Dani Harper is a 26-year-old American stuck in a boring bank job in Lexington, South Carolina and in an equally dull relationship. Her only real means of escape is when she acts with her drama group. An unexpected call from a Los Angeles agent offers a way out of her rut and she stuns her family and boyfriend by grabbing it with both hands. With just her dog, Samson, Dani heads to LA.

Great feel good easy read. Could definitely see this as a romantic comedy on the big screen with a Reese Witherspoon lead.
