Another Bailey Brother #3

Miles Bailey Gets Down On One Knee

Rate this book
I am Delaney Jones, courageous enough to defy my mother, fearless enough to leave my successful rock band, and daring enough to propose to a perfect stranger.
Delaney:
Miles wasn’t planned.
Which kind of made him perfect.

Sure, I’d just said no—to a load of handsome men on a reality show designed to find me a husband, but I didn’t want any of them.

I don’t want Miles either—at least, I think I don’t. It’s the perfect scenario because, unlike all those guys on that show, he doesn’t want me either. No broken hearts.

Can’t we all just play nice? A convenient, image-building marriage without all the bitter rejection? That’s all I’m asking.

Yep, Miles is perfect for the job.
Or at least he would be if my heart would stop betraying me every time he walked into the room.

Miles:
She gave me one job.
One.
Don’t fall in love with her.

That’s all I have to do and my stagnant career is going to take off, like a rocket.
As long as I follow the rules.

But Delaney never mentioned how very difficult those rules would be to follow. She makes them difficult. If I’d known I wasn’t just entering a marriage of convenience, but a DEFCON two marriage, I may have thought twice before slipping that gold band on her finger.

Marry the girl. Check.
Be seen with the girl. Check.
Don’t fall in love with the girl. Crap.

I adore all of Jen Atkinson's romcoms but this one is definitely my favorite!

I knew it was going to be a winner as soon as I saw it was a marriage of convenience and Jen did not let me down!

This book is full of forced proximity, sizzling chemistry, and heart warming moments!

Jen is always an author that can equally make my laugh out loud and cry from happiness! And this both did both as usual!

Miles is just the sweetest MMC ever and yet seeing him turn into a protector to guard Delaney as everything! I loved that he was constantly putting the thoughts and needs of everyone first. He served those in his community and just wanted to help. I love that Delaney recognized his goodness from the beginning and that she helped him achieve his dreams!

Delaney was such a great opposite to Miles. I love that we see her come from a harsh family dynamic who wasn't even sure love and family was in the cards for her. But that as usual the Bailey family just welcomed her with open arms. Boy do I wish everyone could just be in the Bailey family too with a matriarch like Lucy! They are just the best supportive family who truly welcomes and loves those who are in it no matter how they came to be there.

If you are looking for the sweetest romcom that you won't be able to put down this is it! Just the best story, the best kisses and truly one of my new favorite books of all time!

Physical Intimacy Lvl 2 (longer less descriptive kisses)

I think I say this after every book in this series, but Miles Bailey has got to be my favorite Bailey brother. Not only does he have chocolatey curly hair and the most amazing eyes, but he’s kind and genuine to the core. He feeds sad girls chocolate in his apartment and is a selfless artist/teacher who loves his family more than anything. And he marries a rockstar on a complete and total whim–and this aspect was a fun reversal. Talented singer and bass guitarist Delaney (aka Laney or Lane) has more hair than Elsa (with a streak of blue) with steel blue eyes and pouty lips that can win her anything, but she’s got a true heart of gold, despite her daring ways.

This fake relationship/marriage of convenience had me flying through the pages that were full of tender moments, giant sparklers of attraction, and the best and messiest connection ever. I couldn’t get enough of these characters and their families–good and bad–and the way this marriage and plot played out. This story is everything I dreamed it would be.

Things to love:
💓Forehead kisses
🎸Gummy bears
🖌️M&Ms
🖌️Pepper spray
💓Nieces Alice and Lula
🎸Girl’s night
🔥kisses
🎸Music
🖌️Art
💓Hilarious “curse” words

I can’t get enough and I’m hoping beyond hope that Cooper is next. 😉

Content: mild moments of peril due to paparazzi; mild+ kisses/one bed; family/parental issues

It’s official! Miles is my favorite Bailey brother! This story!! Marriage of Convenience is my fav trope so when Jen revealed the tropes for Miles’s story I was ecstatic! And, oh did she deliver! I was super glued to this book and couldn’t put it down!

