Relationships aren’t built on secrets, and I’ve got a big one.
I’ve got to be the unluckiest person alive. I mean, abducted by aliens? What are the chances? Only these aliens, they’ve got another thing coming if they think I’m just going to lie here and take it. Just wait till I find myself a weapon.
When my spaceship crashes--because, of course--just outside the Alien Hotel, I decide to check in. Just for one night, I tell myself. I should be finding a place to hide out, not ending up in the arms of the giant, red alien named Sutek.
He acts tough and commands me about, but touches me softly. The way he looks at me ignites a need inside of me I haven’t felt for a long time. And for just a brief moment, I find myself wondering if alien’s aren’t so bad.
The question can I really trust him?
“Oh No, I Crashed A Spaceship And Kissed An Assassin” is a humorous, steamy sci-fi romance set in the “At The Alien Hotel” series that you won’t be able to put down. Expect intergalactic miscommunications, perilous danger, and possessive alien mates.
I liked the plot and how the author added their own spin on the whole abduction and alien trope. I also really appreciated that the fmc took everything so well. No freakouts or denial, just took the situation as it is and ran with it. It was very refreshing. The MMC was the typical I don't deserve you because I have done such awful things but he didn't insist on that too long and accepted the fmcs love rather quickly, so no need to yell at the book that he should just be grateful for her and move on.
I would have liked if the book was a bit longer so they could get to know each other better but I understand that in this instance the timeline made sense and adding more days or even weeks in between wouldnt have worked. There were a few things that didn't really add up, like she apparently knew his name before he introduced himself. They were far and few in between but obvious enough that it knocked a star of. I would have given the book 4 stars but then had to settle on 3.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
A cute little alien romance and I'm here for it! I loved that the main character,Elana wasn't trying to deny her attraction to the hot red alien guy Sutek and vise versa. I liked that there was smut and action in the story. I would have liked it to a tad bit longer but otherwise I'll be reading the rest of the alien hotel series as they come out! Thanks so much to Kate Sinner for letting me read the first book in the series!
Super cute read! I am looking forward to seeing how the series unfolds. Humor, Mates, spice, found family..and an alien hotel. This was a good start to the series!
Gleeful Goblin Review: This book is actually laugh out loud funny and was so up my alley in terms of humor it was perfect. The MMC is a newly retired assassín now in charge of security for a hotel venture and in this early scene is talking to the Prince who's a major side character about the arrival of a critic to their grand opening. I just gotta say, this is one of the more unique and memorable meet cutes I've seen for a couple and I am here for it. "Everything was going according to plan until this critic insisted on arriving before any other guest. At least he’s been apprised of the situation, now fully aware that staff will not be present upon his early arrival. Still, I can’t help but think it would be easier to just take the critic on a nice jungle hike. No one would ever find the body. No one would ever know. “Sutek...” Prince Rist’s voice is low with warning, as if he can read my mind. He cannot. Our species does not have that capability. “No disappearances. No killing. No drugging. Not even unplanned vacations! Just make conversation, understand?” I huff, crossing my arms across my chest. Easier said than done. “Look, once we’ve done this one task with the critic, it’s going to be smooth operating from here on out.” Suddenly, a deafening boom cracks through the air, interrupting our conversation. We both drop into battle-ready crouches, scanning for the threat. In the distance, a small ship flies through the atmosphere, trailing smoke and flames on its entry. “You just had to jinx it, didn’t you?” I say to Rist with a sigh. “I thought I told you no shooting ships from the sky! You’ve got to stop doing that!” Prince Rist exclaims. He’s not so panicked as he is frustrated. I don’t know whether I should be amused that he expects that sort of behavior from me or not. “That wasn’t me,” I tell him calmly. “I haven’t activated the anti-craft turrets yet.” “Turrets? What turrets?” Oops. I shouldn’t have said that last bit out loud. Rist glares at me, likely fighting the urge to throttle me right then. I watch the air around the ship burn during its descent. Usually, a ship would have slowed by now. “Well, it looks like someone forgot to read their ‘How to Make an Atmospheric Entry for Idiots’ manual,” I scoff as I study the ship, trying to divert