Rocky andPeyton— half of this was a 4 star read— the rest was so far fetched it was boring. Peyton has a stalker.. after her roommate is murdered she ran to Rocky —her ex short term boyfriend’s dad. She has never met Rocky before but heard he was a badass. They fall into Instalust. Rocky keeps instigating sex then pushing away because his son still wants Peyton back. Rinse and repeat for most of the book. Meanwhile a stalker is sending threats via text. Could have done without that it was lame.

Forbidden MC Romance

When Peyton’s roommate shows up dead, she goes to the only person she thinks can kelp her and that is her ex’s father. Rocky is a member of the Steel Demons MC and sees Peyton for the beautiful woman that she is. Talk about a forbidden romance. Rocky is all about protecting the beauty but the chemistry between these two is undeniable. What a page turner!

Rocky and Peyton will steal your heart!

Loved it! This second installment in the Steel Demons MC series by Sarina Hart had it all. It was a well-weaved rollercoaster of emotions that left me with a smile on my face – HEA is guaranteed.

I loved both Rocky and Peyton. Peyton has just graduated from college when she finds herself in a perilous situation – someone kills her roommate and she receives a threatening text. She has no idea who it can be, but she seeks refugee in the most unlikely source; her ex’s father. Nolan – her sweet ex – had mentioned in passing that his father was an ex-military with connections, so, she thought he could help. And there she went. Rocky’s world shakes the minute he lays eyes on her. He tries to resist the undeniable attraction for the sake of his newly established relationship with his beloved son (who had said that he wanted her back!) – but it’s impossible. I mean, HOW can you resist your once-in-a-lifetime match? He is a good person at heart, he truly loves his son, he is a protector. And his feelings for Peyton, his internal struggle makes him even more lovable in my eyes. He has all the amazing qualities any woman would want. Peyton is also amazing! She is tough and vulnerable at the same time. Honest to a fault, to herself and to others – she has never strung Nolan along and was clear that she wanted to remain friends because she didn’t have romantic feelings for him, even if she tried to give it a go for a short time. She was hurt in her life and abandonment is her worst fear. Her past experiences had taught her that she has to depend on herself alone, because no one in her life had put her first. Not once. So, while Rocky pushed her away, she tried to comply. But fatal attraction is irresistible. How will those two find their way to each other? How will Nolan react? What will happen with Payton’s stalker in the loose? I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to find out!

All in all, it was a great addition to the series and I loved every page. I can’t wait to find out about more of the MC brothers and their significant others, who I am sure will bring them to their knees.

Peyton Brooks is graduating from college. She and her bestie are out sort of celebrating. Then comes the day when she is free free free. Now she can look for a job and a new apartment without the annoying room mate, Chloe. She comes back to the apartment after celebrating her graduation to find something wet on the floor. Then she smells something metallic. She gets spooked and calls the cop and just as she's talking to them she sees her room mate laying on the floor in a puddle of blood. She runs out the door only to return when the cops get there. As she's leaving to go to her bestie's house she gets a text message telling her the body should have been hers. She runs right to her ex boyfriend's father.
Rocky is having a wonderful dream about twin sisters when a pounding from his front door wakes him. When he opens the door there stands the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. After trying to calm her down she tells him what happened. Now she's staying with him.
Rocky feels drawn to her and is mentally telling himself he can't be attracted to his son's ex. He gets his MC to help him start to find out who is after her and why.
Peyton is drawn to Rocky like a moth to a flame. No bad Peyton! She can't be drawn to her ex's father! But she needs his help so she agrees to follow his rules...stay with him and to do what he says especially if it will save her life.
Now all Rocky has to hope is that his son doesn't find out too soon his ex is with him. The only problem Rocky has is he's drawn to his son's ex. So he keeps a distance between them until he doesn't then he feels guilt. Peyton can't handle the back and forth, the hot and the cold, that Rocky gives off. But she's trying to focus on staying alive. Someone is out to get her and emotional issues aren't helping. Will she and Rocky be able to get their emotions in line? Will they even be able to have something together with his guilt and her feeling like she's never enough?
A fascinating story that will keep the reader trying to figure who is who!.

too fast faced imo. the first one i really liked, this one was fun too but the time frame didn't feel believable in the least.

youre telling me you wrote this premise and isn't slow burn? How are we supposed to like these two, if they fuck within a day and dont worry and catch glaces for at least a week? I mean i still like them but it felt sloppy.

Then if ine were to read the first book, the pregnancy plot line 1:1 copied from the first book, including the scene were he finds out. That was disappointing, like at least skip it for one book before you do repeats, now i keep wondering if each book of the series repeasts that plot, luckily i love that trope, but the author could've changed it up a little, i have the urge to check if its copied word by word or just closely lol.

