I just wasn’t feeling as connected to them as I did Cheat and Circe & Sasha and Dylan. I can’t put my finger on why though. I do really like this series. This story is set mostly in Asia. There is some action, touristy stuff, and romance.

All American Wolf
I enjoyed this book. It was more romantic thriller in it's own way. Serena is a police officer who has a one night stand who ends up being the lead suspect in the murder case she is working.
During her case she meets Wes who keeps pulling her to him. While she battles her feelings for Wes and Brody, she's working her butt off to solve the mystery of the murdered naked man left on the frozen lake.
All American Wolf was an interesting book, and it was good.
Charming the Alpha
Charming the Alpha was okay. It had a great storyline, interesting twists and turns, but I felt confused. There felt like so much missing for being the first book it can take you one of two ways. Dying to get to the second one so you can make sense fo what is going on, or 2 leaving it because none of it really felt complete.
Change for Me
This was a disappointing story. The plot and story line hold a lot of promise, however the characters lack a lot of something.
Usually I find the heroine to suffer from TSTL (to stupid to live syndrome) and sadly both the hero and heroine hold this quality.
Lily lives with her grandfather after her parents died. Damon is alone after his family left for a vacation? there is so much that makes you feel like you do not have the whole story, and too much of other things you just could care less about.
Damon seriously isn't like an alpha you know .He's seriously weak and whiny and unappealing until the end when he finally gets his crap together. I'm just really sad about this book and i hate giving low ratings.
Bear King’s Curves
Bear King's Curves was okay. The storyline was good and for the most part the characters were good too. I wasn't in love with it because I felt some parts could have had more focus and others less. I more than likely will read more of these.
Delicate Freaking Flower
This was really good. Ethan and Javier on their own are alpha shifter men that are gorgeous and panty melting. Together they are any woman's dream.
Naomi bothered me a bit. She's a wolf shifter who mates a bear and jaguar. Okay but she abhors violence, hates how rowdy and obnoxious her family is but yet when she gets mad everything is okay to destroy and have a temper. Double standards are irritating.
Other than that, the sex was hot, story kept my attention adn was just plain good.
The Alpha’s Mate
I did not read the first one to this series and can say I’m not sure I really needed it to get into the story. Chloe was a null, or thought she was. Instead she was just a “late” bloomer, or her mate just knew how to bring her wolf ;) Jackson is new to the pack and is next in line to be alpha. After pretty much sleeping with the whole pack’s eligible females he found his mate in the last person he thought possible, or anyone for that matter…..Chloe.
She’s tough to a point and a pretty okay heroine. A lot of the ladies aren’t happy to have lost their chance to be the next alpha’s leading lady, however it’s even worse because quite a few people believe her to be not only weak but an Omega wolf too. Her one main objector wants to challenge her to an archaic custom.
Of course like all of that isnt’ enough, there is a rogue alpha collecting and killing females.
Romancing the Wolf
I have to say this one threw me a little bit. I'm all about dominating, and sisters being different and werewolves...but this one was a little bit to far out there for me.
Protecting the Pack
This happens to be a really decent shifter romance. I mean it's not for everyone but the idea of a trifecta for mates..pretty interesting.
The plot and action kept the book going, and the back stories for the three main characters made you actually feel like you were invested in them. I really enjoyed this.
Witchy Wolf
Wow what an start to a series. Chloe has been attacked by an animal in the park on her way home from a bar. Now she's healing quickly and things are changing.
I loved how the first time she saw Gabe instantly things got heated. He's the Alpha of the local werewolf pack and he's in charge of making sure she doesn't hurt anyone during her first change. Not everyone is happy with the newest addition into the pack.
Secret feelings, parental issues, witches, and wolves oh my!
A Change to Bear
this was certainly a different spin on shifters. However I felt like too much time was spent building up the characters and plot only to have the good parts rushed. Terry and Liam are both likable enough but I felt like I needed more. I guess there will be a part 2 maybe? But i found my self skimming and skipping ahead which isn't fair.
Curves for the Lone Alpha
This one was good. I mean the girl leaving her fiance before a huge weekend getaway, taking the getaway, and meeting the lonely alpha. I would have rated it higher, but I felt more could have been done for both main characters in the short time. It was good but I wanted more.
As another shifter novella from the Fated Mates box set I was up in the air about this one. I mean it was better than some of the ones I've read previously but....
The Alpha Claims a Mate
Loch is an gray wolf alpha used to getting the attention. Ginger is a red wolf huge feels she's overweight and takes offense to Loch demanding a dance.
This sparks a lot of commotion because no one turns down the Alpha. It was okay but I felt the whole deal with the Panthers was just so weird. I mean it was a great twist but Tallula and Brenda and the Professor and Marigold...there was so much going on for such a short story.

