No one can outrun a bullet... Illegal hunting tourism is a favorite past-time among poachers in the wilderness of Alaska, and Ella Porter is assigned to help the Marshal service track a poacher who's running one such operation. Still reeling after the events of the last book, Ella is grateful for the distraction, but the case turns into something far more sinister, when they hear whispers of missing girls in the Alaskan wilderness. A secretive poaching operation advertises "the most dangerous game," as their main attraction. Women are being set loose in the Alaskan wilderness and then hunted by seasoned hunters. It isn't long before Ella and Brenner are targeted by this clandestine group, and she'll have to outwit man and beast to survive the harsh climate, escape the clutches of the poachers, and discover the shadowy figure behind it all.
Having worked on projects with New York Times Bestsellers and USA Today bestsellers, Georgia Wagner recently hit #1 bestseller with her newest series. Location and character are two big factors for Georgia, and getting those right allows the story to flow seamlessly onto the page. And flow it does, because Georgia is so prolific a new term is required to describe the rate at which nerve-tingling stories find their way into print.
When not found attached to a laptop, Georgia likes spending time in local arboretums, among the trees and ponds. An avid cultivator of orchids, begonias, and all things floral, Georgia also has a strong penchant for art, paintings, and sculptures. A many-decades-long passion for mystery novels and years of chess tournament experience makes Georgia the perfect person to pen the Artemis Blythe series. That's where it all started, but the drive to craft thrilling mystery tales soon demanded new characters in new locations.
Wow! I was gripped from the beginning of this thrilling story. Ella Porter has been transferred , assigned to help the Marshal service tracked down illegal poachers. After everything that’s happened, she welcomes the distraction but when her and Brenner hear whispers of missing women , the hunt takes a sinister turn…An underground poaching ring that advertises a dangerous game as their main attraction as women are set loose to survive or be killed into the Alaskan wilderness. When Brenner and herself become prime targets , she must outwit the figure in the shadows while keeping them from harm. Suspenseful , alarming , thriller that gives chills and thrills throughout this entertaining book. Immersive, powerful, well written narratives with dialogue that is so on point and realistic . The characters have depth and are engaging. I was forwarded this book and I’m leaving my review voluntarily and in my own words
Another close one, some crazy people who are into hunting the wrong way. I actually thought Ella's sister had something to do with this, trying to blame Ella for her dad's death. Some really creepy hunters, and what they thought was entertainment, dumb. Some part of edme was thinking that Mortimer was in on it. Now let's just started on that Wedding.

This was one of the best series of books I have ever read. It was difficult to put down. Excellent writing kept me engaged and turning pages as fast as I could. Thank you Georgia Wagner!!! I am going to read all your books and look forward to the next series!!!
What a great Ella Porter story. Crazy hunters are poaching, but not necessarily animals, and it's a wild ride until Ellan and Brenner can find the man in charge. It's a very good book that was hard to put down.
Georgia Wagner has done it again. Continuing action and twists. I thoroughly enjoy following Ella Porter and Brenner on their quests to catch the bad guy. But this ending....oh my!
An exciting book where the action never stops. I have really enjoyed this series. Ella is a bright FBI agent who knows how to get things done. This book has family conflict, mystery, action, romance, and near death action. You don't want to miss out.
A good way to keep the sisters from each other's throats. A bit of a stand-alone. I'm sure we haven't heard the last of the Architect or Priscilla's wrath.
