(1) A group of friends went hiking and skiing in the mountains, what will happen next?

Murder, of course.

This first story is really, really clever. After the incident deep in the snowy mountains, the two surviving students went back to the city, living in fear of getting exposed, but then they had a strange encounter in the city, which leads to the unexpected ending. I like this first story very much because I really didn't see the ending coming.

(2) Medicine: The story is told from the viewpoint of a toddler and his younger sister. The boy observed something strange was happening between his father, his stepmother, and the young man who always came to visit whenever his father was not in the house, soon the father got sick. The boy plotted together with his baby sister, trying to find a way to heal their father, and their stepmother's medicine seemingly would play a key role in it!

Clever, clever story about murder and family dramas.

(3) The Red House Restaurant: in a restaurant that is painted entirely in red, the chef is going to treat you with delicious dishes that you can't imagine! 😋

(4) The short stories are more interesting than I thought so far!

(5) Urban legends about a phantom train, a brutal murder in The Magic Town. Plus, someone is broadcasting murder, live.

However, I don't really like the ending of this story.

(6) Then we have a conspiracy to ruin an honourable man and eventually drive him to death. How will this go?

(7) The titled story is written in the form of a series of letters from a brother to his married younger sister concerning the relationship among her, her husband and her husband's male friend, well...this one is interesting too.

I like that the brother eventually exposed his sister's plot of murdering her husband and framing the male friend for said murder, that one is nice.

(8) The last story is a letter from a widow to her daughter, and the context about the death of her first husband is... interesting.

Overall, the short stories are clever, the author had a way to play with the readers psychologically, and the writing is quiet nice!