I just finished reading Her Raven Mate’s by Aria Adams. A wicked stepmother, a cursed swan, black magic and three handsome raven brothers. What a storyline. There is a little something for everyone to like. So much left to the imagination that you feel there is more to come, the possibility of another book or an update . More mystery with a hint of romance.

I read and reviewed a copy of this book.

This set has something for everyone! Some I loved, others I liked.

Inside this box you will find intriguing characters, solid story lines and in my case a new author to add to your favorites! Of course you will find some incredibly hot scenes and alphas to dream about.

These are novellas .... Do expect fast paced world builds, quick character acceptance of the unknown, and an incredible itch for more ;)

Each work will be broken down individually in the near future. :)

Nice collection, great intro to new to the reader authors at .99.

While I had heard about many of the authors included, I hadn't read any of their work (despite having Delicate Freakin Flower for a couple of years). I was given an ecopy by one of the authors in exchange for my honest review.

While the stories have the basic werewolf/shifter set up, hot, protective alpha males and similar world building, the variety of stories kept me interested. 2 out of the 12 were DNFs primarily due to slow story development in both and one having a just graduated teen as the heroine. Not from an "ick" young heroine point because her guy was also a just graduated teen, but she was totally uninteresting. There were some typos, punctuation errors, wrong/missing words in a few books, none so bad I couldn't enjoy the read. Delicate Freakin Flower was one of the worst. As I mentioned, it's been out for a while, it could (should) have been revised. There is sex in every story at a moderate level I felt for shifter books in 2014.

Romancing the Wolf- The story of two sisters finding out about wolf shifters. Primarily focuses on Bree and is a fairly typical PNR. Delia's story, the younger sister, is kind of thrown in. It was a bit too much for an intro to a character a possible next book might be focused on, yet not enough for this to really be her book. I liked Bree's portion better because Delia was a sadist domme and we learn more than once that she loves having sex with shifters because there's no need for safe words and she can do WHATEVER she wants as long as there's no silver because they'll heal. Sorry, no, that doesn't work for me. Especially because, in an interesting twist, these weres (BTW most are gay, if not, bi) get hopped up on Ecstasy on full moon nights so they have no will and really can't say no. Granted, they do seem to be enthusiastic and willingly come to her, but there is an "ick" factor here for me.

Curves for the Lone Alpha- James is forced to work as a enforcer for the FBI and meets his mate. I liked that James didn't moan and groan having to work for the FBI. He was doing it to find out more about why his pack was killed and he did the job without being angsty.

The Alpha Claims a Mate- My favorite of the bunch. I liked all the characters and there was a nice bunch of interesting secondary characters and a mystery to boot. Some reviews about this book as a single mention the BDSM scene was being out of place and excessive. I didn't feel that way because BDSM is fairly common in shifter books because the alphas tend to be so dominant. Ginger, the heroine, TELLS Loch that he can punish her any way he wants and he even asks her again if she's sure. When they get to the club, he makes sure she wants to come in (she's even eager) and he gives her a safeword. While there, the author doesn't put in much detail about what's happening to others and Ginger is fully clothed from the waist up and is wearing full cut hipsters. She gets 10 whacks, a little care and off they go. That's it, BDSM ultralight.

All American Wolf - I felt this one had the most developed story about a female detective who meets two men while investigating some unusual murders.

Charming the Alpha - Hannah, a witch feels strangely attracted to the wolf alpha. Wolves are getting abducted and Hannah helps save the day and finds out something new about herself.