Miles was the absolute sweetest thing! I just LOVED him! His pureness and selflessness made him stand out to me as one of my favorite MMC’s I’ve ever read. He was like a little puppy you just wanted to take home and snuggle. 🥰

Delaney had my heart. Growing up in a broken home, by a mother who always put her down, she never knew what a loving family was like….till she met the Baileys. I loved seeing her character grow and learn what it felt like to be truly cherished for who she was. It was beautiful.

Their first meeting was hilarious and set the tone for their sweet relationship. I loved their connection from the start and how their relationship started as friends and slowly grew to more at just the right pace. I laughed out loud so many times at their sweet interactions and predicaments they found themselves in. Their chemistry was perfect and those sizzling kisses set the pages on fire!🔥🔥 Just you wait!

I loved the new side characters from Miles’s paint classes. Those scenes were so special and heartwarming. Walt was a hoot! And, as always, I loved visiting with all the Baileys again and the spunky, sassy Alice! I definitely hope she gets her own book someday! *Hint, hint Jen! 😉

Things I Loved:
💍Sweetest MMC
💍One bed
💍He protects her
💍Coco and Delaney first meeting
💍The janitor closet scene
💍Handlebar mustache
💍Late night talks
💍Walt
💍Pepper spray
💍All the kisses
💍The art studio reveal
💍Epic Bounce House scene
💍The Epilogue!!

If you love clean marriage of convenience stories, filled with lovable characters, sweet moments, laughter, love and swoony kisses then this story is for you!! Highly, highly recommend!!

I received a complimentary copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

'I have one job--and that's to not fall for my wife. Surely I can do that. We're on day three--this shouldn't even be a question at this point.'

Ohhhhh how I love a good Marriage of Convenience trope!

I feel like this trope is used a lot more in a historical romance than a contemporary, but let me tell you Jen Atkinson NAILED THIS TROPE! It's completely adorable, fictionally believable (I just made that term up...it means I actually feel like this could be plausibly believable-but probably still best left for the fiction world lol), and OH SO SWOONY!

That's right friends...the CAPS ARE COMING OUT!

All of the Bailey boys have been adorable and full of charm, but MILES BAILEY IS KING AT THIS ROMANCE GAME! And the best part of it all is he doesn't even realize it! **chefs kiss perfection**

Delaney is equally adorable and charming. She's down to earth and the best new addition to Coeur d'Alene and all of it's residents!

That's right we've got small town charm, marriage of convenience, cinnamon roll hero (Miles is the definition of this term btw), celebrity/singer, he falls first...do I need to go on? I don't even know why you're still reading this- GO BUY THIS BOOK NOW lol.

Seriously. It's so good! Definitely a top favorite from this year!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Content: mild innuendo, contrast of one loving up bringing and one less than loving upbringing, a couple of crass words, romance-kisses only.

I think I fall more in love with each Bailey brother as their stories come along! I loved grumpy Levi, sweet and patient Owen, and now the adorably unsuspecting Miles has stolen my heart!!

I’m finding out I’m kind of a sucker for a marriage of convenience trope that inevitably ends up leading to real love! It certainly helps when you add in a very small studio apartment, one bed, a FMC who stays close to home to avoid the paparazzi, an artist who works in a studio attached to his apartment, a nosy sister who wants and needs proof of the marriage being real and wants to plan a reception, the most darling rock star who wants to branch out on her own, and a cinnamon roll man who is so sweet she can’t help but fall for him!

I loved seeing all the Bailey brothers (and their wives/fiancées), their sister Cora, their loving mom Lucy, and their spitfire niece, Alice!! Cutest Bailey ever!!

This book gave me all the feels and had me rooting for these two to make things work for real!

“As far as fake husbands go, I’m pretty sure I picked a winner.”

Delaney definitely picked a winner in Miles, and their story is an absolute winner! The first two books in the series are fantastic, but this is my favorite! Loved it!

It’s funny, sweet, perfectly paced, with a super swoony romance that made me ridiculously happy.

I’ve loved Miles’ character in the previous books. His genuine goodness and sweetness shines through here, making me love him even more.