his attention from my slip of the tongue. My amusement turns to a grimace as the small ship hurtles unsteadily towards us, rattling the hotel’s windows. It shows no signs of slowing or changing its course. A spaceship crashing is a terrible affair. Death usually follows, along with lost cargo. It’s the last thing my comrades and I need, especially if the Galactic Federation decides to investigate—the Peacekeepers have a history of sticking their snouts in things that aren’t their business. I watch in horror as the tiny ship flies directly towards us. “Um, is it going to hit us?” Rist asks, his face showing the first signs of his nerves. We haven’t had the best of luck lately, and the last thing we need is for a spaceship to crash into a building we’ve just finished renovating. I hold my ground and try to determine the ship’s trajectory, despite my instincts screaming at me to run away. “I calculate the odds to be... not ideal,” I reply as the ship barrels closer. “But we should be fine.” “How very reassuring,” Rist deadpans. His fingers twitch as he clutches the thick stone balustrade in front of him. I have to give it to him, for someone whose not experienced front line combat, he’s got nerves as tough as sorium. “It’s not stopping…” Prince Rist states the obvious, real fear growing in his voice. Yeah… we should have run while we had the chance."
This is a very tongue-in-cheek and sarcasm fueled alien romance so if you like your MC's quirky, snarky, and totally gone on each other you need this book in your life. 5/5 Stars.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have to confess I totally went for this book based on it's title as it seemed like it was going to be fun, and I wasn't disappointed. It was quirky, hilarious in spots with some action and spice. It's a quick read only being 105 pages but I definitely enjoyed it and I'll be continuing with the other books. It wasn't until I was looking for the picture to go with my review that I realised there is a prequel called Oh No, I Got Myself Abducted And Kissed By An Alien Pirate (it doesn't come up with the other books) so I'll be reading that one before continuing with the others.
For such a short book it does manage to pack in quite a bit, and I adored the two leads Elana and Sutex who both managed to make me laugh, swoon and root for them all the way through. Elana starts the story running for her life after being abducted by dragon-slaver aliens (there's a sentence I never thought I'd write), and escaping in a pod, crash landing outside a alien run hotel. Elana was funny, smart but clumsy along with having a feisty streak a mile by long which made her an instant hit with me.
Enter Sutex, an assassin now working as head of security at the hotel, along with some of his friends who is waiting for a critic to review and rate the place before guests start to arrive. Well as you've probably guessed it's a case of mistaken identity and shenanigans ensue. Sutex although being an assassin can be deadly, but underneath is a pure cinnamon roll who just wants to be loved and now live in peace running the hotel. Yeah I definitely had a soft spot for him.
The idea of a hotel run by aliens who have their own dark pasts but want to help others seeking salvation was an interesting premise. So I may have come for the title but I'll be staying to read the rest of the series as I want to see the rest of the handsome aliens get their HEAs. Totally recommend 😁
Elana (h) awakens to find herself abducted by aliens and eludes the bumbling dragon-like aliens on their own spaceship before she's able to make a getaway in an escape pod. Sutek (H) is working with Prince Rist to get the Alien Hotel ready in the days before the grand opening. There's some confusion as to what Rist wants Sutek to do with a critic who's due shortly and wants to check out the hotel before it even opens - Sutek was a former assassin and Rist wants him to take care of the critic... Sutek and Rist are shocked when the escape pod crashes into the hotel grounds, and even more so when they spy Elana in the wreckage. Sutek is immediately drawn to Elana and insists on caring for her as she recovers and tries to figure out the new situation she's landed in, a situation she further compounds by letting him mistakenly believe her to be the critic. Things quickly heat up between Sutek and Elana, even as he worries that he's not worthy of her, and she worries what will happen when he realizes she's been misleading him about her identity. But her abductors aren't done with her yet and the real has yet to show up... Hot and steamy alien-human romance with plenty of action, love, and humor - there are just so many things that will have you laughing with every page. Elana is so funny with the things she keeps landing herself in, but she's a real fighter too and ready to stand side-by-side with Sutek in battle. Sutek is so caring and protective and comes with his own humor too.
