It's something a little like you've read before, taking setting inspiration from a traveling carnival or circus like show, and it's something familiar, adding elements of masked men and costume-driven erotica, and then it becomes nothing like you've ever read before, throwing everything together into a hivemind-like experience that goes beyond the physical. All in under 30 pages!

Not for everyone, writing is basic, but it's certainly a creative quick-hit that grabs and keeps your attention.

Before I get into a brief review, please for the love of carbs check your triggers. For only being 24 pages, this book is full of them. Do you research, don't get triggered and don't leave the author a bad review because you didn't.

Okay.... now what can I say without saying anything?! That is the million-dollar question...

Girls’ night gone wrong or if you are like me, girls night gone very right. A bit of a filth involving more than one mind and a couple of peens. Yeah, that about does it.

Take the risk. Read the book. If you don't like dark, maybe skip this one.

This short story was wilddd! Thanks Marilynn for reaching out to me and recommending. It’s definitely not what I would typically read, but this smut mixed with a bit of thriller short story was a fun read! It’s 24 pages so obviously you’re not getting a bunch of plot, but I’m impressed with how much we got from the book.

I’d give this a 3.5 stars. Honestly it was not a dark short story this was straight up erotica! This was basically sex in your seat. I’m curious to know the drugs they were on but also wouldn’t mind experiencing what they experienced. Weird right… maybe this awakened a side of me I didn’t even know I had 🫣

I went into this pretty much blind and I loved it. If you are looking for something very short, super steamy, and different from everything else you've read then check this out. A group of ladies are out for a bachelor the party. A mysterious carnival tent that is rumored to be twisted and erotic is the setting for this feisty group of friends. Once in their seats they quickly realize that this show is definitely different. As the performance goes on they all find themselves as part of the show. This story was so trippy, unique, and hot. I haven't read anything like this and I loved it. I was right there with the audience not knowing what would happen next but eagerly anticipating it. This is a super short story but I loved the setting and the vibes. This book had me wanting more as well as a ticket to be part of the show.

Incredible, unbelievable, did it really happen? Those are all the questions I had at the end of the book as well as the feeling of wanting more. A fun girls' night out for a bachelorette party turns into a shocking sexual experience on a Circus stage show or was it all illusion or a mix in-between? The writing is so detailed and visual in its description that you fall into the story as if you're the character, feeling every emotion right along with them. It was a fascinating ride of bizarre and bewilderment that leaves you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend reading this and then you can decide for yourself, did it really happen? I hope there's more to come that can give us the answer.

WOW just WOW!! I loved this short story!

This short story…… just WOW!! It had me hooked from the beginning, could not put it down! It had me gasping and talking out loud.. had me questioning what it was I just read.. I LOVED IT. I loved how I could see it all play out as I read it. The author definitely did a great job! This was the first time I read her work and I can definitely say it won’t be the last! Totally recommend reading! If you like spicy reads that will leave your head spinning and have you talking out loud like a crazy person you should absolutely read this short story.

What in the holy hell did I just read? 24 pages of absolute INSANITY. And for the love of books, please check trigger warnings before continuing 😂 I’m not gonna lie- I went into this blind as a bat with this being my first read by this author. Honestly I finished and came straight here so I don’t even know as I write this if she has any other work. But let me tell you, I’m 100% gonna know in 5 minutes. This was a super fast read but my brain feels like I just finished a whole novel of non stop 🥵 🌶️. If you’re looking for a quick, DARK, crazy, HAWT read - here you go. The bachelorette night to remember

What did I just read??? I loved this short story. Total erotica and I totally imagined the entire scene(s) happening as I read it. This absolutely left me wondering and wanting. Having thoroughly enjoyed this I rate it a five out of five on the jalapeno spice scale. If you like spicy reads that will leave your head spinning you should absolutely read this short story. Marilynn Harper is quickly becoming one of my favorite short story erotica authors.

VERY different, very sexy

I can honestly say this story, is something I've never read before....
Although a short story, its quite titillating, it was unexpected. Made my niipples hard. Got a layer of 'creepy' to it.

Bachelorette party goes to a "hush hush" type of show that turns out to be an entire audience voyeuriism "show" \ experience.

I enjoyed the detailed type writing as opposed to a rushed type writing. I look forward to what's next from thus author.

What a crazy, extremely fast ride. I enjoyed this short story. It’s entirely smut but set in a way you would never think of. The writer definitely got creative as I had never read anything like it. Was super sad it was over so fast lol. Wouldn’t mind a longer story from the Ringmasters point of view or the performers.
