We find Krypt and Mary still hiding out and Krypt really struggling with Mr. Neither and his insertion into the relationship with Mary. Krypt is used to Mr. Neither because they each have separate roles and Neither has never been part of Krypts appetites. Krypt is disturbed that Neither seems to like living Mary and Krypt himself is adapting to her warmth. Krypt decides to see if he can find out something about Mary’s parents that he figures have been taken by his mob family. This book is filled with the feelings Krypt is developing that are so different from anything he has known before. I love this series, especially how Mary loves Krypt even though he is so very not normal. He is everything to her. No one writes a broken love story like Lucian Bane.

It seems that this will not be the last we hear from Krypt and Mary as there is more to come. Krypt only had 24 hours to hide his newly contracted wife and her parents. With 22 you left the clock is ticking. I'm hoping with this ticking clock changes come for Krypt's sanity to find him willing and able to adjust to a new change.
