"George" is really sweet, funny, and at the same time, emotional. Such an interesting premise that had me entertained while wondering where this was all leading. This story has a lot of heart with a positive message and puts the simple things in life into perspective. Bryant's writing is crisp, clear and the dialog is well done and easy to follow. I found this to be an enjoyable read all the way through.
“Looking at the unique trio, adorned with the ‘I Love George’ t-shirts, caps, and buttons, and seeing their needy expressions, George willingly decided that they could stay. “Uh… I guess so. And though I still don’t really ‘get’ what’s going on here,” he then paused in thought, followed by a large smile, “having some moral support from my wonderful fans might just be a good thing!”
This book is a wonderful book that keeps you guessing right up until the end. You will root for George and the whole cast of characters that cheer him on and are in his corner. George is an everyday man who could be anyone. He could be you or me or the guy next door. Tim has done a wonderful job in weaving this tale and telling it in a way that anyone would enjoy reading. Thank you Tim!
