I've read almost all of Virtue's books on angels. This one didn't disappoint either. Although this book is a more entry level book for newcomers eager to learn more about how the universe works with our angels, it was still a good refresher to reinforce the correct methods to go about manifesting our desires.

“Angels of Abundance”-Heaven’s 11 Messages to Help You Manifest, Support, Supply, and Every Form of Abundance. Written by Doreen Virtue and her son Grant Virtue will be available at book stores this May 2014 (ISBN: 978-1-4609-4911-5) Doreen holds B.A., M.A. degrees in counseling psychology; and is a lifelong clairvoyant who works with the angelic realm. “Angels of Abundance” is a book about manifesting, co-creating your life’s desires. The book consists of 11 messages that the Angels of Abundance have shared as a means of teaching us how to consciously manifest that which we desire to have in our lives. The authors also include guided meditations to assist the reader with the manifestation process.
The author’s intention is to share with people how to manifest all the support needed in order that we may devote our selves to our life purpose. It is intended to shift our focus away from scarcity and sabotaging behaviors so that we can place our attention on service and still be able to take care of all our needs.
As the title may imply, Angels of Abundance refers to the particular angels that are available to help us move past any lack or limitations we may be experiencing during our physical lifetime here on earth. The book gives 11 messages that are directly targeted to addressing, and releasing, any sabotaging behaviors or patterns that may exist and keeps us in a state of lack. Angels of Abundance also offers specific suggestions to use as manifesting tools right now, to alter our circumstances. It is for those who want the freedom to leave toxic jobs, relationships, and other situations so they can devote themselves to healing or helping others in whatever way that may be for the individual.
The first and most important message that we are told is to “Ask for Help” The authors tell us that because we have free will the angels will not intervene on our behalf unless we ask! Each message that follows gives specific instruction on what we can do, or release so as to achieve the goals we have set out for ourselves. They write about the power of affirmations, prayer, and meditation. The authors give clear instructions on becoming aware of our thoughts and beliefs so that we can attain the best results possible with our manifesting efforts.
The reader will learn how to use a simple candle in visualization practices, how to clear a crystal and use it as a means of manifestation, how to use meditation and prayer to attune ourselves to a higher vibrational source and receive guidance. The HOW is up to God, it is not up to the ego to figure out how it will come to us, it is merely our task to put our intentions out there and allow the universe to unfold before us.

I enjoyed reading the book; it gives clear straight forward instructions that can be easily implementing right now with very little effort that can have big impact. The book is for all those who are open to receiving this type of divine guidance and also open to asking the angels to assist them. It is practical information for anyone looking to move past their scarcity mind set and start manifesting new results. For those who are committed to making lasting change this book will appeal to you, for all those ready to manifest abundance this will appeal to you, even if you’re a skeptic looking for answers this book will appeal to you. This spiritual manifestation book by "Doreen Virtue" and co-authored by her son "Grant Virtue". Delved into the basic cornerstones with 11 messages or instructions of practical spiritual abundance. As an avid reader of Doreen's books she has a habit to generalize more so and lean too much on anecdotal testimonies. In contrast her son's Grant's writing style has more depth with conveying understandings in a practical peer to peer mentoring.
The book is generous in spiritual upliftment content for the book doesn't stop at the end of the 11th message. The afterword with the 2 segments of testimonials and meditations of the appendix round out the final support from the authors in this text.
I recommend this book highly to the novice and for one moderately enveloped into their abundance relationship with the divine.

A basic manifesting/positive thinking book with Angels thrown in. I'm happy to have read the book, but I'm also happy that I didn't buy it.

Easy, practical guidance for inviting abundance and the support of the angels into your life. I especially love the last meditation at the end of the book.

