253 booksPeter Terrid was the pen name of Wolfpeter Ritter, a German science fiction author.
He studied English and History to become a teacher, later switching to History, Sociology and Political Science. During his college time he started writing and published his first novel, 'Das Pendel der Zeit', in 1970.
In 1974, he started working with the 'Perry Rhodan' booklet franchise, and became part of the permanent staff two years later. In 1980 he became a writer for the fantasy series 'Mythor'. He died in Cologne in 1998, shortly before his 50th birthday.
His pseudonyms when writing for other projects included John Catlin, Jerry Cotton, Pierre Lykoff, Patricia Wynes, and Patrick Wynes.
