"Ana, estudiante" is an easy reader for learners who already know the basics of Spanish. It's a funny story about love and friendship. This Spanish reader contains lots of useful expressions you need in everyday situations (common greetings, buying things, talking to friends). The short chapters and simple sentences help you broaden your vocabulary in meaningful contexts.

El libro está muy facile para un A1 estudiante pero el contexto no está bien, el escritor no explicó quein está la chica con Pablo ni cómo Ana quiere salir con su profesor y el está mal con ella

My second Paco Ardit novella. The sentences are built wonderfully: short, simple and lead to a quick comprehension of words you wouldn't usually get - the context implies the meaning. obviously the book shouldn't get more than 3 stars just because the plot makes zero sense, character development is poor yada-yada-yada but (!) those aren't the reasons you really pick up this book you pick it up to improve your language skills in Spanish and it achieves that beautifully. Finished this thing in a single day and i quite enjoyed it too. I will definitely be picking up more of Paco's stuff in my quest to know Spanish properly.
This is another great book by Paco Ardit for beginner Spanish learners. If you started studying Spanish recently read Paco's books first before going on to regular books in Spanish.
As a Spanish student I was looking for reading materials at a beginner level that was in the format of a book, and I found it! I would have given this a four star rating as the story was fairly entertaining and it was a useful learning material, but the ending was a bit off in my opinion, as the questionable behavior of the love interest was never confronted or explained before it was forgiven. Overall I enjoyed it though, and was impressed at his ability to write within the constraints of an A1 reader. I would definitely recommend this to anyone learning Spanish, and look forward to reading more by this author as my studies continue!
I'm reviewing this series of books to decide if I'd recommend it to my students learning Spanish. I definitely would. It's very simple, and it cleverly includes vocabulary and structures that beginners often struggle with. There aren't too many words per page, which makes the text less daunting to students who haven't yet built up stamina for reading in Spanish. The short sections also invite rereading.
The downside is that this is a dialect of Spanish my students aren't studying, but that's not too big of a deal.
The narrative jumps around from chapter to chapter and thus lacks context, which is important for language learners. I teach Spanish (ele) at the secondary level, and the content of this book makes it unusable for minors.
On a personal level, I loathed the story and wanted to take a shower after I got done reading it. I am hoping that some of the author’s other beginner novels are better structured and have a story worth sharing.
I'm a Spanish beginner, and found the book easy to follow while also learning a stack of new things. The story is good considering the restrictions on the author to keep it at beginner level. Happy to recommend it to anybody who has a basic level of Spanish understanding.
I was reading this to see if with my current Spanish level i can understand the most of it! I did, except the last few chapter, those were a bit harder, mostly because there were words you dont use in everyday conversations, which is a definition of A1
But i give it 3.5 stars and will definitely try to read all the other Spanish books of this series/ author!
Story is fun and I think that the difficulty level is just right. As an absolute beginner, I could read and understand most of it, though there were words that I had to look up, but I feel it was just the right amount. HOWEVER, I find the ending of the story uncomfortable. Guy did something unethical and should have lost his job.
This is my first book in Spanish, i really like to read this story. Its simple, easy to understand and fun. I'm gonna read other books from same author,i believe its really helpful to improve vocabulary.
My first book read in Spanish. The content is OK: Argentina, a young student, exams, love etc. What matters the most is the whole idea of a book written at the beginner's level. I highly recommend it to anyone who has just started to learn Spanish.
Me gusta este libro! El libro es fácil y los capítulos son muy cortos. Anna es un estudiante y a ella le gusta ir a la escuela. A ella le interesa la psicología. También Anna tiene un enamoramiento en el profesor. A ella no le gustan los chicos de su edad.
This is the first book I ever attempted to read in Spanish. Although it was a real struggle back then, I can look back at that moment now and see how important this book was to my future success.
Highly recommended for beginners. I think combining this book with a language learning app/self-study module would be a very effective way to progress from almost zero.