JUNK.. Loaded with garbage only to sell a book. First lets look at pg 2: "The answer is: God and the angels are one, and there’s no separation between them." Really, GOD and the angles are one in the same. And right below that, "The word angels means “messengers of God" It seems that the authors are confused; are angels messengers or GOD himself. I believe my religious studies stated that the angels were created by GOD.
If we look at another scam, the "Secret", we see that the author now has thrown in "You must also pray because asking for help is required by the Law of Free Will." But hold it they just stated "It doesn’t matter how you ask for Heaven’s help, but only that you do ask for it."
The rest of the book is riddled with disclaimers as to why it doesn't work all a contradiction to the theme of "It doesn’t matter how you ask for Heaven’s help, but only that you do ask for it." Not to mention that the author has added a new group of angels, " Angels of Abundance" and “crystal clear intentions.” As the author then states "...don’t need to worry about the details."
After reading the book it's obvious that the authors are only writing this garbage for the money! Capitalizing on the folks that struggle to get by day to day. If the authors were religious, they would refund everyone's money that bought the book.

I had this as a free ebook, but since I never got around to reading it (as with pretty much all my ebooks) I went ahead and got a hard copy for cheap. However cheap it was, I still regret the purchase price. There is nothing in this book, except for those absolute beginners who have never read anything at all on manifestation or anything by Virtue. It's all just regurgitated information on all the same things she's always written about. The section on exercise is probably the only good thing in it. The rest is typical: think positive, focus, meditate, use affirmations, and practice being grateful, the whole nine. Pass.

Uplifting and renewing!
Learned with better perspective as an earthling about the divine Angeles and the Lord. I gained some great learning materials with a better understanding of how to interact with our spiritual guardians. My life is calmer and simpler since praying often with the Angels.

Wonderful book to learn How to communicate with Angels
I love Angels and during the last years, I have received more messages and gifts from them, so I wanted to learn to communicate with them and value their help and support.
This book shows that and more. I feel that I love them even more than before reading this Book. Thank you Doreen!!

It’s one of my favorite Doreen Virtue book about angels. There’s a lot of valuable lessons on how to seek divine guidance and manifestation. Everything on the book is on point. I recommend it to readers who believe in Angels.

I have been fascinated by whatever else is out there. I read of angels as a kid, just like millions of others and found this so interesting. How can we be here and not be somewhere else?? Very interesting read.

Practical and quick read
This was a great reminder about abundance principles from the viewpoint of angels. In other text it’s the same as your own spirit or the universe. But I believe in angels. The meditation at the end was healing!!

Such a great book with great techniques that work. I good reminder to stay in a positive state of gratitude at all times. Too bad Doreen chose a different path in life as she had a great gift and helped many people in this realm.