Jen does a beautiful job with developing her characters. The Bailey’s feel like family, and I’m so invested in their lives. I can’t wait for Cooper to get his story.

This can be read as a standalone, but if you haven’t read the first two books in the series you’re missing out on so much fun.

Many thanks to the author for an ARC!

I love the Bailey brothers. They are each so different but ultimately they are all caring, exceptional men. This is a dual pov, clean romance. It is in a series but can be read as a stand alone novel (but trust me, you will want to read the whole series).

Miles is such a soft soul and truly is exactly who Delaney needs especially once you meet her mom (*shivers*). I love how we slowly see them fall in love by the little things they do for each other. While I feel like Laney does a big gesture for Miles, the majority of their relationship is appreciating the little things with each other. Miles sees Laney as a person and an amazing one at that; and that is just who she needs. She doesn’t need to be known as Lane Jonas but just Laney with Miles.

This book was SO CUTE. I devoured it all in one day because of how cute & easy it was. Absolute swoon-worthy love & the most wholesome & gentlemanly male main character. It was easy & lighthearted & feel-good which is sometimes the most refreshing thing to read! Closer-door with no language, banter, a marriage of convenience & a quick-paced romance.
I can’t wait to see what the author does next - the epilogue already has me so so excited

Miles Bailey Gets Down on One Knee is the third book in the Another Bailey Brother series, and while you can read it as a stand-alone, just do yourself a favor and start the series from the beginning.. you will not be disappointed. Miles and Delaney was a great example of how opposite attract, and this might be my favorite book of the series so far.

Miles, omg what a gem and let’s protect him at all cost he is officially my favorite Bailey brother! The way he made himself a safe place for Delaney and went along with her plans even though he didn’t really know her or what all her life involved, and don’t even get me started on his relationship with his art students especially Walt… he’s just the absolute best!

Also I actually loved Delaneys character. She wasn’t as sweet on the outside of Miles but she definitely has a really good heart, and I loved out she made sure all Miles art dreams come true. And while her family life and Miles family life are completely different she jumped right in and allowed his family to take her in.

The plan was to stay married for a year, help Delaneys public image and Miles got his art studio.. they had one rule and it was to not fall in love.. good luck with that lol.

If you’re like me and you love a good fake dating/ marriage of convenience, with a little one bed only in the mix, go ahead and pick this one up!

Fun and sweet romance

Of the Bailey boys in this series I think Miles is probably my favorite. There were some great parts in this story that made me laugh. The romance was sweet. This is a really great addition to the Bailey Brothers series and I can’t wait for Cooper’s story. (Good teaser in the epilogue)

@authorjenatkinson this is a delightful story! I liked how this story focuses on two people who think they need each other for a moment, but discover they really need forever. The fake relationship/marriage of convenience had my attention right from the start to finish! There’s heartwarming moments, great sparks of attraction, banter, and a quick pace! I enjoyed the plots twists and turns, as well as the emphasis on the importance of family. This a great swoony closed door rom-com worth reading!

Reader’s Notes:

– this is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone

– this is told from Miles & Delaney’s points of view

– it is mentioned that Delany’s dad deals with gambling & isn’t present in her life; it is also mentioned/shown that her mother speaks poorly to her & demeans her (saying she’s a disappointment)

Review:

These Bailey’s… I’m telling you that if you haven’t met this family yet you’ve got to! I loved them since getting to meet them with Coco in Insta Family and have just continued to fall harder for each and every one of them since!

Miles takes the cake! I loved his quiet, caring, & loving personality and his desire to help others. I loved his connection with his niece Alice (one of my favorite characters by far!) and how he just couldn’t say no to her. He was so sweet with Delaney. I loved that though they both didn’t really know each other & started off unconventionally, Miles wanted to care for her even if it just mean getting something small that she enjoyed. I loved that Delaney stuck to her desires & didn’t let herself get stuck in any place that she didn’t want to be in for long. I loved that she brought a bit of extra joy and fun to Miles’s life in unexpected ways and that she enjoyed getting him to blush constantly. Their marriage of convenience was so much fun to follow as they navigated their fake relationship & later the real feelings that came at them the longer they kept up the charade and got to know each other. I can’t wait for the next one!

