My problem is not with Mary Magdalene or her writings, my problem is with the author. With a handful of repeated paragraphs, spelling errors, and grammar errors including calling Mary “Jesus’s husband”, I was let down.
I thought this book was going to only be about Mary Magdalene and who she was. What she taught. How she played a roll in the early versions of Christianity. This book was that… at first.
Then the author spent a good portion of the book giving his opinion on certain things and certain teachers. I suppose I only wanted a history book.
I felt bored for the last half of the book and discouraged as I came to the end.
I liked learning about who Mary Magdalene was but I did not enjoy the rest. Sorry :/