I have long believed that living life on purpose is the way to go. After reading countless self-help books, one thing is crystal clear: each individual person has a unique purpose in life that is waiting to be fulfilled.
I have struggled with anything that hasn't felt purposeful. But I have also come to realize that we get to choose to assign purpose and meaning to those things that previously didn't feel super purpose-filled, on the path towards living our dreams.
Doreen & Grant Virtue's book Angels of Abundance: Heaven�'s 11 Messages to Help You Manifest Support, Supply, and Every Form of Abundance is an excellent, practical guide on what it takes to live a life that was previously only imaginable. The thing I admire most about Doreen Virtue is that she doesn't sugarcoat it; she never for one second pretends that it doesn't take hard work and sacrifice to pull it off.
I like the variety of ways that the authors reinforce the significance of our hard work on the path towards our dreams. They state that hard work is a form of asking for what we want, and always incorporate the idea of doing our fair share in co-creating that which we intend.
Angels of Abundance teaches us that we have angels at every turn, waiting to guide us along the path towards living the lives of our dreams. I like the explanation in this book that angels can be thought of as "messengers of God". There are angels, signs, and divine interventions that inevitably lead us to our dreams if we only allow and assist them.
In the book, abundance is defined as "a feeling of safety and security". Abundance is not solely referring to a financial status; it goes much deeper than that. Abundance means feeling that there is not only enough, but more than enough resources assisting us in living our lives in the terms of our own purpose.
Angels of Abundance reminds us that holding intentions towards abundance is not selfish. In fact, the ability to provide for others only increases with increasing abundance.
According to the authors, abundance can be applied to finances, time, ideas, confidence, and any other good thing in life. We are meant to not only live our lives on purpose, but abundantly on purpose. The resources for living an abundant life are not only available to those who seem to have supernaturally made it in Hollywood or professional sports; they are available to any of us who choose to tap into them, work for them, and accept them. The authors go on to reassure us that we already hold all the power and resources we need to fulfill our life's purpose, we just have to allow ourseves to see what is revealed to us.
Doreen Virtue and her son Grant Virtue offer answers to questions such as what if I ask for the wrong thing, how often and for how long do I need to do affirmations, and how do I create affirmations. These are questions that I get lost in from time to time, so this book was a good reminder of the simplicity of focus required for as long as it takes.
The biggest lesson I learned from Angels of Abundance was the concept of "giving up five minutes before the miracle". Jack Canfields's book How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be was my first introduction to this concept. Did you know Colonel Sanders was rejected over 300 times before of KFC came into existence? What if he gave up after 256 rejections? Or ten? Or one?
The numerical value of tries and failures is of no substance. Giving up on a dream that has the support of passion would be the only real failure, as far as I can tell.
The Angels of Abundance aim to see to it that we do not suffer in a state of lack. Rather, that we are provided with the necessary resources to make the world a better place. That simple.
Angels of Abundance is a short, quick read; a great companion for someone looking for a concise summary of how to go about the work of realizing an abundant life, or someone looking for a quick pick-me-up and reminder of what work needs to be done.

Doreen Virtue’s books on the angelic realm have been a great resource for me since I started my journey of connecting with my angels in 2008. I was recently given the opportunity through Hay House Publishing to review Doreen’s newest book Angels of Abundance , which she co-authored with her son Grant Virtue.
As with most of Doreen's books - this one came to me at a time that I needed to be reminded that I'm not alone on my journey – that my angels are there to help and guide me, I just need to call them (and allow myself to receive their response).
When I have reviewed books for Hay House in the past I received a hard cover book. This time it arrived in the form of an e-book. Can you say the angels were signalling that I was in need of many reminders ASAP. As I clicked my way through the pages I was reminded not to give up, to keep working hard towards my dreams and most important to pay attention to the signs that the angels give in response to my requests.
In this book Doreen and Grant provide answers to questions about creating affirmations and how long one needs to do affirmations. Interesting - about a week after reading this book I was asked if I would be interested in conducting a workshop about affirmations. Not only was the workshop's theme perfect - it (workshops) was something that I have been hoping to branch my business in healing into. There really are no coincidences - and if you are reading this review, there is a reason why this book - Angels of Abundance - is being brought to your attention.
This book is an easy read, wonderfully inspiring and informative for anyone who is seeking a quick read on how to manifest an abundant life. And a wonderful reminder for anyone who needs a little nudge from the universe that asking is only part of the manifesting process - action and faith are also required.

This was the first time reading Doreen and Grant Virtue’s books. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! This book was easy to read and jam packed with value! As I sat down to read this book I did so with an open mind. Although I read this book fairly quickly I took time to gather all the information carefully. Some of the ideas were ones that I have heard before and I was resistant to reading those chapters, but I am so happy I did. Doreen and Grant provided me with a new and unique way to look at money, health, and success.
My favorite chapter was Message 5; High Energy = Fast Manifestation. I exercise regularly, and like everyone, there are times I do not feel the motivation to go to the gym! After reading that increasing your energy by exercising will create abundance faster, it gave me one more reason to get my self on that treadmill! More importantly it gives me support in supporting others to do the same!
Sometimes I am going through a problem and I don’t think to ask for help. It might seem like something so easy and I find myself thinking, “I got this” and that it is up to me to “fix” the problem on my own. This book was a wake up call for me that by simply asking my angels, I can have the support from the universe and the added backup from my angels. Who wouldn’t want a team of angels on their side? We all have access to Angels of Abundance, and all there is for us to do is simply ask!
I would recommend this book to anyone on their journey to understanding the metaphysical world and seeking freedom from thinking patterns that keep them “stuck”. This book is easy to understand and full of new ways to look at old problems! Perception is everything and this book will have you looking at things with a new set of eyes!

