About the author

Megan Linski lives in Michigan. She is the author of more than fifty fantasy and paranormal novels which feature themes of friendship, community, and healthy romantic relationships. She has over fifteen years of experience writing books alongside working as a journalist and editor. She graduated from the University of Iowa, where she studied Creative Writing.

Her passions include ice skating and horseback riding. In her free time she enjoys dancing in the snow and drinking fancy coffee while at her natural habitat, the mall.

Megan advocates for the rights of the disabled, and is an activist for mental health awareness.

Megan co-writes the Hidden Legends Universe with Alicia Rades. She also writes under the pen name of Natalie Erin for the Creatures of the Lands series, co-authored by Krisen Lison.

I started doubting the series and ended up almost crying they really survived through it all 😭! This was my first series from this author but now I might read all the other ones, she writes in a way that it's addicting but easy to read... it's a trap that got me 😆.

🪽 You can tell that the romance is part of the story but not is not the focus, it was seeing how Cairo, Cassia, Faline, and Thames are able to manage this sort of situations. Just because they are angels or demons, it's more than that.
🪽 Not going to lie but I was rooting for Faline the entire time, I know Cassia and Cairo worked on their issues but Faline, girl! You did it against all odds! Proud of you, no wonder Thames is so overprotective of her.
🪽 I was appalled with the "masterplan" that Roman was able to almost execute to perfection. I was screaming, that utopia was scary as shit.
🪽 One of the most interesting things was how they were able to find and figure out how to kill an angel.

PERFECT ONCE AGAIN!!! I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH I AM SPEECHLESS!!! THESE LOVE STORIES... OMG
I love everthing!!! The characters, shocking twists, emotions, THE ROMANCE!!!
Roman has begon with his utopia: Perfect Order (concentration camps!!!)
-faline's wings have sort of healed by Isolde and Clara but she can no longer fly, Thames helps her recovering and training
-the bunker explodes!!! The Order demands for the girls to give themselves up, after they refuse the set off BOMBS!! the bunker explodes (sydney who's soul is stolen by cody, dies...)
-Livonne and her father come to the rescue!! She was Cassia's friend!!! She is human adopted by Allen her nephilim father, he was on the run from the coucil because he refused to be part of it.
-they bring them to the Immortal Legion: human and nephilim who protect the world from evil!! The group take refugee and they plan to find Cairo's dad
-athias found his father Christopher who is a CRUEL AND HORRIBLE MAN!!! :you were a mistake ' HOW DARE HE!!!
He tells them about the angel codex which was split into pieces and the piece about killing angels and demons is hidden in a temple
-fortune teller Malla tells Lena and Cassia about their future: cassia has to sacrifice herself twice and Lena needs to have faith in her anchesters...
-cairo and cassia were attacked: A DEMON IS FEASTING ON CASSIA!!! she has been poisoned!!
-the group go looking for a demon who has the antidote: set a trap and it tells: someone needs to enter Purification (in between realm) to obtain the antidote but will risk his soul for and never to return!!!
-EMOTIONAL SCENE!!! Cairo goes, everthing for cassia!!!
But the snake tricked them!!! The poised person has to go herself for the realm will heal her!!!
-they split up, Lena and Thames go to the temple and Cassia goes into the realm, Livonne prepares the army
Cassia rescues Cairo from his own chains!! The only way to return is for them to speak the truth: they both are scared for full commitment because of her past... EMOTIONAL SCENE!!! they heal together by making love and it is absolutely beautiful and healing!!! The portal has opened for them!!!
Thames and Lena have to open up too: the guardian will only give the scroll if Thames comes clean: he tells her he is afraid he will curse her soul and can only save her bt leaving forever!!! 'stop being a martyr!!' EMOTIONAL MOMENT!!! At last he tells her he will stay for her always and forever!!! The scroll has been given!!
-they regroup, the scroll: angels can be killed by immortals and sending the angel to Jugement, but through a sacrifice, that same immoral will DIE!!!
-cassia knows it got to be her because of Malla!!!
-night of stars: a ball and Cassia gives Lena angel earings and Livonne a bracelet (as a goodbye!!! )
Thames and lena share a romantic dance!!
Cassia has to keep Cairo save by BREAKING UP WITH HIM, UTTERLY DEVASTATING SCENE I CRIED!!!!
Cassia goes to her father and is locked ul by ATHIAS!! (Roman threatened to kill both Isolde and clara!!) He didn't have a choice.... cass is chained up, Athias is forced to KILL HER!! he refuses and is killed himself!!
-thames figured her out and they go after her!!
First Lena Kills Cody!!!: seduced him in human form and killd him, Sydneys soul is free!!!
-the group comes to Cassia's rescue and Cairo breaks to chains with him forgiving her: Love is always the awnsers!!!
-HUGE FIGHT!!! the Legion is at war with the order and the group doesn't stand a chance against Roman
-they fight with all their might, but he RIPPS LENA'S WINGS OFF!!! Lena begs for her mother to help!!! She realisez her anchesters are woth them and they need to defeat him together!!
-they all hold him tight, with Athias and lena deliveres the final blow and the all hold hands waiting FOR DEATH!!!!
-3 months later: THEY SURVIVED!! the sacrificed their IMMORTALITY!! THEY ARE HUMANS!!!
-thames and lena live in their own appartment and he shows lena campus and a new home: HE ASKES HER TO MARRY HIM!!!! THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED!!
-Cassia and Cairo are at their special lake, cairo struggles being human and Cassia helps him through it, ROMANTIC SCENE!!! she stops with flyingschool, SHE IS PREGANT!!! OMG I AM SO EXTREMELY HAPPY!!! a girl Cynthia!!! MY HEART SOARS FOR THEM ALL!!!