Change for Me - This is the story about the teen I found uninteresting and the story slow to develop. DNF.

Bear King's Curves - Yay! some werebears . Interesting story about bear antiquities getting stolen by a sexy thief who is thwarted by a bear enforcer who finds out the clan has some secrets.

Witchy Wolf - Chloe wakes up in the hospital after a werewolf attacks her. She doesn't realize that she's "special" and when she turns for the first time there are some surprises. She's also torn between the PI and cop she meets. The story has a mystery around Chloe's dad and ends abruptly.

A Change to Bear - Terry has a terrible job and a not so great family and just takes off for Asia and basically foists herself on Liam, a fellow traveler, Liam has some secrets, but the story moves so slowly and is more of a travelogue than a PNR that I gave up. DNF

Delicate Freakin Flower - Wolf, bear and jaguar triad. Very reminiscent of Shelley Laurenston. Had one good lout loud laugh at the beginning.

Protecting the Pack - Another fated triad story with a little m/m action. Outsiders try to infiltrate two established packs and take them over.

The Alpha's Mate - A shifter unable to change into her wolf gets help from the alpha to be. As she's getting adjusted, a rival for her mate' affection causes trouble and there are female shifters disappearing. Chloe's a bit of a doormat at the beginning but come into her own.

All American Wolf by Adriana Hunter

When one finds there love, that one person they are supposed to spend the rest of their life with, everything just seems right. Finding that love isn’t always a easy road, but maybe it will be worth it.
Serena doesn’t do one night stands, but yet the gloriously sexy male she met at the bar, well they just clicked. Serena is a cop that has fought and worked hard to get where she is... a detective. After her “one night” stand with Brody, she goes about doing her job.. which is tracking down a killer.
Serena will not just meet Brody, but she will meet his nemesis as well. Serena will have to shift through dead to rights evidence and make the right choices. Serena will second guess everything she thinks she knows.
A sweet loving story, with a bit of mystery and a few hot yummy scenes. The characters fit well together with each other and made a good story. Enjoy

Protecting the Pack (Stonewall Pack Alpha 4) by Tabitha Connal

A true Alpha will do what he needs to do to keep the pack safe. Its not always easy, one can never show weakness because then you invite a challenge. For Chris is pack was solid, but for some reason they’ve had a lot of new members joining. New doesn’t always mean good, when approached by another wanna be new member Chris cringed. Chris meets 2 more new people a male and a female, and decides to give them a 2 week probation, wasn’t sure why besides the fact he really didn’t need anymore in his pack.
The next meeting in the bar, Chris and Ben spot each other and at the same time realize they're mates, now to convince their third mate that just ran out the door because she felt the same thing. Alex she has a man that she loves.. doesn’t she?
Ooo what a tangled web that is weaved, when others try to deceive. Pretty righteous love story. I didn’t read the ones before, but it didn’t take anything for the story. Some pretty hot scenes, some fights and a lot of love. Enjoy.

Delicate Freakn' Flower by Eva Langlais
I’m just soo into shifters!! and the two shifters in this one id never have thought to put together!! and the girl being a shifter as well! just makes it for a fun read and I cant wait to read the others in the series. The males showed a lot of patience and showed that they had brains breaking away form what she thought a shifter would act like. Enjoy!!

The Alpha Claims A Mate (Blue Moon Junction 1) by Georgette St. Clair

I love a sexy alpha and a sassy girl. Loch is a old school alpha of his pack and a local sheriff. Ginger a half breed city girl that’s got just the right amount of sass.
She shows a bit of the sass on first meeting Loch, and sets the wheels of fate rolling through her life. Loch has a reputation with the ladies of his town, but has yet to settle down. Being a alpha gives him certain perks, but when Ginger tells him no, to dancing he finds himself at a loss of words.
I loved the story with the bit of mystery, the jealous girl and a bit of old magic stirred in. Enjoy

