The Fairy Animals of Misty Wood are perfect books for girls. Each cute animal has its own pair of pretty fairy wings, and a special job to do in Misty Wood to make it a wonderful place to live. They will fall in love with these gorgeous, magical kittens, puppies, bunnies and more - animal stories in an enchanted woodland setting.
A cute read for young kids I listened to this on audible when I was in hospital. I thought Paddy was kind of annoying, but it was a sweet, comforting story - and to be fair, I was very out of it from the meds I was on, so who knows, really. 🤷🏻♂️
A fun little world to enter into before bedtime. Read this whole book in 30 minutes. Paddy makes mistakes and then apologizes and helps fix them. Simple messages for my 4 year old.
Paddy the Puppy Fairy It's like someone put all the things they thought a seven-year-old girl would like and pulled a few out of a bowl. Girls like puppies, fairies, magic and birthdays, right? That's enough to carry a book. I read this because a summer reading bingo square was exactly that: Some combination of rainbow/fairy/sparkles/dessert/happy/unicorn/magic/mermaid in one book. Again, I'm sure this series is very formulaic and nothing about it stood out (it's not particularly funny or charming or sweet). There are probably better fluffy easy chapter books out there.
I LOVED THE BOOK I think it was wonderful how paddy was able to make new friends on her birthday and help them when she messed up their leaves breakfast and moss cushion and I think it was amazing how they got to come to her birthday party🎉!
Read it in one sitting with my 5 year old at the library. The language was a little too much for her, and she said, “I don’t know what this says, but I just like you reading to me.”
Paddy lives in the enchanted forest of Misty Wood. His job is to help spread the pollen so the flowers will grow. Paddy is having a birthday and he invites all of his friends to come to the party. As he goes through the forest, he makes new friends to invite to the party.
My daughter enjoyed this book. The book's cover was the first thing that attracted her, but she also loved the illustrations inside. The book begins with a drawing of Misty Wood so the reader can visualize as they read. The font is large and the vocabulary fits with the intended age group. Illustrations throughout the book keep the young reader entertained. Short chapters and a smaller sized book make this perfect for short attention spans and small hands. Parents and teachers will appreciate the age appropriate vocabulary and the enticement to reluctant readers. The reader will love the extra activities at the back of the book that correspond with the story.
I received this book free of charge from Children's Lit in exchange for my honest review.
Misty Wood is an enchanted place where all sorts of fairy animals go about their magical business. In this installment from this sweetly-appealing series from Great Britain, Paddy the Puppy is beyond excited about today. After all, it's his birthday. As he spreads pollen among the flowers, he also causes a bit of trouble since he is just so excited. But the other animals choose to forgive him once they find out that it's his birthday, and they all join him in celebrating the important event. This book, like all the others in the series, has a certain charm that will appeal to young readers since the creatures look so striking with their wings and creep into their hearts with their innocence. Although this might not be my favorite series out there for my own reading, I know many elementary readers will enjoy it.
It's Paddy the Puppy's birthday, and he's so excited he's having trouble performing his everyday fairy puppy task of spreading pollen from flower to flower. In order to burn off a little energy while still being productive, he travels to another field to work, but his mischievousness gets him in trouble a few times along the way. Good thing Paddy is as good at making friends as he is at causing problems.
This is a very sweet, innocent chapter book filled with fairy animals, happy resolutions, and friendship. The chapters are a tad long for the age level, and the illustrations are less frequent than some children may prefer, but the larger font, entertaining topic, and G rating work well for young readers. While this is the third in the series, it stands alone nicely.
This early chapter book is sweet, sweet, sweet! All the animals in Misty Wood have jobs to do and Paddy is the Pollen Puppy who spreads pollen by wagging his tail. Today he is excited because it is his birthday. He wanders through the woods spreading pollen, meeting new friends and trying not to be too excited for his party. At the end of the book, there are puzzles, dot-to-dot, questions and drawing prompts...very fun for K-2nd grade girls.
I would start reading the whole collection because they are really good and quite interesting.
I liked this story because there is puppies and information and there are lots and lots of flowers. Also there are lots of candles which have dandelion clocks instead of fire. I also liked it because there are loads of cute pink noses and there are pigs and cheetahs (and they can fly!!!).
Inside the book all the animals are quite tiny but the babies are even tinier.
Paddy wakes up on his birthday. He wishes he didn't have to go do his work with the other pollen puppies. The other pollen puppies tell him to go get some nectar. On his way to the nectar field, Paddy makes some new friends. When he gets home, he is greeted by a wonderful surprise!
I love this book! It took me forever to get it. You have got to read this book because it is so cool.
Se citeste usor si e plina de magie. Petrecem cateva momente cu catelusul de Polen, Paddy care ne poartă prin Pădurea Inrourata, chiar de ziua lui de naștere.