ELANA is running away from a dragon looking creature. He keeps calling her pet. Then when he gets involved in an argument with another one she manages to escape and get into an escape pod. Meanwhile on planet Cardonia, SUTEK is having a discussion with Prince Rist about a critic who's coming to check out their hotel. Sutek is an assassin and when his Prince ashs him to handle the critic, his first though how will hide the body. So not what the Prince wants. As they are discussing this, a ship punches through the atmosphere and crashes in front of their hotel. When they open the hatch they find a human woman unconscious. Sutek is suddenly very protective of her and won't let his Prince touch her. He cares for her and finds himself drawn to her more and more. Elana can't understand why she feels so drawn to him either. It's confusing especially when he tends to her needs like food and clothing then runs away. He finally manages to figure out things after Elana talks to him. Then insanity hits when the aliens who kidnapped Elana show up. Will she be safe or taken again? What about the critic they are waiting upon? Space will never be the same!! OMG! I couldn't stop chuckling my way through the story. Yes it sort of kind of got serious but the chuckles still abound!! This is a to go to book to read and reread!!!.

Elana wakes up as a slave to a bumbling dragon-like alien. Intent on escape, she manages to commandeer an escape pod and crash land it in front of the Alien Hotel. Sutek is an ex-assassin trying to put his past behind him as he runs security at the Alien Hotel. Tasked with seeing to all the needs of a hotel critic, he mistakes Elana for said critic. As the attraction between the two of them comes to a boiling point, can Sutek and Elana trust each other enough to reveal their pasts?
Oh No, I Crashed A Spaceship and Kissed an Assassin is a cute, fun novella with plenty of spice. My only regret is we get extremely little in terms of backstories for the two main characters. We know Elana has some emotional trauma from her ex leaving her suddenly for another woman, but almost nothing else about her as a person. Sutek's past is fleshed out a tiny bit more, but leads to more questions. Why would a prince lead a coup? Wouldn't he already be part of the established government? The lack of background dilutes any personal growth of the characters, but the novella is still plenty entertaining and humorous.
An enjoyable quick read nonetheless.

Elana, the female human lead, awakens to find a draconic humanoid claiming she’s a slave and must obey. Determined to escape, she ends up in an escape pod and crashes into an empty hotel about to open for business.
Sutek, the male alien lead, is an ex-assassin and now protector of his exiled prince. They’re setting up a hotel and expecting an advance critic who will make or break the hotel’s opening. When Elana appears, they’re unsure if she’s the critic but Sutek knows he’s deeply attracted to her… he’s also sure she wouldn’t want an assassin for a mate.
But the aliens Elana escaped from want her back, and there’s still a hotel critic coming…
This novella is dual POV, and an interesting, amusing sci fi romance. I found the miscommunications between characters slightly cringe inducing but I enjoyed the story enough to get over it. I enjoyed Elana’s resilience and self-determination. I enjoyed Sutek’s protectiveness and his compassion and care for Elana and others. I enjoyed their relationship development.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
“I knew when I met you that you’d either be my undoing or my salvation,”
Book 1 of At the Alien Hotel series! Elana is in a world of hurt after being abducted from Earth and is to be sold as a slave by her dragon alien captor. She manages to steal an escape pod and crash lands on the nearby planet on the grounds of a new hotel just about to open. She meets Sutek, head of security, who in his previous job was assassin for Prince Rist who has now opened the hotel. Their chemistry is immediate but she is mistaken for the hotel critic who is due to show up for the Grand Opening. Elana has all kinds of spunk and snark, as well as the ability to kick butt which is perfect to hold her own with Sutek and they are a formidable pair. The story, while fairly short, packs a lot into it and also steamy. A little more backstory on Elana would be good. I thought reading the prequel, Oh no, I got myself abducted and kissed an alien pirate, introduced me to Sutek and the gang. Buckle up for a fun, bumpy and action packed ride!! Loved the ending. What's a girl supposed to do when she is kidnapped by aliens? She escapes and in doing so, runs into the arms of another alien. One wants to enslave her, the other… has a different sort of bond in mind. It's a very light sort of story; in some cases glorified fanfic. The reader learns very little background of the characters, but the idea that we are seeing humans through an alien understanding was certainly novel for a romance. Personally, I felt the storyline could have used more work. The reader learns why there is this grand alien hotel, but not why humans are part of a slave trade. I would have loved to learn more about the Prince character and this strange world she has found herself in. More importantly, the sex scenes needed a bit more steam to them. They're not bad, but it felt the plot was solely hanging on these scenes, with the rest of the story just wrapped them. It feels like a great start to an intriguing series, but at the moment, like an early draft. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
In recent years, I started loving Alien romance books and this is why Elana and Sutek's spicy story was the perfect distraction from my everyday life.
