When Chase Morsey Jr. joins Ford Motor Co. in 1948, he has no idea the part he'll play in automotive history.

Although the book seemed to be a bit of self-promotion, it was probably difficult to write this without having this feeling. With an interest in automotive history, this was a book that definitely enjoyed, and it taught me some things about Ford Motor Company that I did not know. It was a quick and pleasant read that held my interest too.

V8 Review
If you are a car buff or just interested in some corporate American hist, this is a good book. Whether or not Chase saved the Ford Motor Company I don't know but he sure made it a better company. What a brilliant and take guy.

If you're going to automotive business history, this is a pretty interesting account of what post-World War II Ford was like, including the decision to keep the V8 after it was almost eliminated.