Curves for The Lone Alpha (Lone Alpha 1) by Molly Prince
A ex fiance and a ruined weekend get away, after her fiance breaks up with her Carrie still decides to go to the cabin for the weekend. She is hurt, lonely and upset of course drinking champagne helps. (I did love the hot tub scene though).
James is a alpha without a pack, he has some serious issues he's dealing with. He really doesn’t have time for a relationship. But when he is on a mission, and runs into the soft curvy Carrie its all over but the crying so to speak,
Short, sweet and a cliff hanger (smirks). Carrie sort of accepted what she saw, and the feelings she started having about James. James is still on a mission, and he needs to leave. For a quick read not bad, a few secrets, some skeletons in the closet even a few hot scenes inked the pages of this read. It will be well worth it, for me to look into the second book. Enjoy

Love Fated Mates!!! 12 books rolled into one what more could you ask for!!!

All American Wolf by Adriana Hunter
I found The All American Werewolf a wonderful book to read. Serena is a detective in Wisconsin trying to find a killer of an college student. Brody is a sexy shifter that she meets at a dinner one night and has a fling with. The author brought this story together with drama and suspense that was very interesting. There's a lot of twist in turns in this book that I found very creative.

Charming The Alpha by Lilliana Rhodes
I love reading Charming The Alpha it's different in a positive way. Once I started reading I could not put down. It's a must read if you love paranormal romance.

Change For Me by Lynn Red
This is totally different than other paranormal books I read but interest all the way through. This is a wonderful start to a new series. I love all the ups and downs in this story it keeps you guessing if their going to make it work this time or not. I have to say I love the end the most of all.

Bear King Curves by A. T. Mitchell
Nick and Lyla has an amazing adventure throughout the book. It's amazing how these to came together over a stolen artifact. I found this story as a fast read. I enjoyed their adventure together.

Delicate Freakin' Flower by Eve Langlais
Love this book!!! This book had humor and a lot of sass by Naomi and let's not forget about Ethan and Javier both smart jocks what girl could ask for more!!! This is a good read can't wait to read the next one!!!

The Alpha's Mate by Michelle Fox
The Alpha's Mate is a great follow up to Make Her Howl. Chloe has to prove herself to everyone in her pack that she would be a good alpha for them. Jackson stands by Chloe every step of the way through all the obstacles of her new position in the pack.

Romancing The Wolf by Skye Eagleday
This was an interesting book. It's a good read some parts of the story was was about Bree's sister and she was something else. The story does come together by the time it ended. Over all I did enjoy reading something different than I'm use too!!!

Protecting The Pack by Tabitha Conall
This is one of my favorite paranormal books!!! The story line was great and it kept you on your toes!!! Chris, Ben and Alexis makes Protecting the Pack a wonderful suspense drama!!! From Alexis not wanting her mate cause she thinks she's in love with another and all the chaos that is breaking out in the pack!!! This book is a must read!!!

Witchy Wolf by Alexis Dare
This book has suspense and drama that make a great combination. Chloe and Gabe are trying to figure out who changed her into a wolf and who killed her best friend. Can't wait to read the sequel to Witchy Witch!!!!

A Change To Bear by A. E. Grace
A Change To Bear started off a little slow. Once you pass the first couple of chapters it started getting better. Terry is trying to get a way from her job and family and Liam is on the run from a fellow shifter who's trying to kill him. Terry and Liam meet on a train and that's where the story begins to get interesting. Love the story has a lot of details.

Curves For A Lone Alpha by Molly Prince
Curve For The Lone Alpha is a great start for a new series. Loved reading about James and Carrie they are amazing together and I can't wait to read the next book it's calling my name!!! Over all it's a little short but it packed with a lot of humor!!!

The Alpha Claims A Mate by Georgette St. Clair
The Alpha Claims A Mate is a fast pace reading I love it. It has romance and drama everything you want in a book. Love the way Ginger turn down Loch. The drama starts when people comes up missing and Ginger tags a long with Loch to investigate. This is a wonderful love story.