She is kidnapped by alien hunters, but because she is really feisty, she manages to escape. During her descent from the alien spaceship, her escape pod crashes in a brand new alien hotel. This hotel in particular is owned by a prince and is managed by his right hand, Sutek.
When Elana's escape pod crashed, Sutek was the one that saved her. From the moment he sees her, he knows that she is his. It did take a while for them to realize that they were meant to be together and the journey was wonderful.
The novella was really short, but it was full of spice and smut 🥵🥵🥵. Their love scenes were just a chef's kiss 👌. I needed this passionate novella, and I am glad that I've read it.
***I received an ARC from Booksirens and this is my voluntary review.***
I really enjoyed this book as a quick read. It gave off a bit of an Ice Planet Barbarians feel, with Elana being abducted by a race of aliens and finding safety in another. But that's the only similarity. She finds reassurance with Sutek, who is immediately transfixed with the soft human that is assumed to he the critic for the hotel his friend built along with him.
There is a little mention of two character of a story before this, but you don't need to read it to understand what is going on in this book. There were times I feel like I wanted more background on both characters, and there were a few things that did not make sense to me. (Ie at one moment there were brackets that read like a note from the author about describing more of the scene).
Overall, it was an enjoyable read and I cannot wait for the next in the series.

After stirring up trouble at the palace, Prince Rist and his guard/assassin Sutek find refuge with the Federation and are restoring a resort on a faraway planet. Elena is kidnapped by aliens and has been told by one of her dragon-like captors that she is a slave. Not if she can help it, she runs. She stumbles into an escape pod, flees, and crash-lands in the courtyard of the Alien Hotel. Sutek is tall, red, and handsome. Elana and Sutek are quite drawn to each other, but both are wary at first. Both have a past that makes trust a hard thing to do. This is a quick read and enjoyable sci-fi romance. The characters are entertaining, mostly likable, and at times funny. There is capture, escape, rescue, threats from dragons, surprising discovery, more rescue, and a very steamy romance. I look forward to more stories in the series. I hope Rist has one waiting in the wings. I received an copy of this book via BookSirens and voluntarily reviewed it.
Elana is a human woman that has bravery that will get her to freedom, a mate and save other while promoting the Alien hotel her mate and friend are running. Shes smart and quick thinking, able to see past what other deem unworthy. Sutek, an alien male former assassin, is attracted immediately to Elana. He thinks he's unworthy of her, but she excepted him anyways. He protects her from the slavers that come after her, but he also respects her as she wants to fight back those that want to take her freedom away. He's also impressed when he learns she wants to protect him and when she saves other human women. This book is fun to read even while dealing with slavery issues. The damsel in distress is bad@ss when riled up and has the perfect man standing by her all the way. I can't wait to read more in this series where the Prince and Taruk find their mates.

I would rate this a strong 2.5 stars, but I am rounding up to 3 stars. I think this just needed one more strong edit, as notes for the author to go back and add upon or revise was left, the FMCs name was misspelled while the MMCs was basically professing his love, and the FMC knew the MMCs name in her inner thoughts before the MMC ever introduced himself, and then three pages later, she told him to introduce himself lol. So I think one final look through would’ve been made this a solid 4-4.5 star read for me!
