Julie has done it again! His Treasured Mate is about Lily and Thomas after their initial mating story of "Can't Be Love". They've been mated for 10 years and have been the Alpha and Pack Mother for just as long. They now have 4 daughters and Lily is pregnant with their final child...will it finally be the son and Heir that the pack is waiting for or is it another daughter with Thomas training their oldest daughter, Cammie, as his Alpha Heir...you'll have to read the story to find out!
His Treasured Mate takes place just before the epilogue in "Can't Be Love" where Lily and family are planning a big family picnic in Westin Pack for all of the Westin kids and Colliers as most of the families now live in both packs. With Lily so pregnant Thomas is stressed about something happening to the baby as they had miscarriage before and he doesn't want Lily to go through that again or for something to cause her to go into labor early and them not be able to have the baby at home like all the other pregnancies. So he's making a big fuss about everything she does, then add in the fact that he has to travel to another pack even one run by family, he is extra stressed.
Lily is 100% positive that she isn't going to go into labor early as she hasn't with any of her other pregnancies, she is completely convinced that she will be on time or even late this time like she was with her other babies. She is so angry with her brother and best friend over how they handled certain news that she convinces everyone that she isn't nesting when she gathers all her sister-in-laws to help her clean the house and put the nursery together that she's happy when Thomas invites his Beta Luke and his mate Sydney over for dinner.
This is a story you never thought you wanted or needed! Though you get to see the couple in other stories that take place in Collier pack, you don't really get to see into their lives and what they are actually having to deal with in their day to day lives.
His Treasured Mate is book six in the Six Pack shifters and though you don't need to read the whole series it is recommended to be read after "Can't Be Love" which is book five in the Westin Pack series and about how Lily and Thomas got together. Though you should read in series order, so you can see how the other members of the Six Pack found their mates. I'm giving this a 5 star and a 2.5 on the spicy scale.

oh my heart
Oh wow His Treasured Mate was so good. I love that Julie picked it up and made the story around the time of the Epilogue of can’t be Love. My heart went in so many directions while reading. Lily and Thomas have always been my favorite couple. Usually we see drunken ladies night but I loved that Julie flipped us and gave us drunken men night this time that was absolutely great. I did get somewhat mad at Maddie and Liam in this story. Oh my goodness I cried at the last few chapters of the book.
If you love Thomas and Lily then you can’t miss out on this book. It was wonderful.

This is the end of the Six Pack Series by Julie Trettel, but it's also the extended Epilogue to Can't Be Love from her Westin Series, and it couldn't be a more perfect end to both. There were heartfelt moments that made me cry and moments of belly laughter. Julie Trettel is one of those authors who make you feel a range of emotions in her books, and this one is no different. I'm excited to see the next chapter, and if an author isn't leaving you wanting more and more, are they even doing their job? Well, Mrs Trettel, JOB WELL DONE! Can I have some more?

A lovely little catch up!
This one reads more like a novella and a catch up than a full book but it is very enjoyable! Overall it gives us a great update on who is where with a slew of updates on everyones families and it introduces some future arcs for other characters and -down the line- a next generation series, I'd say.
It's hard to tell anything about this book without spoilers so I'll leave it at saying that I'm looking forward to the next series!

I cried and laughed and weep like a baby reading this one. Love where the epilogue for can't be love sits into this stunning extension of Lilly and Thomas story. This is not just a stand alone book so please read can't be loved first as this will provide much needed context. Seeing Luke and Sydney more in this story brought such joy to my reading heart. Would like to see what will happen next in their sealed journey

So precious!
If you love PNR, are a mom, and love to read, then this book is for you. This is the most precious story in the series. Lily and Thomas go through so much and still find a way to fight for their family. Family means more to these two whether it is by blood or by choice. There are so many surprises and tear jerking moments that you won’t be able to put it down. Can’t wait to see where this series continues.

This fast read is assorted vignettes from Thomas and Lily’s POV’s. Lily getting to the end of the end of her pregnancy, being quite involved in her Westin family’s lives, going about her pack mother duties while Thomas’ deals with alpha pressures. Also, the Westin and Collier family members get together for a weekend.
This outing felt 100% filler and having everyone around to say goodbye is like the end of an era, though this reader doesn’t want it to be.

Another great story
I always thought the characters of Lily and Thomas were the best but, this time this book cemented that.
Lily is still as quirky as ever and Thomas is still sweet and serious.
This book was fun with serious undertones and was such a wonderful story.
This was truly a great ending to a very good series.

Lily and Thomas Part 2! It was nice but certain parts crushed me.
1.) Oscar! I just want to hug him. We need a book about him (maybe ARC?)
2.) Tommy - but also Cammie about the alpha heir stuff.
Overall still loves these characters and getting to reconnect with them is always a joy. Can’t wait for more. But definitely not my favorite

Omg
Loved what happens when Lily goes into labor ☺️ but seriously?!? What about Cammie?!? Is Thomas really gonna leave it at a cliffhanger or make a decision?!? I totally agree with Cammie and I think Thomas can change things as the Alpha. I hope something gets mentioned about it in the new series about the Smith boys and the Greenhouse project coming later 😊

I absolutely love Thomas and Lily. This book covers the time before, during and after the epilogue of “Can’t Be Love”. It answered quite a few questions and perfectly creates openings for upcoming books and spin off series. Thank you Julie Trettel for always giving me the story I didn’t know I needed, and leaving me wanting more.

I've always loved Lily and Thomas!
Seeing Lily and Thomas grow into their roles as Alpha and Pack Mother have been wonderful with all the connections to the rest of the Collier pack stories. They weathered storms and family drama and have finally seal their bond just in time for their family to grow again. This a touching story to finish off the Six Pack!

This was such a sad and wonderful story but being in the medical field, I really understand all the emotional feelings involved. I truly hope there is another book to follow since it feels real to me this family and you get so involved and want to see what develops. Good job Julie

I could not put it down!! getting to see Thomas and Lily raising their family and still having to adjust to new developments was so nice.

A great ending
Oh this book killed me. I love Lily and Thomas so much. I laughed, I cried. And when Lily had the babies I thought I was going to lose it. By the end I wasn't ready for it to be over. I hope we hear more about the babies in the next series!

No!!!!!
It was another great read. I didn't want it to end at all. I hope Tommy continues to grow into a healthy boy & that Cammie finds out if she has Alpha blood or not. If yes, she's the firstborn and should be given a chance to govern.

Another fabulous read, I adore the shifter series and Julie knows how to create an amazing story but also bringing all my favourite characters together. Collier and Westin reads are great and I look forward to many more.

Great Story
Great story. Loved seeing Thomas and Lily’s story continue, but can we please do some better editing? The verb tense changes, sometimes in the same sentence, drive me crazy. Sorry, but as an English teacher and longtime avid reader, I know it can be better.