Fated Mates (Alpha Shifter Box Set) Review
Book
#1: All American Wolf by Adriana Hunter
Love, Mystery , Intrigue and a Hot Shifter
Well written story that kept my interest throughout the entire book. I love the mystery involved and the who's done it. Serena is great lead female Detective for this story. A steamy shifter romance and a murder mystery all in one. Another great job of writing by the author. As always with Adriana Hunter it was entertaining and extremely enjoyable to read. Never a dull moment. This is the first in the Fated Mates (Alpha Shifter Box Set) but is also an individual book. I bought the book and got the box set as an ARC for an honest review.

# 2 Charming the Alpha by Lilana Rhodes
Very original story line to include: a curse along with humans and shifters and even a witch. Well written and very enjoyable to read. Looking forward to the next book in the series ( I do believe it's already out). Even though it part of a series the book is still self contained. Great Job.

#3 Change for me by Lynn Red
This was a wonderful beginning to a trilogy. I enjoyed the interplay between the characters. Well written and enjoyable to read. It is a complete story even though it's part of a set. I highly recommend to get the other two already written books in the set. Love the mysteries as there discovered throughout the book. Great Job.

# 4 Bear King's Curves: A BBW Werebear Shifter Romance (Kindle Edition)
Original and entertaining
I love an original story line and this story has it. I read a lot of paranormal romance novels and at times have a hard time finding original idea in the books. This author did it and did it very well. The story was well written as well as flowed extremely well. Kept my interest and was a very quick read. I loved the twists at the end. Great job on the story telling to the author. Keep up the great work. I received this book as a ARC from the author.

#5 Delicate Freakin Flower by Eve Langlais

Well written, entertaining and very enjoyable to read. Great job to the author, looking forward to the next in your series. I received an arc of this book for an honest review. I haven't finished reading the whole book yet so I will give a review of what I have read so far. This is a fantastic deal, 12 books for .99 at the time I write this. Love these shifters so much!! Some of these ladies are new to me and I am just loving their stories.

1. All American Wolf by Adrianna Hunter: Omg, this story was awesome, I loved it. Serena is a detective and is trying to solve a murder. She first meets Brody in a bar before this and they have an instant connection. Then while working the case she meets Wes and her feelings and mind start going erratic. Watching her solve the mystery and in the process falling in love, was such an emotional journey. Very erotic and graphic sex scenes.

2. Charming the Alpha by Liliana Rhodes: Sooo good!! Hannah is a witch. When she meets Caleb for the first time, he is having a hard time understanding what is going on. He doesn't know if it is because she is a wolf charmer or his mate. Is she going to be the carrier of the Crane curse?? Plenty of romance and suspense here. Loved reading about Caleb and Hannah's romance!!

3. Change for Me by Lynn Red: Wow, another great story. Lily, Damon, Devin and Cat have all just graduated. Damon and Devin are going to be Alphas of their packs and both are wanting to claim Lily at their mated, causing a possible war to break out between the packs. Cat was Devin's latest girlfriend and she gets caught up the danger and drama. This story has so much action and fighting between the two guys, but there is romance for Lily too. A very sexy and exciting story.

4. Bear Kings Curves by A.T. Mitchell: Nick is an alpha werebear and Lyla has stolen an artifact from his clan. When Nick is sent by the elders to take care of Lyla and get the artifact back, he realizes he can't kill her, she is actually his mate. Eventually working together, they uncover secrets about Nick's background and true Alpha reign as King of his clan. this is a very sexual and exciting story with drama. This was another great story, I just love me some bear shifters, mmm!!

6. The Alpha's Mate by Michelle Fox: Jackson and Chloe are starting their new life as mates, but with her being a null, or so she thought, she has a lot to learn to be in a pack. This story deals with her journey to be accepted as pack and her and Jackson learning to love each other. A couple of women in his past are out to destroy her, and their relationship. There were times I cried, and times that I laughed and I so loved their romance and their sex scene. This story is actually the sequel of To Bring Her Wolf(Make Her Howl), it was good to know what happened after he brought her wolf and they mated. I loved the story and it was good to know that the current Alpha supports Jackson and Chloe's mating.

All American Wolf by Adriana Hunter

I really liked this story. It was slow going but about half way through the real action started and didn't stop. The story got very intense and had you wondering which way it was going to go. I love when you're never sure of the outcome of the book.

