He first started reading for fun as an adult, having tried his hardest to avoid anything resembling academia growing up, and at that point the world became a far bigger place. He has been reading, at least one book at a time, ever since.
His debut works, the After It Happened series, (Survival, Humanity, Society) were published in April 2016 followed by Hope (July 2016) and Sanctuary (December 2016). The first part of the series concluded with the release of Rebellion which was published in June 2017.
Storming high into the charts with the first books of the After It Happened series, Devon launched into the top 10 sellers listings in the UK, Australia, Canada and the US, and he made the decision to write full time shortly after the launch of Hope.
Devon’s self-published beginnings caused a stir in the publishing world, and resulted in contracts with Podium Publishing for Audible, narrated by R.C. Bray (The Martian, Expeditionary Force, Arisen), before a publishing deal for kindle and paperbacks with Vulpine Press.
Further works have seen the start of a multi-author series, sci-fi/post-apocalyptic cross genre, futuristic dystopian and alternative history zombie apocalypse. Spin-off books from the After It Happened world have been announced for 2018.

I was slightly let down by the second book. It focuses mostly on a succubus and how they build their army of familiars and feed. The pacing is much slower this time, and I found myself zoning out in places because some sections dragged on. It almost turns into a thriller about a killer hunting girls and what the police are doing about it.
There are still some good moments, and I still like the crew, but it just did not have the spirit of the first book.

Boring beginning but faster end
This book was a slow started. I was actually kind of bored at several times. But when we got to the action that was pretty good. Still not sure when the end all will be but entertaining even if I don’t love it right now.

Beware the monsters in the dark but fear the monsters in the day.
Absolutely brilliant fantasy fiction.
More action than you can shake a stick at.
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action.
I look forward to the next one.

Great part 2
Great action. Excellent character development. Good pace. It's a book and a series that is tough to put down. I highly recommend and can't wait read book 3, the conclusion!

Pretty good
Didn't get much out of the first book. Was left disappointed. Super happy I read this book 2 though. This one was very interesting

Good sequel
Great installment, the monsters were awesome, action was a little sparse but the ending was good, definitely going to read book 3.
