I may be in the minority, but I think Haruichi Furudate has created dynamic enough characters that I would be perfectly happy to read the kind of "sit in someone's room and talk about not volleyball" chapters he mentions wanting to write.

I love this little character arc for Ryu. It really helps develop him beyond the loud, comedic relief. He has layers!

Fukunaga is such a weirdo. I can't believe I've never paid attention to him before. And Kenma! What a cutie. I love Nekoma so much. They have so many good characters/players on their team.

There's so much to unpack in this volume! First Ryu's moment of doubt then Kenma's little backstory with Yamamoto and now it ends with the stupid Miya twins picking on Nishinoya?? Anyway Karsuno better beat some twin butt so they can meet Nekoma on the court!!!

I don't know how Furudate does it, but he can make your heart feel it's breaking for one character only for you to be filled with absolute glee at another character's actions. ;P

Okay, I feel I should apologize to Tanaka, because technically I don't think Furudate "broke" him, but I NEVER want to see Tanaka depressed like that! That is probably the closest thing to BREAKING him and it was HARD! But man, he is all the more inspiring for his attitude of continuing to tell everyone good job and still calling for the ball. Tanaka is the man!!!

I enjoyed the match with Nekoma very much! That was absolutely great seeing the team's backstory and Tora and Kenma are HILARIOUS! Kenma may not think it, but he definitely has "guts skill"!

It's really interesting to see his motivations and how far he's come. I definitely agree with the announcer person that he is definitely one of the trickiest setters in this tournament and is SUPER smart!

As always, Hinata is helping spur people on even from afar. <3 <3 <3

Considerato che venerdì 16/2/2018, è uscito il capitolo 290 con la conclusione (finalmente!) del match tra Karasuno e Inarizaki e considerato che è iniziato circa undici mesi fa, una rilettura di tutto il Spring High National Tournament, era dovuta ^^

La partita tra Karasuno e Inarizaki prosegue e non senza difficoltà. Ad essere preso di mira questa volta è Tanaka. Questa situazione diventa l'occasione per approfondire il suo personaggio e vedere come è nata la sua determinazione e passione per la pallavolo. Ma i corvi vengono lasciati da parte per un attimo per vedere cosa sta succedendo ai gatti. Il Nekoma è alle prese con il Sakurawa Kogyo la cui strategia è quella di stancare il setter Kenma. Riuscirà nel suo intento? Mi sono piaciuti molto i flashback di questo volume: innanzitutto Tanaka che non abbiamo mai visto al primo anno e conosciamo poco della sua psicologia più profonda pur essendo un personaggio che compare già nei primi capitoli della serie! Forse era davvero arrivato il momento di approfondirlo. Ma sopratutto ho adorato la parte dedicata al nostro caro Kenma! Davvero è così menefreghista e poco competitivo come sembra? E come si è evoluto il suo rapporto con gli altri compagni di squadra, oltre a Kuroo? Ho molto apprezzato questa sua indagine e anche tutta la partita del Nekoma è davvero avvincente e bella. Insomma un volume davvero stupendo che appassiona fino all'ultima pagina dove vediamo che il prossimo obbiettivo dell'Inarizaki e dei gemelli Miya è il libero Noya! Ma cosa succederà ci è dato sapere solo nel prossimo volume...

Qui vediamo due partite: il Karasuno lotta con tutte le proprie forze per aggiudicarsi il secondo set. La battaglia è serrata, una questione di un punto di differenza.
Tanaka sembra non essere in grande forma, tanto che Atsumu lo prende di mira pensando di farlo crollare. Peccato che non ha ancora capito che ha a che fare con la persona più testarda e meno soggetta a queste intimidazioni... e alla fine Tanaka si prende la sua rivincita.

Abbiamo poi la possibilità di vedere la partita del Nekoma, il cui avversario ha deciso di far crollare Kenma costringedolo a correre da una parte all'altra del campo.
Come sappiamo lui è il tipo ragazzo "mai uno sforzo", quindi teoricamente la tattica è anche buona. Anche qui, però, l'avversario non ha tenuto conto delle sue capacità da stratega e della sua tenacia (non chiamiamola forza di volontà, per carità!).
Per fortuna il Nekoma riesce a vincere e passare il turno... sperando di incontrare i corvi.

Nel frattempo il secondo set del Karasuno è cominciato e la situazione pare seria: l'Inarizaki ha un vantaggio di molti punti e Atsumu ha preso di mira Nishinoya.

Moments que j'ai aimé / qui m'ont fait rire :
- J'avoue Kageyama est grave stylé quand il récupère le ballon à l'autre bout du terrain.
- Tanaka chouchou, quand tsukki lui donne pas la balle ça m'a fait trop de peine.
- Suga me termine de rire, c'est une vraie pile !
- Tanaka et Shimizu sont trop drôles !
- Bokuto et Akaashi qui apparaissent, trop chou !
- Le passage de Nekoma avec Yaku, Kuroo, Kenma et Kai, mes bébés les 4 là.
- Fukunaga je l'aime d'amour, il m'a fait trop rire quand il a balancé le seau d'eau sur Kenmaet Yamamoto.
- J'aime tellemtn Nekoma.

Tanaka and Kenma may not be on my top favorites list, but I absolutely hate it when they're getting picked on.

But, buti na lang malakas tong dalawang manok ko.