Summary:

Delaney tried to follow her agent’s advice to help her change in direction for her career, but being expected to pick someone to marry from a selection of men that Delaney has no interest in on a TV show not only breaks her, but also breaks her chances at good PR. To get away from the paparazzi harassing her after the disaster that was the show, she goes to the one place that she’d felt happy to take a vacation. Somehow the paparazzi find her in the small town she fled to and captured a picture of a kind stranger helping her…but they think that he was proposing to her. Though that’s not what happened, Delaney can’t get the idea out of her head of how it could be spun positively for her. She’d just have to get Miles the kind stranger to agree to marry her and pretend to be her husband…

Miles knew who Delaney was when he saw her in the local gallery, but knew she’d probably been looking for some quiet alone time with how she tried to disguise herself. But after seeing the season finale she starred in, he can’t get Delaney out of his head and couldn’t help approaching her. He never expected for her to propose marriage with him. Well, fake marriage with him. But the benefits for both of them outweigh the fact that they barely know each other. It doesn’t seem like their plan could go wrong…until the biggest rule gets broken and Miles finds himself falling for Delaney for real…

I love marriage of convenience stories and celebrity romances; plus Jen Atkinsons stories are always super cute! I knew this one was going to be a winner! Miles Bailey Gets Down on One Knee pulled me right in from the start and I didn’t want to put it down!

After a very public embarrassment rock star Delaney Jones needs something to save her reputation and give her career a fresh start. Enter Miles Bailey, an artist with a heart of gold. They have only just met, but marriage to him seems like the solution Delaney is looking for. Miles doesn't seem to care about her fame so it should be easy for him to follow her one rule, do not fall in love with me.

This one was all kinds of swoony! I loved Miles right away and he is now officially my favorite Bailey brother. What a genuine absolute sweetheart! I enjoyed his first interaction with Delany and his surprised, very real reaction to her marriage proposal. Delaney feels safe with him from the start and their chemistry is undeniable. From the forehead kisses to that amazing bounce house kiss I was so invested in their marriage. I love how well they communicated with each other and that there was no third act breakup. They just choose to choose love and it's absolutely beautiful!

I also need to mention how much the Bailey family truly shined in this story. Every single one of them is well written and well developed with their own quirks and uniqueness that just makes the family super special! The story has the right balance of fun moments and tender hearted moments. I was smiling so much as I read. I adored the Girls Night Out scene and was laughing hard everytime Annie said “married, married, married, engaged” to the waiter. I just wanted to be right there with them to join in on the celebration! Actually I kind of felt like I was and now I can’t wait for Cooper's story!

Things to love:
Marriage of convenience
Celebrity romance
One Bed trope
M&M’s vs. Gummy bears
Forehead kisses
The Bailey family
Pepper spray
Girls night out
The bounce house
Sweet gestures and the grand gesture.

ARC review/book recommendation🩵💍:

Ratings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Topics throughout the book are:
🩵A sweet romantic comedy
💍Marriage of convenience
🩵close knit family
💍dual POVs
🩵famous female main character
💍artist main male character

Summary🩵💍:
Delaney Jones is a famous musician that left her band to go folk. Her manager Ash suggested that the key for her fans to follow her on this new path would be to appear on a reality show where you end up finding your future husband. But for Delaney that wasn’t the case and her choices affected her image. She decided she needs to get away, from the noise and to catch her breath, and fly to Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, the one town where she has fond memories of her childhood. Miles Bailey is an artist who loves to teach his passion to others. He has a goal to open up a bigger studio, however, his landlord won’t give him the space until  fate brings him Delaney. They both make a business deal to get married, to help each other out, but there’s a catch, Miles can’t fall in love with Delaney. Will their marriage by convenience help them? Will Miles keep his end of the bargain and not fall in love? Read to find out!