Also um ehrlich zu sein wusste ich gar nicht das es dazu ein Buch gibt. Ich hatte jetzt echt geglaubt, das es nur eine CD zum hören gibt. Da ich das Buch nicht gelesen habe, habe ich mir vor Jahren mal die CD gekauft und wollte wissen was die Engel zu einem sagen. Die Stimme klingt sehr gut und toll. Anfangs hatte ich irgend wie Probleme damit und habe mich einfach daran gewöhnt.
Das Cover ist strahlend blau und macht Freude darauf es anzuhören. Auf der CD gibt es 11 Botschaften der Engel zum Thema „Fülle“

Angels of Abundance is one of the many self-help books that will have a different meaning and learning experience for you, depending on your where you are in your spiritual journey. For a beginner to metaphysical thinking this book provides comfort and insight in the basic principles of manifestation. For the more spiritual inclined, the premise of some messages, such as that healthy eating is a way to insure faster manifestation time is slightly flawed, specifically when in a placed in a book that does not go deeper (and has no space for) spiritual alignment through nourishment.
If you are looking for an in-depth book about abundance work, you will not find the answer in this volume. If you are looking for an in-depth book on working with Angels, you are also not going to find it in this one.
This book brings the individual practices that one can use to improve ones life, and puts them together as presented by Angels. There is nothing new to find here, even if the packaging is different.
Angels of Abundance has its merit for those who are new to the self-help and co-creation thought processes. It opens the opportunity for further research. But packaging the same messages as if told by Angels, can also create the confusion to the new reader, that Angels are the origin of this message, rather then accumulation of different truths and teachings, and the combination of multiple spiritual principles that have endured many hundreds of years, and come from many religious paths.

Angels of Abundance is a really great feel good book, and one that I'm sure I will read a few times in my life, when I need to get back onto the motivational manifestation path. This is a great book for reminders when getting back to basics, or for a beginner's read.
I enjoyed the messages that Doreen and Grant gave, as well as the gentle reminders of the simpler steps in manifesting abundance - like remembering to ask for help! You wouldn't believe how often this simple tip is forgotten. We always think we are alone and have to carry our loads by ourselves, but we don't...
All the tips and messages are easy to relate to, follow, and implement into your life. Whether you have 5 minutes to spend a day or an hour, these tips are great. You can read this book beginning to end in one sitting ,or a chapter at a time from week to week.

Doreen & Grant Virtue do an excellent job of explaining the process of manifesting - using visualization, affirmations, prayer, and conversations with the Angels. I think this book is for anyone who has felt like they are overcomplicating the practice of manifesting abundance. It was the perfect "reset" for me. I especially liked the advice that it's okay to ask for "this, or something better" - sometimes we limit our own wishes! It's also terrific for those who are just getting started with manifesting, and are trying to sort through all the "steps."

Now, having said that ... this book contains excellent, easy-to-follow, and practical advice for abundance in a variety of areas, not just finance. Doreen and Grant Virtue outline methods for focusing on and achieving goals in a variety of areas, and they do so in a friendly and conversational way.
I enjoyed reading this book, and am grateful to have received it.

INteresting book by Doreen Virtue and her son (?) about one point that I always tend to neglect - abundance! The Authors show one interesting and useful perspective: how, very often, we boycott ourselves in terms of unconsciously believing we do not deserve better or fearing that life will never get better. If for nothing else, this clarification would already make it worth reading.

I found the concepts a bit on the basic side but this is a good thing for me as I tend to get weighed down with the specific details all too often. I'm excited to try the various manifestation exercises and meditations. This was really a quick read if one has the time to dedicate to it. Recommend for anyone looking to expand their beliefs in Universal and/or Divine energy.