Boxed sets or anthologies are always a fabulous way to get books. Ok sometimes by their very nature they can be quite short stories but I would still always recommend them as it's probably the cheapest way to read books . In this particular set you actually get twelve stories from well established authors and quite a lot of these stories have already been published at even higher prices ! You do not have to be a rocket scientist to realise that twelve books for what you could well pay for just one is without doubt a win win situation so what are you waiting for? Lovers of paranormal romance would be absolutely crazy to miss out on this amazing deal so get it now before the price rises!
I'm not going to actually review each individual story as one, it would take too long and two , no one wants a review that goes on forever so I will just comment briefly on the type of stories you will be reading if you purchase this book. Well with a title like Fated Mates I think most people would be expecting to read about Shifters and that would be the right idea. So many of my personal favourite authors have included stories here., Eve Langlais, Georgette St Clair and Michelle Fox amongst them but new names to me too. Lynn Red was one of the new names that I discovered and as I've recently been reading a lot of MC fiction her alpha wolf went down a treat! Another new name to watch out for is AT Mitchell who manages to serve up quite delicious bears! In fact the only story I actually owned already was the Eve Langlas offering Delicate Freakin Flower and trust me that heroine is anything but delicate ! A wolf , a bear and a jaguar? You just know there's trouble ahead and I really should mention Adriana Hunter because just why have I not heard of her before? I've clearly missed out and anyone who loves paranormal romance will certainly miss out too if they let this book pass them by.
Fabulous fun with authors who really know how to tell a story and trust me there's some very hot stuff in here too! Oodles of spicy goings on to warm the coldest night and plots that actually make sense . If you want to escape a dreary reality and while away your time with a bunch of hot alpha males and the women capable of keeping them on their toes ( or anywhere else they want them!) then this is a wonderful way to do just that.
Most definitely recommended

This is a great collection of shifter romance featuring some very sexy alphas and their mates that keeps the reader well entertained for quite a while.
Each of these stories is fast paced and keep readers shivering in anticipations with suspense, action and lots of romance. The authors bring the stories to life with vivid imagery, detail and strong bewitching characters that captures the imagination. The stories draw the reader in with attention grabbing events that has the reader wanting to know more. Bears taking their rightful place as kings, wolves being framed by other wolves, a wolf charmer being hunted by enemy coyotes, two wolves fighting to claim the alpha spot, wolves fighting jealously in the pack and a murder on the loose, a biker wolf saving his mate from lurking danger, a mate being pursued by two shapeshifting jocks, find out what happens when a alpha gets offended, and a shapeshifter on the run and hunted by evil. A great combination of stories that keep the reader guessing what will happen next and gets the adrenalin pumping with lots of action.
The chemistry between these alphas and their mates explodes from the pages and the frequent sex scenes are red hot and scorch the reader with their intensity. The relationships are spicy and sizzling with passion and each has their own adversity and emotional turmoil to be dealt with. The authors do a great job of conveying the emotions and making it easy for the reader to relate to the characters and their lives.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the stories in this collection enjoyable and entertaining. The fact that it is all about sexy alpha shifters was like the cherry on top of these captivating tales. All of the authors contributed fantastic worlds to be explored and romance to warm the iciest of hearts as the reader can’t help but get caught up in their stories.

All American Wolf 1 star
Hum, where was the Alpha male here? All I got was a psychopath wolf that manipulates women and one puppy wolf on the run!!! As for Serena, not really the strong heroin you expect, she is just there... Sorry to say but really disappointing.

Charming the Alpha 3 stars
A funny rewriting of Red Ridding Hood but as for the story itself, not that much to go on. I don't like women lead characters who are not strong and stubborn, who knows their way. Hannah is like a little girl, at first I thought she was in high school or so. But the background story of the curse and the different shifters and all was quite interesting. Would have like to know more about the curse and its relation with the Crane family because I didn't really understand the link here.