Thank you to Jen Atkinson for providing me the opportunity to read her ARC in exchange for my honest review! This is a closed door sweet romantic comedy where two strangers agree to get married to help each other succeed in their careers! The characters really brought this book to life with their different personalities and how involved they are in each other’s lives! If you’re looking for a sweet, cozy and quick read, I highly recommend giving this book a chance. It was such a breath of fresh air that I read it within 24 hours!

Just when you think the Bailey’s couldn’t be more amazing…here is Miles.

Miles is an artist.
With his paint and canvas, his art has led to many great pieces that he has created and are now hanging in a gallery…owned by someone else. Miles lives, paints, and teaches art in a small studio space behind the gallery…but his goal is to own the building across the way and make art more accessible and available to everyone. A true artist with a passion and heart to match.

Delaney is an artist.
Since she was young, music was her life. Her grandmother founded the Judy’s (the musical group she is a legacy member of…) and now Delaney is ready to take the stage and make her own name, as a folk singer. When using a dating show to launch her rebrand goes awry in the worst possible way, Delaney returns to the small town that holds her fondest memories to escape notice. Sadly a random person’s photo of her makes that privacy instantly disappear and Delaney has to hide in the first place she finds…an art gallery.

Delaney needs a husband. Miles wants to own his own gallery/studio. They can both help each other out and it won’t be complicated as long as they can control one thing…their own hearts. Easy, right?

—-

Honestly such a delightful read.
Miles is such a strong MMC. His voice makes it easy to fall for him, and he isn’t insecure about himself to be selfish or petty. It makes for such a good read to have a mature MMC that isn’t a stereotype…even when reading a trope.

Delaney is endearing. I immediately identified with her and her familial relationship complications, and it was so refreshing to read a character that is able to navigate the complexity of her own family, while simultaneously trying to understand how Miles’ family works.

Together this couple makes for one great story of accidental love and instant connection and respect. Love the Bailey’s family continual journey and the way they are all different, but so similar and supportive. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Favorite Focal Moments:
🎨Sassy Alice and her Uncles
🎨Walt. He is so sweet!
🎨Forehead Kisses
🎨Being Reunited
🎨One Bed…then needing Miles to sleep. 💤
🎨Cooper preview!!
🎨Delaney’s 🌈 necklace

I haven’t been this invested in a family since watching the Brady Bunch when I was 10! 😉 I absolutely love the Bailey Family and feel like I’m at a family reunion every time I read one of their stories. ♥️Miles is no exception, he’s just plain exceptional. Plus, can I say I want to meet Lucy, their mom? How did she raise such amazing men?

Miles is quiet. He is an artist who lives in the tiny loft of his art studio rented from a curmudgeonly man. He teaches art classes to disabled adults and considers them his friends. He is good to his family, a gentleman- and just an all around great guy. He is content with his quiet life, and doesn’t worry much about money or how many paintings he sells.

All of that is brought under a microscope when a chance encounter with a famous rock star in his art gallery ends up with him being married. Surprise. A surprise to him, his family, and the whole world who now knows. What they don’t know- is that it’s a mutually beneficial deal between the bride and groom. There’s only one rule- do NOT fall in love. That, it turns out is the hardest part.

“I am not crazy. Then again, I am in a closet listening to a plan that makes no sense at all. Maybe sanity and I are only partial friends.”

“I’m trying to remember what it is she asked me to do. Not fall in love with her, right? Because that’s the only way our plan fails.”

“I’m pretty sure I’d have to be dead or a monk to not be attracted to this woman. Nope, a monk would still feel the attraction. Death is my only hope.”

“I never dreamed not falling in love with her would be this difficult.”

If you love marriage of convenience, (I didn’t know I did!), opposites attract, found family, one bed- closed door, famous characters, laugh out loud moments, and HEA… you are in for a treat! I’m talking your favorite candy being delivered to your doorstep level of treat.

I received an ARC of the story, but the review is my honest opinion.

This was my first book by Jen Atkinson and it certainly won’t be my last! I loved literally everything about this book, it quickly jumped to being one of my all-time favorites.