Truth is the third and final book in the Angels & Demons trilogy and it really good ending to the story. I believe the book starts off a couple of months after Torture and although they are together things don't look so hot for my group. Roman has launched his demented plan and already has a huge camp for the Perfect Order while Cass, Lena, Thames, Cairo and the other hide in a bunker trying to figure out an action plan. Things go from bad to worse when they are attacked at the bunker but they manage to stave off Roman's goons and find out that they have some allies after all.

After joining their allies and getting the rest of their family to safety the group then goes on a quest to figure out how to kill Roman because hey killing an angel just isn't that easy. A lot happens on this quest, questions are answered and they are shocking, some devastating news is dealt and an ugly truth is revealed.

Megan did a really good job with wrapping up the story, not only were the characters growing but readers get to see a different side to them and can't help but feel a little for them. Theme of this book is as the title suggests, the truth. The truth in relationships, in someone's true intentions and even discuss how the truth can be many different things but it is always that a truth.

With the final battle looming ahead our group has a lot to face and a lot to come to terms with. Truth was a good read that I could have raced through if I didn't want to take my time with the story. With romance, shocking plot twist, action, revelations and an ending like that I couldn't help but be engrossed in the story.

Emotionally thrilling, action packed epic conclusion to a awesomely entertaining, attention gripping, dangerous, intriguing and magical struggle to save the world. This series has it all and then some, it is not just a simple good vs evil kinda drama but the sades in between that show just how being human means being a little of both at any given time. Enjoyed every heart pounding twist and turn as well has the shocking truth.

Sacrifice

Book three was harder for me to get into reading for some reason the story just was not holding my attention. I picked it up and would read for awhile then put it down and then like a bolt of lighting the story grabbed me and would not let go until I finished it. Glad I continued to read this book till the end instead of giving up.

You will find out how the Cairo, Cass, Faline and Thames continue to fight for what is right against an angel gone rogue.

Fantastic Trilogy

I enjoyed the entire Angels & Demons trilogy, Megan Linski crafted a excellent ending to a excellent story, I am kinda sad it is was trilogy and not a continuing series as I am going to miss these characters. buy or borrow the entire series you won't be disappointed...

The conclusion and battle between angels and demons was great! The story followed both Cassia and Faline. I loved the twists and turns that both girls had to take to get to the conclusion. So happy and it’s such a bittersweet moment at the end.
The audiobook was easy to follow along with both narrators portraying Cassia and Faline.

Good read for Nephlim

Enjoyed the series but the romance was predictable other than that the plot of the story keeps you reading and waiting for the next book.