Change For Me 3 stars
Interesting and a new approach of the werewolf myth. As for the character, I didn't feel like Damon was such a strong one. He left Lily twice already and didn't seem to accept his role as future alpha. However, Lily WAS strong and stubborn, knew she loved Damon and fought for him, up to a point where you can't do it on your own. My regret in this book was that we see none of the rest of the pack. Of course there is Poko but he seems more like a guide or shaman than anything. The whole shifter aspect is very light, nearly absent in this book. It left me hanging.

Bear King's Curves

The Alpha's Mate

Romancing the Wolf

Witchy Wolf by Alexis Dare

Delicate Freakn' Flower 4 stars
So full of sass and fun. Loved this story. And wow, how hot it was!!!

Curves For The Lone Alpha

I don't feel like reading the rest yet. Will see for continuation on a later date.

Book 1 "All American Wolf (Werewolf Paranormal Romance)" by Adrana Hunter: This is the first book I have read of Adriana Hunter and it will most definitely not be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed this paranormal romantic suspense! Serena and Brody's story was unique, passionate, mysterious and adventurous to say the least! I highly recommend this book! 5 Stars!

Book 2 "Charming The Alpha" by Liliana Rhodes: Delicious Shifter Romance Adventure! Liliana Rhodes has written a wonderfully creative shifter romance mixed with mystery and adventure! I loved every second of Hannah & Caleb's story. Mixing in history and folklore surrounding Leeds Point, New Jersey was a wonderful bonus in this story. Can't wait to read the rest of the books in this trilogy! 5 Stars!

Book 3 "Change for Me" (The Alpha's Kiss #1) by Lynn Red: Transformational, Werewolf Shifter Romance! This is the first book I have read by Lynn Red and it most certainly won't be my last! Lily and Damon's story is raw and beautiful as first loves often are! Throw in werewolf transformational rites into Alpha roles and a fierce adversary to battle and you have a shifter adventure that's a real page turner!! I loved every second of this story and can't wait to read the next book in the series!! 5 Stars!

I will continue to post reviews as I finish each book!

I LOVED this book, each story obviously was a shifter story which I love. The authors that wrote in it are some of my favorite and some were new to me but I will certainly be following them now.I also liked that some of the stories were the beginning of a series of a 2 or 3 parter and it gave me the chance to see if I wanted to read the rest (which I do!!) and some were part 2 of a story where I had waited for part 2 but being it was in this book,I did not have to go out and buy it separately which was a bonus.I won't go thru each story as I see a lot of people did,but I can tell you that for the first time in a long time I loved every single story in an anthology book. And the new authors that I ran into,I will be buying more of their books they were so good.Having said all that and I sincerly mean that I loved every book,I have to admit that I had a secret favorite,Eve Langlais,,Im a freakin flower was not only hot and steamy,it was funny and made me want to go out and buy all her books, which I can't right now,but I will end up with all of them one day.I think it was book 3 but not sure because I zipped thru this book because it was so hard to put it down at any time!! I highly recommend this,if you like paranormal shifters you will LOVE this book!!

I have to start by saying that I have not finished all the books in this boxed set. Not for lack of trying, I have stayed up way too late a few nights already.
I absolutely love my shifters and one reason I love this Anthology is that there are bear shifters as well as wolf. All American Wolf, Charming the Alpha, Curves for the Lone Alpha each have a different take on the wolf shifter. But, they all include the bigger girl theme. YAY! Us bigger girls enjoy sex just as much as a skinny girl and I, for one, am tired of reading about it. It was so nice to read about a bigger girl worrying about her fat rolls and jiggly flesh during sex, I got to appreciate what we really think about. Admit it! I enjoyed the sex in these stories. The Bear King's Curves really brought a lot of snickers out of me at the way both of them talked about (or thought about) her extra curves.
If you like shifter stories and the BBW (Big Beautiful Women for those that don't know) who love them, pick up this days of fun Anthology. I am not saying every story contained a BBW, but most of them did. The only thing that would have made this boxed set even better - more big cat shifters. Hint, hint!

As with any box set, you take a chance. With this box set I would say that the chance was worth taking. I enjoyed all of these stories, admittedly some more than others, but that is not to say that any were bad.

