Rate this book
This is an enchanting adventure tale which shows by analogy how positive thoughts can enrich and actively change all of our lives. The main character, a boy called Joseph, struggles with life and feelings of being unloved, when lo and behold Sam the magic genie appears to take him on a journey of his mind! Flying around Joseph's mind on a magic carpet, Sam teaches Joseph about positive thinking and how negative thoughts lead to negative consequences. Brian was born into a travelling fairground family. Further to a nomadic childhood, he left school early with no qualifications and unable to read or write.

He then joined the family amusements business, through which he established a nightclub and became the country’s youngest licensee. Unfortunately, during the UK recession of the late 1980s the business collapsed he lost what seemed like everything: his income, his home and his marriage. He was 29 years old, £1 million in debt and still relatively unable to read or write.

It was at this seemingly low point that Brian discovered the keys to success: that you can change your life by changing your thoughts and feelings about it.

Using simple but powerful techniques, Brian learned to hold positive thoughts by setting goals, and through those goals he gradually transformed both himself and his life.

20 years later, and Brian is an international speaker on human potential, and has empowered hundreds of thousands of people with his unique systems for success.

An hour's read but brimming with positivity and the power of thoughts. "Everyone in the world has a Genie, Joseph. Every single person in the world has their very own special Genie." How very true! It is our thoughts that make or break us. I love how Brian Mayne has given us an insight on the 'journey' of a thought in such a nice manner. Everything takes place at the 'speed' of thought and whatever you think about will start to happen very quickly!

If you think it's hard then hard is what it will be! If you think you can, you can and if you think you can't, you can't! Simplified version on how to think of only positive thoughts and best things! LOA has never been so nicely explained. :)

If you're down the dumps and you feel it just can't get any worse, hold this book and it will leave you smiling and embracing life like never before. :)
