First let’s say I give this book 5 stars, well written and a page-turner. You can relate to majority of the book story line. It is bases on family secret, dishonesty, disloyalty and loss of respect and a test of faith, and marriage which was a key component within this book. I love when the family, friends and others can together to support during the circumstances. In the end it brought harmony back to the marriage, family, and community. You saw spiritual warfare and cult played out in the book.

Speechless! This book will keep you guessing what possibly could happen next. Eve and her husband Philip have come full circle in this novel,but not without drama you would not believe. This book like the others reminds us that prayer is the key and the power of intercession can never be taken for granted! I loved the community aspect of the book and the notion that we are in a spiritual fight. Thank you so much for writing a book that has action,adventure,spiritual aspects, and romance all rolled up nice and clean!!! I can’t wait to go back to Habakkuk in the authors next installment!,

Book five of author Kara Hunt's Paper Dolls series was such a joy to read! She writes a suspenseful yet romantic and uplifting tale about Eve whose life is shaken up by evil, murderous forces hitting her from left and right in the series' fictional town of Habbakuk, Missouri. In spite of having already come so far from incredibly heartbreaking trials and tribulations, from her faith to music career and especially her marriage, Eve relies on God and like-minded friends to confront the latest impending doom. I really appreciate how well the author weaves such a twisty and at times scary plot, but with a firm, vibrant focus on true Christian values at the same time. No matter what harsh reality and violence gets thrown at these characters who have gone through so many hardships, we get to see not just their natural fears, their prayers and growth, but the greatness of God strong on each and every page.

I am so honored to have been able to read this next book in the Paper Dolls series! Kara has a beautiful way of incorporating real life situations, feelings, and Christian walks into her fiction! Clean, but so full of life! The reader truly feels as if they are right there with the characters! And oh boy, was this a page turner!! No spoils, but just know that you will pick this book up to read and you will not be able to put this one down!! Kara keeps you on the edge of your seat as the events play out! When you read fiction that puts Christ in the center of the story, and shows the characters living for Jesus in whatever way that looks like (redemption, forgiveness, trust, new Christian, etc), it is so refreshing! Thank you, Kara, for another chapter in the Paper Dolls series!

how to fix a broken marriage

This is such a great suspense book! When someone lets the Lord have control of his life, he can overcome anything. He sees everything differently also. Very well done!!!