The alphas leap of the pages at you and the females are a strong bunch who are not afraid to make their feelings on any situation known.

If I had to choose any as favourites it would still be Eve Langlais who has been a longterm favourite of mine, with her Delicate Freakin' Flower and another would be Protecting The Pack by Tabitha Conall. I loved this story too and have since checked out some of her other works too.

If there was anything I was disappointed with, it was to have an Alpha that just came across as being young, dumb and hung. Yes, I expect fireworks from the Alphas in the bedroom but that doesn't mean that that is all I want from them. I want to see their intelligence as well as their hotness as that is what appeals to me. Maybe that is all you want when you read in which case you will probably love all of the books.

A good box set to have for sheer sexiness and attitude but take the good with the not-so-good.

An anthology of works introducing a range of "romantic" erotica shifter stories.

The Alpha's Mate - by Michelle Fox - 129 pages - 3 stars
Overall decent read with interesting tropes

I loved a preceding short story about a "null" (shifter who cannot shift) finding herself to be mated to the pack's incoming Alpha. Although not quite as good, I enjoyed this follow-on story of a former "null" still grappling with challenges and prejudices before assuming the role of Alpha mate. The bitchy, jealous ex/rival trope was included in a mostly satisfactory way, sometimes typical but also with a twist or turn here and there. Off page rape (and an assault within the story), including some over-the-top threats, will heighten the drama for some (but may be a trigger or off putting for others), so be warned this is a bit more on the monstrous side of things than some similar stories.

Overall, this was an interesting enough read, although not as compelling to me as the preceding short story, but should work well for folks who like heightened rivalry/infighting mixed with some harsh physical threat/assault/fighting

Favorite Genre + Favorite Authors + Great Price = Hours of Joy and Happiness!

This review is from: Fated Mates: The Alpha Shifter Boxed Set (Kindle Edition)
All I can say is WOW! There isn't anyone who loves this genre who will not only get way more than their monies' worth - but you will also find a new author or two or five…

I would buy this just for Georgette St. Clair's The Alpha Claims a Mate - LOVED the book and everything she writes!

I would also buy this just for The Alpha's Mate by Michelle Fox - LOVED the book and all of the books she publishes.

I have paid more than .99 for a few of the books in this boxed set but am very happy to have them all together as they are books I know I will read more than once.

Other favorite books in this set were: Delicate Freakin' Flower by Eve Langlais (LOL hilarity in this book) and Curves For The Lone Alpha by Molly Prince.

Buy this boxed set - you will be so glad that you did!

I was given a fee ARC for an honest review.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I chose 3 books from this set to review.

Charming the Alpha by Liliana Rhodes:
Love is complicated. Throw in some spirits, a curse and a Juliet/Romeo style romance and you have a wild read. The relationships were fluid and changing. There were a number of twists along the way with multiple HEA at the end.

Protecting the Pack by Tabitha Conall:
A wolf walks into the bar...hehehe. There is a lot of confusion going on and it was the perfect time to strike. Protecting the Pack is the story of a broken hero, tired from the army; the alpha, who's pack is being attacked from within; and a battered heroine, who is being used as a pawn. Insidious plan foiled by fated mates.

The Alpha Claims A Mate by Georgette St. Clair:
Snubbing the alpha is not a good idea. But that is what our curvy heroine does while she's having girls night out. An investigation forces them to work together, helping them to patch up first impressions. I didn't like the twist at the end. It made me angry and sad. I was glad when they ripped him apart.

I was given a copy of this book in place of an honest review.

All I have to say is that this book was very tantalizing and delightful to read. I love books with shape-shifters and alpha men that love to just take charge. Yes when I saw how many pages that this book had it did seem to be a little too much. The words just started coming off the pages. There were many I could just imagine myself in.

I am a person that really gets into books and I take everything to heart. That is what this anthology did to me. Can you imagine having to pick from all these authors? I will let you in on a little secret. I did have a favorite, but that stays with me.

I can't praise one more than another because that wouldn't be fair. I will just say that they did an awesome job with each story. I was taken on some grand adventures and some hot scenes. I will just have to tell you that this is one anthology that you really need to read.
