Mourn the dead. Bury the guilty. Take the fucking crown.

Opening the Legacy Inc vault was supposed to solve all of their problems, but the hit list is still live, StormLink is down, and Mason just declared war on the Syndicate.

To stay alive, Kat must work in the shadows to find Mike Barnes--the last known programmer to work on StormLink. But her enemies have other ideas, baiting her out of hiding by capturing Shay from her West Indies compound and snatching her sister—who is still on the brink of death.

Kat races against her enemies, her ghosts, and her own self-doubt to lead and save the people she loves. But reclaiming her title as Senior Assassin has become more than a personal vendetta—it’s now a fight for survival. This is the third installment in the Assassin's Legacy Series, a dark and gritty saga for fans of John Wick and The Godfather. Screaming, crying, throwing up. This book had me feeling a multitude of emotions. The depth of each character, the sophistication with which the author unfolds the story and the witty banter had me kicking my feet with laughter and dying for more.

As the third installment in the series we finally learn the answers to some much anticipated questions. Who is Storm? Who is Kat’s father?! Are Aeron and Ivan endgame or will she wreck him? Does someone finally put a fucking bullet in Rufus?

Aeron is still hanging on by a thread and I’m really not sure how the hell she isn’t dead yet but thank god because I could not handle that again. Kat is so close to the crown and we see just how capable she is at controlling the men around her throughout this book. Not only do we hear from Kat and Aeron as their nightmare continues to unfold, but we also get inside Izz. And as you’ll learn, she really doesn’t mind. Izz acts like nothing can shake her but we learn just how damaged her past has made her and how every move she makes is a desperate attempt to keep her chosen family together.

If you love fast paced, action packed stories with lovers to enemies, found family, feminine rage and sarcastic, edgy characters that you literally want to fuck or kill then buckle up and clear your schedule because you will not want to put this down.

Strong Follow up

The assassin storm takes off exactly where the assassins and left off with the fresh loss of friends and loved ones with a need to act to continue their request immediately and the fear of doing the insane and succeeding, and the fear of doing the insane and failing, not sure which is better or worse. As with Libby Weber other book, no character is safe. Our new friends in our family may not say a lie very long if they don’t choose the right path constantly, but sometimes the wrong one helps out a little bit too. This was a great book I couldn’t put it down
