How does Passover, the celebration of liberation, change after the horrendous events of October 7th? Billed as a Hagaddah supplement tries to answer that very question. With many different voices and many different opinions, this book allows for the so painful grief and ends still on notes of hope. (In truth I have a piece in it). Having collected Haggadot for decades, I learned or relearned something on every page often through a lens that is so very painful. I don't agree with all of the opinions. You don't have to either. Maybe that is precisely the point. As the Academy for Jewish Religion frequently teaches, there are 70 faces of Torah. Come hear the wrestling with me. Many organizations release a new supplement every year. This one is the first of its kind that allows for the range of opinion, emotion, scholarship that is sure to enrich anyone's observance of Passover, this year and in years to come. Kudos to Ora Horn Prouser and Menachem Creditor for having the vision and creativity to edit and produce this book. Next year in Jerusalem. Next year, the world at peace.