Besides these things, I liked the idea of this book! I love alien romances and I liked the idea of the alien hotel! For how short it was, I think it was pretty fun!
2.5 ⭐️ 2 🌶️
Elana: Human FMC, abducted by dragon-like aliens, but managed to escape them via escape pod, crash landed in front of the alien hotel. Pretends to be the hotel critic to stay at the hotel.
Sutek: alien assassin MMC, runs the alien hotel with his best friend and the prince
This was a fantastic book the main characters had me laughing out loud. Elena was kidnapped from Earth by Alien dragon/ men and is to be a slave but she escapes and they give chase but she manages to make it into a room with pod things and as soon as she gets in it starts to count down and then she crash lands on a strange planet where there is a gorgeous male who thinks she is a hotel Critic they have been waiting for so she goes along with it. Sutek is a Volscian male from the planet Latium and use to be an assassin who was saved by the Prince who he now works for as his bodyguard when he meets a feisty human female that has his heart racing for the first time in his life and he want s her to be his mate but will she want a man like me with my past. How does it all turn out and do they get there HEA or not.
Oh No, I Crashed A Spaceship and Kissed an Assassin was really short. Elana wakes up on a spaceship, having been kidnapped and sold as a slave to some bumbling but big and scary aliens. She manages to make it to an escape pod where she lands on a planet near a just-opening alien hotel. There's sort of a mistaken identity as these aliens wonder if she's the hotel reviewer they are expecting (no real reason to believe the reviewer would be human and crash land in their garden but could be?). She doesn't do a great job of pretending to understand this new world around her so thankfully for her she's unconscious when they find her.
Elana doesn't have it all together, but she's trying. Sutek feels inferior because he used to be an assassin. The story can be a little unintentionally goofy. But it has some interesting technology and has a happy ending.
💮The main characters make quite a pair! ❤️🔥 He is a rouge assasin. She is a smart, resourceful woman.
The MMC is absolutely captivated by soft and curvy female. The chemistry and "naughty" playfulness between them is right on spot! 🤩
💮The story is insta love-lust, with spicy dominance of alpha male and streching kink for both 😉
💮I wish that there was a little bit more reluctance in relationship from FMC side (as the story starts with her abduction by bad guys), it would make a story better in my point of view.
💮The world building is decent and the plot interesting. The writing is light and fun to read. I enjoyed the author's sarcastic sense of humour. I am waiting for next book in this series! 🤩

This was a cute enjoyable insta-love alien rom com that's about Elana and Sutek. Elana wakes up on a spaceship and discovers she's been abducted by dragon-like aliens to be a slave. Running away from a green dragon-alien, she ends up escaping using a space pod. The escape pod lands outside an Alien Hotel run by Sutek a former assassin and Prince Rist a deposed prince. They find Elana among the wreckage whom they believe is the hotel critic they been expecting. Checking her in. Sutek shows the hotel to Elana discovering she's his fated mate. As they discover their blooming relationship the alien-dragons show up claiming their slave. Will the alien-dragons succeed? The characters were wonderfully personable and engaging, the romance that bloomed between them was delightfully steamy, and the story was entertaining in this copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.
I love 🥰 this beautiful, exciting and delicious series. Amazing storytelling and fantastic characters that capture your imagination with delightful, thrilling and heartwarming moments. Elana is kidnapped by alien dragon slavers, I loved her courage and determination to escape, she steals a ship and crashed in garden of the Alien Hotel owned by Prince Rist and Sutek a retired assassin. Sutek pulls Elana out of wrecked ship, he instantly wants to protect and care for her. Elana and Sutek are delightful together, confused, fascinated and deeply attracted. When the dragon slavers attack demanding the return of their slave Sutek and Elana will not be defeated and they find a shocking surprise inside the enemy ship. Wonderful reading and beautiful happy ever after.🥰🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
So this wasn't my cup of tea. I felt it was super rushed and everything felt crammed into this novella-length book. It easily could have been a full-length story with more detail and kept the plot and action the same. Elara and Sutek were the definition of insta-love. She wakes up from the crash and immediately starts thinking about how hot her alien savior is. He's intrigued because she's a human, but he was admiring how much he was attracted before he even opened the crashed ship to get her out. It takes him all of a few minutes in her company to start feeling more than lust. I love when the whole "kidn@pped women brought to an alien planet and fall in love with the aliens" plotline is done right, but sadly, this wasn't it.
