I am in a happy place right now. At least after whatever I have seen, my life seems pretty settled now. But only until he came.
Aayansh Ahluwalia. He likes to chase things or people until he gets them where he wants. I came into his vicinity, and now I run for cover. He won’t get me, not today, not tomorrow. I know how to dodge a bullet, but he is just a guy. I will show him what failure looks like. He will stop chasing once he loses.

Nothing is ever out of bounds. Sometimes you need to use different strategies to get what you want. Bend a little, break a little, press the right buttons, and you have it. It’s yours if you have patience and resilience.
Tisha Chopra. She is a beauty with brains, an odd combination, but I have met intelligent bombshells before. Her mistake was that she tried to run. Now, no place in the world will keep her away from me. Wherever she goes, she will find me in front of her. Failure is not in my dictionary, nor are relationships. I only like the chase.

The first installment of The Chase was an introductory one, where there were glimpses of both leads: Tisha Chopra was an independent, perfect combination of beauty with brain, and a headstrong person who, in spite of having everything, chose her own path.

Aayansh Ahluwalia was a shrewd businessman, charming, and a control freak who enjoyed controlling everything and everyone, including his younger brother. He was definitely the definition of a ruthless businessman who spared no one; his dark side was even more dangerous and ruthless.

I'm looking forward to knowing more about the leads and how they collide with each other. I'm also very curious to know about their family dynamics and the past of Tisha that snatched her innocence and happiness.

Overall, this installment was engaging and kept me hooked, and I'm excited to read more about them, their past, the dark side of Aayansh, their family dynamics, and more about their first meeting.

'The Chase (Instalment 1) - The Beginning' -  from Payal Dedhia is an introduction to a heart-capturing story of Tisha & Aayansh. The intro is intriguing, and with dark shades of Aayansh, it becomes more interesting to dive deep into the thrilling story coming ahead with more installments getting published. I could already feel the interesting episodes capturing readers' hearts, and looking forward to reading the next installment.

What a start to the series. I love the characters Payal weaves and this time I am excited to know more about Tisha and also Aayansh, Akhil, Gaurav, Manya and Armaan. The subtle hints show the characters have a story of their own and I can't wait to read it further.
Overall, a promising start 😍
