As someone starting to use a video camera more seriously I found this book extremely useful, not just for all the lessons, tips and examples, but in the way the interviewees would explain something in a few words that gelled the knowledge being imparted in the chapter.

The book goes from planning all the way to selling your documentary, and is one I highly recomend to anyone who wants to learn more about the craft.

Great little introduction on how to create documentaries, and all that goes into the planning and execution of them.
