When her husband, Dan, rejects the idea, Faith becomes more determined than ever to go through with it, but as her relationship with Dan falters, Faith’s obsession with the mysterious ‘Nick’ propels her into making reckless decisions that will change her life forever.
Faith is keen to get onto the property ladder. But her husband Dan is not convinced, he's perfectly happy with their rented flat. But Faith is determined, she has got the afternoon off to view properties. The first house is a run down Victorian house. Upon arrival faith can see that this house is going to need a lot of work. The estate agent Nick is already inside and keen to show her around. Faith is immediately drawn to this handsome young man with the startling green eyes. Though she finds it rather odd at first that he is so keen for her to buy this house.
I loved this short story. Faith and Nick have a certain charm and vulnerability about them. I found them very easy to like. The plot which at some point seemed predictable, suddenly dishes up surprises. Although this is a quick read, it has everything, and I didn't feel short changed in any way. Brilliantly written with believable characters. A recommended read. ARC was provided by the author
This was a very good book how ever I do wish the author had done more to make it more interesting. I look forward to reading more of this author's work.

Review Forever Guy is a romance suspense novella by G.Brailey author of Deathloop. I don’t want to give plot away, so I will be brief. Business PA Faith has been married to Dan for two years, but together for seven. Faith wants them to finally buy a house, to move forward in their lives while Dan is very resistant, he likes the status quo. Enter Nick, the real estate agent Faith meets at a house showing, and sparks fly between them.
This was a short, pleasurable read, and I liked the twists and turns that G. Brailey included in the story. Faith does disregard her marriage quickly when she meets Nick as she seems more connected to this stranger than she does to the man she has known for seven years. I would have preferred some interaction between Dan and Faith prior to her meeting Nick. Because of the lack of prior interaction, I didn’t have any empathy for the life Dan and Faith shared.
Of all the characters, Nick was the most engaging. I could understand why Faith was drawn to him, as he was written so vividly. His raw powerful emotions come to the surface when he is telling Faith about his life. He is desperately haunted by his past; a past I might add that would haunt anyone. Faith and Nick interactions spark and sizzle, even during their conversations; I could feel their connection.
I wish I could have been more surprised where the story was going, but I had it figured out within the first sighting of Nick. Despite my suspicious nature, which figured out a plot point early on, I highly recommend this read if you’re looking for a interesting read with plenty of twist and turns.