I’m not usually the biggest fan of marriage of convenience as a trope, but gosh I adored Miles and Delaney, and their whole relationship. Delaney is smart and strong, and, despite her horrible mother, kind and generous. Miles is the cinnamoniest cinnamon roll I’ve ever read, simply the most lovable. I literally don’t have words for just how good they both were. And somehow they were even better together, both supporting, encouraging, and defending each other at every turn.

I also loved the Bailey family! I know I’m late on the uptake since this is the third (fourth, technically) of the Bailey family stories, but I am addicted. I love them all so much and I’m so excited to go back and read all the preceding stories (as well as the upcoming).

I cannot shout my praises for this book loud enough. I’m slightly devastated it’s over, honestly.

Thank you so very much, Jen, for allowing me to be on your ARC team! You and this story you’ve created are phenomenal! All opinions are my own.

This was adorable! A strangers to lovers marriage of convenience featuring a small town painter/teacher and a music star.

The Bailey family dynamics are the cutest, and Miles has a heart of gold. A man with a strong moral compass, he never took advantage of the situation or Delaney. Instead of getting unnecessarily heated, things progressed sweetly & poignantly. And his heart for teaching painting to disabled adults was precious. I loved them!

Miles Bailey Gets Down on One Knee is the third book in the Another Bailey Brother series. While you might have a better understanding of the Bailey family dynamic if you've read the previous books, I do believe this could be enjoyed as a standalone.

Just when I think this series couldn't possibly get any better... it goes and gets better! Miles and Delaney's story completely won me over and is my new favorite... so far! First of all, Miles is just the absolutely sweetest. Not only is he willing to marry a complete stranger just to help her out, but I absolutely adored how he looked out for not just her, but his students and everyone he cared about too. It was impossible not to fall in love with him. Delaney was wonderfully written too, and I loved the chemistry between these two. She had a difficult relationship with her mom, but I loved the sense of found family she discovers throughout the story. It was just a sweet and beautiful relationship (with plenty of laugh out loud moments too) that I absolutely couldn't get enough of. If you love a good marriage of convenience and/or celebrity romance, this is one not to be missed.

Miles Bailey Gets Down on One Knee is a closed-door romance with kisses only. It does have one very minor swear twice.

Well now I HAVE to go back and read Levi and Owen’s books! I loved this sweet closed-door RomCom!

Miles Bailey is the sweetest cinnamon roll MC I’ve read in a long time. I might also be a bit smitten as my husband is an artist and Miles… is an artist. He and Delaney had my attention from page 1 and I loved watching them try so hard to not fall in love! The adorbs witty banter and sweet moments coupled with the things these two sacrifice and do for each other was just so swoony.

The Bailey Brother books are all standalone, but I kind of wish I had read the other two first because it felt a little like walking into the middle of the story and having to catch up super fast with the cliff notes. That said, I still really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves closed-door, sizzling kisses, marriage of convenience, cinnamon roll MC’s, found family, one-bed/ forced proximity, artist couple, and special needs rep. This book gave me ALL the feels!

Absolutely charming!

Miles Bailey might be my favorite Bailey brother (might be, I love them all!) and his story does not disappoint! I love how he has such a sunshine vibe while being an artist and a teacher. Miles is living life on his terms, as a painter and a teacher. I love his friendship with Walt especially!
Delaney Jones is a musician with a struggling social image at the moment after being humiliated on national TV. When she runs to Coeur d’Alene ID for a reset.
What happens next leads to suddenly be married, for real, under the premise that Miles does not fall in love with her.
But of course, that’s easier said than done!
I loved Miles and Laney together! They are both artist and really respect and inspire each others creativity and I loved seeing that. They are both a joy to read about and I love the interactions with Miles’ family. I really wish I could listen to some of Laney’s’ music and buy one of Miles’ paintings!
I really loved this one and that bonus epilogue has me so excited for Coops book!

Thank you to the author for an arc copy. All thoughts are my own.

Oh these Baileys. How can you not love them? This family is full of warmth and fun and I am so happy to join with this family for a bit. Hey, you are going to love Miles Bailey!

Marriage of convenience can be kind of a difficult story to navigate sometimes, right? But this one was so much fun. I loved the quirkiness and the love from everyone in this story. I loved the healing that happened for sweet Delaney.