IDK the book was disappointing, i loved everything about it in theory but the execution juts lacked. I did pick it up easy and enjoyed it, but the critique still stands.
The world feels comfortable and sweet and i love myself a non-dark MC!
The energy and the brothers was perfect tho, i liked the son a lot.

Despite it all, ill keep reading them, but i hope the next one will be better again.

Rocky/Peyton. This book was actually cringe worthy. I just could not get into this couple. First off Peyton was Rocky’s 22 year old son Nolan’s ex girlfriend. This was not an old time girlfriend it was a recent girlfriend in which Nolan was still holding a torch for. So we are not gonna discuss the age difference, but the author doesn’t either so I only guessed that there was at least a 22 year difference. The matter in which Peyton and Rocky meet is just not believable. Peyton, who never met Rocky, runs to Rocky’s house and asks him to keep her safe when she feels threatened. I liked the relationship of the guys in this book and some of the parts were funny, but this story was just not for me. The other thing I hated about this book is how Rocky tells Nolan he’s in love with Peyton and Nolan was now in a relationship with Peyton’s best friend Lisa and Nolan was so hurt that Peyton picked Rocky over Nolan. I felt sorry for Lisa at that point even though her relationship with Nolan went further. Makes me think of her as second best.

Peyton continues to receive threats; she now knows it was supposed to be her that was killed instead of her roommate. There is a chemistry between the two, and things happen! Will their lack of communication come between them? What happens when Nolan finds out what is really going on with his father and his ex? Heat- 🌋🌋☄️ (1🌋=2☄️) It tended towards IKEA sex; i.e. it read like furniture assembly instructions.

Tropes- Oh this one is so very tropey. Age Gap, Damsel in Distress, Dysfunctional Family FTW, Ex’s Father, Forbidden Love, Forced Proximity, Surprise Pregnancy, …and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
What I thought- I just wasn’t crazy about this book. I don’t feel that there was much in the line of character development and the side characters were especially vague. The plot was pretty standard and not original. It didn’t have the Fake Relationship trope, but that was about it, as it had pretty much all the rest of the major romance tropes.

This is the first book I've read by this author and she sure penned a fast-paced and exciting age-gap romance for Rocky and Peyton. Peyton goes to Rocky for protection after her roommate is killed and she receives a message about how it was supposed to have been her....yikes! Well, Rocky is her ex's father but he's tough and able to give her protection. However, he couldn't protect her from his desire and how the chemistry sparked strong and fast between them. Expect the mystery, drama, danger, humour, angst and spicy heat to have you madly flipping pages to see how things will unfold for these great characters. I loved the epilogues and the glimpses into how complicated this wonderful family is ;D

This is an Age Gap romance between Rocky and his son's Ex. I loved the idea behind the storyline and couldn't wait to dive in. Rocky is trying to establish a relationship with his son, Nolan, now that he is back in his life. The last thing he wants to do is get involved with Peyton and lose whatever ground he had made. However, the attraction between the two can't be denied.

Hiding out from someone trying to kill her, Peyton has nowhere to go to get away from Rocky or his son. This is a very good, emotional story as Peyton and Rocky try to navigate a forbidden relationship and the danger chasing after Peyton.

This is the story of Peyton and Rocky, he is the father of her ex. When she becomes the target of a stalker who kills her roommate instead of her, she asks Rocky for help because he is a member of the MC the Steel Demons. From the first moment it is clear to him that she is beautiful and that she belongs to him, he does everything he can to protect her and find the stalker before he can harm Peyton. Wonderful book with plenty of action, some drama and danger and plenty of steam between them, I enjoyed their story.

Rocky is the second book in the Steel Demons MC series. The storyline is full of steamy romance, drama, suspense, action, murder, kidnapping, twists, some humor, a little craziness, and characters that you absolutely come to love. Rocky and Peyton's happily ever after is a long and winding road filled with both needing to work on their communication skills. You need a map to figure out the relationships when it is all said and done.

Rocky was fun to read, and I could not put it down. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, Maverick!

Who would you run to if your room-mate is brutality murdered in your apartment. I never would have guessed an ex's father but I guess if he is an ex military man turned biker you might feel safe with him.
Peyton seems to have bagged a stalker who will not give up his delusion of them being together and when all is revealed you will not be surprised and can probably see how events took place as Peyton isn't exactly nice, if anything I thought she was alittle self centred even when it came to chasing her ex's dad she had no regard for how Nolan would take this.
So the ending was very surprising to say the least.
Look forward to reading the next MC man to fall.