First of all, you have to read this book! It has a fun story, it is hilarious from time to time, very very well written, and original; quite different from most abduction stories. I liked the heroine from the start. I like that she is not the whiny type and that she grabs the opportunity and acts quickly. The first part of the book surprised me, had me laughing and grinning! I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the book as well and I can’t wait for the next in the series.
I am “afraid” this author has me hooked for all her upcoming books. I think she is a brilliant writer!.
Yes I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. But I can honestly recommend this book and this author, the book is awesome!
'Greenie holds up a taloned finger like he’s chastising a naughty child, “You are my slave. You should do what I tell you to.” Like, does he seriously expect me to just hang around and do everything he says just like that? I scramble backward like a crab as Greenie keeps approaching me with carefully measured steps. Maybe he’s like a T-Rex; if I remain motionless, he won’t be able to see me? A girl can hope.'
I loved this book. It was such a fun, quick read. It doesn't waste any time as our heroine Elana is running away from one of her alien slavers. Being in her mind was very entertaining and I definitely laughed aloud more than once. I loved Sutek and thought he and Elana had such great chemistry. A fun adventure. One of my favorite books by this author. 5 stars.
Oh No, I Crashed A Spaceship And Kissed An Assassin is book 1 in the At The Alien Hotel series. Although this could be read as a standalone book I suggest reading Oh No, I Got Myself Abducted And Kissed An Alien Pirate first. It is a prequel novella to this series and should not be missed!
The At The Alien Hotel series is all extraterrestrial, a little spacey fun and a whole lot of spice! Get ready for an amusing, adventurous and entertaining series filled with sexy aliens, instant attraction and sassy human females who know what they want!
I am diving right into the next book in this outer space adventure… Oh No, I Stole An Alien Furball And Kissed A Beastmaster!
Oh No I Crashed a Spaceship and Kissed an Assassin is a super fast and quick read, I'm obsessed!
~ Don't stress about anything, read it for the vibes! ~
We first meet Elana (the FMC) running away from these dragon like aliens who abducted her from Earth. After hijacking an escape pod, she manages to crash land at Alien Hotel.
Cut to Sutek (the MMC) who works at the Alien Hotel and protects an exiled Prince, where the two of them assumed Elana was a hotel critic about to review their new business.
*whispers* she was not 😄
I would say more but it's a really short book with only 114 pages so just read it because it's soooo good! 😜
It was a very good quick read. I was presently surprised for such a small book a lot happens in it. A good mix of sci-fi, comedy, love, and action.
Elana is running for her life from a couple of dragon like aliens. This is her first discovery. Aliens are real. Escaping, of course, she ends up running into another muscular but gentler aliens. Sutek us the head of security of the Aliens Hotel, but he has a darker past. What will he think of the new human he finds?
A good fun read and a lot of knteresting things to come in this series if I am not mistaken. A good quick escape of a book. I am also interested in seeing how Elana develops further.
Escaping from alien dragon slavers who had kidnapped her from Earth, MFC Elana manages to get herself into an escape pod which crashes outside the newly renovated Alien Hotel. There she meets MMC Sutek assassin to Prince Rist who runs the place and the rest as they say is history! This is a short read so certain scenarios obviously couldn’t be fully fleshed out but the insta- love and little bit of action made the story an entertaining Sci-Fi Romance read which was nicely written, humorous at times with an ending that is HFN with a promise of more to come.