Miles is such a sweet sweet man. He treats Delaney like a rare gem but doesn’t overdo it either. Delaney desperately needs someone in her corner who loves her for her. There is no one better for her than Miles.

The introduction and immersion that Delaney experiences with the Bailey family is just perfect. I love that she gets to see a warm hearted mother and that even if a dad isn’t present there is still plenty of love spread out amongst them. If you couldn’t already tell, I adore the familial connection in this story and I cannot wait to read about more Bailey’s in the future!

I loved these two quotes:

“If the Baileys have taught me anything, it’s that family is important. It’s worth fighting for.”

“Somehow this man’s forehead kisses leave me spinning more than any kiss from a contestant on a TV show ever did.”

Thank you to the author for writing this one and sharing this with us.

I was so excited for Miles story and @authorjenatkinson did not disappoint!!

I love marriage of convenience trope in the book and how Delaney and Miles rumors started. Delaney refers to Miles as safe multiple times.

The honest friendship that they developed was so fun and I loved the mustache by trying to bring humor in their relationship early on. It also was nice that they were able to be honest about their feelings pretty quick!

Overall such a fun read that ties in the other Bailey Brothers and Coco's story. They all can be read as stand alone:
* {Insta} Family (Coco's story, book 4 in {Insta} series)
* Levi Bailey has butterflies (Levi's story, book 1 in Another Bailey Brothers series)
*Owen Bailey Needs Advice (Owen's story, book 2 in Another Bailey Brothers series)

Tropes:
+Marriage of convenience
+Fake dating
+Strangers to lovers
+One bed
+Celebrity Romance
+Found family

Thanks to @authorjenatkinson for letting me be apart her ARC team. All thoughts and opinions are my own and a positive review was not required

Miles and Delaney’s story is marriage of convenience perfection, with a dash of celebrity and the best found family vibes – chef’s kiss!

Stars: 5/5
Spice: 0/5 (Closed Door)

When celebrity Delaney comes to an Idaho town looking for a place to hide, she runs into artist Miles – right as the paparazzi find her. Their pictures start rumors, and one thing leads to another – and Miles agrees to marry her to help her out of a bind. He’s only given one job: don’t fall for her.

I loved Miles & Delaney’s story. It was full of sweet moments. A protective cinnamon roll hero. Two characters who repeatedly show up for each other in little gestures and grand gestures. It made me swoon and giggle and kick my feet the whole way through. I don’t know what kind of magic Jen puts in these books, but somehow I love each Bailey book more and more. I highly recommend!

I received an ARC copy of the book and all thoughts are my own.

Miles Bailey just might be the sweetest of the Bailey brothers. He’s always helping others, from teaching his class, to being there for family, so what’s he do when famous singer Lane Jonas asks him to get married for a year? He says yes, of course. After all, he’ll get his dream art studio. The only rule, he can’t fall in love with her.

Lane aka Delaney Jones has a lot going on. She left her music group to go solo. She went on a bachelorette-like show where she left without choosing a guy. And now her image needs some revamping, and a cute, decent guy might be just what she needs.

From the second Miles and Delaney met, it was all just so sweet. Her trusting that he wasn’t crazy and him not admitting that he knew who she was until later. She knew from the get go that she could trust him - and after he shows his protectiveness she knew she wanted him around.

They convinced everyone of their whirlwind romance, and in true Bailey fashion they welcomed Delaney with open arms (well, except for Levi, but that’s expected 😂) Coco’s joy was contagious - and hilarious. And I loved Annie and her “married, married, engaged, married”. There is never a dull moment with this family.

Delaney’s mom is awful, and seeing her witness a loving family made my heart so happy. And when she gives Alice a little present I may have teared up. If you like mustaches, bounce houses, and gummy bears - read this book. If you don’t like those things, still read this book - they’re just fun things the story has to offer 😉

This is book 3 and can be read alone - but I suggest getting to know all the Bailey’s! Their stories start in Insta Family (Coco) and carry over to the Bailey Brothers series!