I thought it was sweet how he wanted to protect his son. I also loved their chemistry. However, there was a lot about this book I would either change or need clarity on.

I understand sexual attraction, but I felt like the characters didn’t really have time to get to know each other enough to feel how they did so that timeline threw me off.

Also a mid twenty year old forgetting her birth control pills so frequently? She didn’t seem mature enough mentally for me to see her with such an older man.

There was a lot of puzzle pieces that I felt were missing here and there, or that certain parts were rushed.

It was a decent read.

This action-packed drama is filled with thrilling suspense that kept me glued to the pages. Peyton finds herself in the midst of a killer who killed the wrong woman and had no problem telling her it was supposed to be her. She is alone and has no one to go to until she remembers her ex telling her about his father. Seeking his help starts Rocky and Peyton along their perilous journey that is filled with dangerous twists and turns.

This story has plenty of intriguing characters and storyline. The heroine Ellie has been raising her missing sister's child, Leo for almost four years. Rocky, the President of the Steel Demons MC, didn't know he had a son until he was donating his old phone for charity. Once he finds out he goes to meet his son, Leo, who looks exactly like him. He finds out that someone is stalking Ellie and decides to move her and his son in with him. Then the mystery of dead underage girls starts to plague their city and their businesses.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. I enjoyed pretty much all of the characters This was a book of protection, compassion, kindness, enjoying life, and doing what's right for you, And also falling in love. I enjoyed Rocky and Peyton story. The author did a great job putting these characters together. But I didn't like the tragic circumstances in which they met. I also think that they made a really great couple after they realized they were meant for each other. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Great Story, Needs Better Editing

Peyton and Rocky’s story and characters was excellent ! The problem was the editing ! Someone didn’t check on timeline or continuity of what the characters were wearing or speaking about from one paragraph to the next. So in the middle of a great story you are stopped and going “huh, I thought he was wearing , or but he just said” and it’s flipped to something else altogether. So it was a great stalker, MC, unplanned pregnancy read, but it needed a better proofreader or editor for continuity. 3✨’s

When Peytons roomate is killed she needs protection and goes to the one man she can think of, Rocky, hes exs dad! Rocky was drawn to Peyton but shes off limits in more than one way, shes a job to protect and his sons ex and half his age but heck he wont let this fire cracher go! well written steamy, desires, off limits, action, protection and more. a great additon to the series.

Rocky is book two of the Steel Demons MC Series. It was a good age gap, damsel in distress story.

Peyton needs protection and she comes asking Rocky to protect her. But things are a little awkward as Rocky is her ex's dad. But feelings can't be held back.

There was a lot of mystery involved in this story. Also a lot of moments where they were trying to fight their feelings as they felt this was a taboo relationship.

Forbidden Romance is always fun to read, Rocky falls in love with his son's ex girlfriend. They try to fight the attraction but that didn't work. I loved how Rocky was protective over Peyton as soon as she meets him. Fast paced, age gap romance will have you on the edge of your seat. Can't wait for Maverick's story.

It is instant attraction that becomes love for Peyton and Rocky when she goes to him for protection. Family dynamics cause some issues for them but I liked how it works out. There are other background problems that make things dangerous. However it is kind of sweet how Rocky rescues Peyton and how she protects herself.

Rocky is suppose to be protecting his sons ex when her roommate came up dead after graduation 😳 Rocky and her have an undeniable attraction. Rocky flips back and forth at times (doesnt want to hurt his son) which was sad because she just wanted someone to pick her and love her.

There is a larger story that continues from the first story along with the mystery of the murder in this story. I'm enjoying this series.

Stalker anyone?

I really enjoyed this story.
Peyton was an ex of the man she's falling for.
Rocky won't choose, but at the same time he's hurting both Peyton and his son. What more can he do?
When a Stalker is after Peyton Rocky will do anything to keep her safe. When things are falling apart, Peyton let's Nolan down, forcing him into the arms of her best friend.

How tf do you sleep w/ your ex’s dad 24 hours after meeting & be mad when he tells you he doesn’t want to anymore because of his son?? I could tell who the stalker was right off the bat and just knew this was going to be a repetitive story. They fight about being together, no one pays attention to the stalker, son gets hurt. Writing wasn’t the greatest either.

Great Book

This was pages at Book. This is book 2, of the "Steel Demons MC" series. This book was So entertaining.
This book has age gap, his sons, ex girlfriend, stalker, action, pregnancy, entertaining, unpredictable, HEA, wonderful characters, killer, and so much more. Can't Wait, for the next book.
