As M.M. Crumley I write Urban Fantasy books full of supernatural action, nail-biting-mystery and; laugh-out-loud humor. Why? Because stories, myths, and legends have always been a huge part of my life... As a child, I liked nothing better than to lose myself in a world where magic and heroes were part of the fabric of existence.
As my pen name M.M. Boulder I write psychological thrillers and murder mysteries that bring the darker impulses we may not feel completely comfortable with into the light. My stories are full of lies and deaths, but there is always justice. A type of justice that's not afraid to get its hands dirty. I write morally ambiguous characters who are pushed to their limits and take matters into their own hands. In my world getting away with murder has never been so much fun!
No matter what I write every one of my characters are real to me. They exist. They are three-dimensional beings who demand that their stories be told. If I were to turn away from them, they would haunt me; and so I don't. Instead I chase after them and write down everything they say!

More please!
I've really enjoyed all the books from M M Boulder aka M M Crumley. In my opinion this book was the best. It had humour, anger, frustrated main character Abby. I felt her anger and frustration at the community where she lives. There's a serial killer on the camp where she is working.... damnation ....I ALMOST got the killer this time but as usual the end had a twist I wasn't expecting. I need a book 6. M M Boulder If you read your reviews....BOOK 6 ...please :)

A little slow, but very suspenseful
at times, it was slow. However, the suspense, and natural curiosity, will keep you turning the pages! you will be a little surprised at the end, but you also may not. Parts of this book are very predictable.

Who is the Antler Ridge Camp axe-murderer?
Abby is a contractor in her family business & is trying to get dozens of cabins up to code at Antler Ridge Camp just outside the village of Copper Cliff. Unfortunately she keeps stumbling upon the murdered bodies of "Campees" who are permanent residents of of Antler Ridge. She's found 4 murder victims so far.
When the local sheriff, her own cousin and the other "Townies" start targeting her as the murderer, she takes it upon herself to first, protect the Campees and second to clear her name.
Who is the literal axe-murderer and why have they targeted the Campees of Antler Ridge?
As Abby and her new boyfriend, Daniel (a Campee), begin to uncover who benefits from the murders, both of their lives are even more in danger.
Once the brutal plot is exposed, will Abby and Daniel make it out alive?
