I have dreamed of writing books since I was a little girl. Always reading, always imagining fantastical worlds and characters, I finally decided to publish the crazy figments of my imagination. I write about shifters, dragons, magic, and hidden worlds that I would like to visit one day...
In my daily life, I love cooking, taking long walks with my wonderful husband, following courses on new topics that I know too little about, and visiting family and friends in faraway places.
Thanks for experiencing and sharing my imaginative world with me!
~ MF Rejected Mate ~ manhoe H ~ Mate Games ~ revenge plot
☑️ serious plot and continuity errors, magically appearing kisses, knots and condoms.
I’m not sure where to start this review, other than hoping the author reads it and uses it for future work.
Thalia knew right away her and Frenys were mates after meeting by chance freshman year of college. He wants to sleep around, so he ignores his pull to her. Thalia spends the next two years ignored by him while watching him sleep around. Apparently this doesn’t bother her because it’s completely glossed over in favor of this next event.
During senior year Thalia naively decides to publicly ASK the guy that’s been ignoring her for two years to be her mate one week after his dad died. She must have known about his death since he was the Mayor. He of course laughs at her and denies it. She’s agonized and humiliated. He apparently doesn’t feel anything? No pain. A very one sided mate bond that continues to make little sense.
🚫 So Thalia and Fenrys parents are BEST FRIENDS and worked together. How did they not know each other before college? Family bbqs and get togethers weren’t a thing? Thalias parents were so humiliated they left town and her father was demoted? Frenys mother did nothing to stop this. Granted she was grieving, but, her son rejecting a fated mate should concern her.
🚫 Then we learn about the mate games and wow they’re confusing. Frenys knows his mate is out there but decides instead to find someone else! After lamenting the fact his friends found mates 🤦♀️. WTW?
🚫 First there’s 7 she wolves, then 8, then 7 again. Frenys says he’ll be happy to compete against other alphas (would have been more interesting), but then it’s just him.
This brings us to Page 27. I read it five times. It goes like this:
[ I didn’t deserve her trust, but she needed my apology. “Thalia, I’m—” I broke off when she stepped back, the water moving with a sudden jerk away from me. Her eyes were wide, her lips parted. “No,” she said, quietly. Fear and worry danced in those golden eyes. “No, I—I can’t.”] ….. [But while she hadn’t kissed me back, I’d seen, even for a few moments, a hungry desire still existed for me. My fight for her was far from done.]
🚫 Our first magical kiss that NEVER happened. 🤷♀️ He never kissed her but I guess the author thinks he did.
🚫 The mate games require sleeping with the contestants who win. Ew. So we get to read about the H making out and being attracted to a contestant but he ultimately doesn’t sleep with her bc he and his wolf can’t stop thinking about Thalia. Where was his wolf before when he rejected her?
🚫 Thalia is so hurt during a trial she can’t walk, and is rescued by H. It’s then referred to as a small gash. But this leads us to another mention of the lake kiss that never happened.
🚫 Then they mated. It was hot. The best part of the entire book. There’s also no mention of a knot, a bite or an offer for a condom, all things mentioned later that also NEVER happened.
🚫 So she’s nauseous 2 days later 😂. That’s some magic sperm. Also she thinks to herself that Frenys offered to use protection but she hadn’t wanted it. 1. Yeah he carried condoms into the woods for a night of survival 🤯, 2. It also NEVER happened. He never offered.
🚫 Then we have a magically appearing knot in the last scene. Huh.
🚫 The last paragraph says he gave her a mate mark the first time back together. It also NEVER happened in the scene I read.
Overall, no I DO NOT recommend this book based on the amount of fabricated scenes, whiplash from characters, the MC didn’t really change (I mean he would have mated someone else, probably Shiba, if Thalia hadn’t been in the games), and the h just rolled over for him. Two stars for the hot smut scene in the cave.

When he rejected her, he nearly killed her now she was out for revenge.
Thalia working undercover entered the Mating Game to win her fated mate so she could reject him so he could feel the pain she had worked so hard to forget, but sometimes well laid plans go astray.
Fenrys didn’t want the games, he wasn’t ready to accept a mate but when Thalia stood in front of him, he knew she was his fated mate and the rejection he had dealt to her years ago was wrong. Could she forgive him for his past because this Alpha was willing to go all in to win the love he’d once taken for granted.
A fun engaging page-turning read with lots of emotional moments and some action, a big heap of passion which you could feel ready to explode within the pages with lots of great secondary characters to enhance the storyline.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is book one in the Silverlake Valley Wolves series. The future alpha Fenrys had rejected his mate back in school. This sent Thalia, his true mate, and her family into hard times. Her father was best friends with Fenrys father. Years later, Thalia’s friend Sasha had found a pack led by Kato that promised to help Thalia heal and get revenge for the embarrassment and rejection that she suffered. Where will this lead Thalia? Read On!
I thought the general plot was interesting and I really wanted to like it. I love other books by the author. There were just a few things that didn’t seem to add up quite right plot wise in this one. There were also a few formatting and word choices that seemed like missed editing mistakes and brought me out of the flow of the story.
Alpha’s Baby Girl is book one in the series Silverlake Valley Wolves by author Sansa Moon. This story is all about having a second chance get it right and to forgive. There’s a lot of heat in this one. A small betrayal- ok it’s not even a real betrayal, just maybe a tiny little bit. Did I mention the heat. Enjoy!!
This was okay. I couldn't get into the writing style, and the Werewolf World was weird in here. I couldn't connect to both characters. I was invested in wanting to know the outcome and sticked it out till the end.
More like "Alpha's rejected mate's second chance". Instead the title gives away the ending. He literally doesn't get a baby girl until the epilogue. She gets morning sickness immediately (like less than 12 hours).
A former football star, forced to assume the role of Alpha to his clan following difficult circumstances, Fenris still parties with the boys.
His Mother is constantly on his case to get married, make heirs and, basically Grow up. So she has inlisted the help of Graham, a loyal and trustworthy pack member to launch the Mated Games, in which 5 or so She-Wolves must compete and face trials to be chosen by Fenris as his mate and the next Luna.
In the meantime, Thalia, is still heartbroken, after two years and a half, because Fenris threw her love back in her face, humiliated her in public and put an end to her world as she knows it.
Anger and revenge are the main emotions that motivate her, these days as her goal is to make him suffer, humiliated and destroy him. What a better place than the Mated games.
The author uses her gift to take the reader on an adventure where a number of key topics are examined, felt and resolved in this brilliantly crafted plot.
Maturity versus immaturity, Fated mate versus ordinary life companion, True love versus Lust, Carefully made decisions versus emotionally made decisions, The good of all versus selfishness and, The pressure imposed by parental incessant push versus self imposed pressure to better oneself.
The author masters this art in this book that I highly recommend and rate 5 Stars +++++++++++.
Was allerdings perfekt passt.
