ANNABELLE JACOBS is content with her boyfriend of a year JORDAN FINCH. But Jordan’s best-friend BEAU RICHARDS doesn’t make Annabelle feel comfortable—he makes her feel like living. One drunken night things get out of hand leaving Annabelle and Beau with a fire in desperate need of extinguishing.
But sometimes the direst of problems need more than a fire extinguisher to stop the burn. The class trip to Spain was supposed to be fun. But fun takes the week off when their plane crashes over the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Spain. Only a few of the passengers survive.
With loved ones gone, Beau and Annabelle cling tight to one another to survive the hot days and freezing nights. But the guilt of their feelings keep one another from the path they truly want to take.
I've had this idea in my notebook for a while now. And when I realized I had a small amount of time before my next book was due to my publisher, I figured I would take the chance to write it!
And I'm so glad I did! :)))
Annabelle and Beau's story is one of my favorites so far. It touches my heart dearly! I can't wait for everyone to be able to read it!
Good idea. Horribly written. Felt like a very young person wrote it. The narrative was better written than the dialogue, which was stilted at best. I couldn't care for Bella at all until the end, but then it was the end and there wasn't enough of them being together. The editing is really bad too. Don't know how anybody can fish with a sphere. Beau sleeping with other girls killed it for me. Bella may not have been one of my favorite characters, but he was supposed to be madly in love with her. Cheaters do not a likeable character make.
I don't know why but I feel like something was missing... maybe longer time on the mountain? Or maybe because I read after Shay SavageSurviving Raine so I ended up comparing them? However these stories aren't alike!! Well except for the fact of being stranded in the middle of nowhere and surviving.
Annabelle is dating Jordan but she kisses BEAU (Jordan's bestfriend)! She chooses not to tell Jordan which doesn't really matter because he ends up ! The crash was awful and a lot of the passengers died; only a few survived (including BEAU & BELLE). They have to work with another in order to survive ... the only issue is that they have undeniable chemistry, would it be so wrong too fall in love and pursue these feelings?
It's official - I am running away with Beau Richards and never coming back!!
I was gifted Wrecked by the author (Alla Kar - You ROCK!) for an honest review.
And I can honestly say I loved this book - bearing in mind I only received it today and I'm all ready finished!!
Wrecked starts out all about the love triangle between Annabelle (Bella), her boyfriend Jordan and his best friend Beau! After a make out session that almost goes to far the Bella doesn't know how to Jordan and can't make up her mind what to do about Beau - So she does what every girl has done at some point in their life - Ignores the lot and goes to Spain. Only so do all her Spanish class along with Jordan, Beau and her best friend Emily.
Only things don't get that far and their plane crashes leading to a whole heap of grief, turmoil and heartbreak.
I don't like to give too much away in my reviews - but I love the way this has been written from both sides of the story! And I will hold my hands up and admit that I did get a little bit weepy at more than a few parts!! once you have read it you soon understand too.
Bella struggles with life after Jordan and the feelings that she still has for Beau. Beau struggles with the fact that no matter what he does - he is always going to love Bella no matter how much she ignores him and her feelings.
I would love to know how Bella and Beau got in the year between part two and three - but maybe that's just cause I greedy!! And if I ever find my Beau I hope I realise it before its too late!!
LOVED IT!!!
XOXO

I literally just finished reading this book and had to get the review posted right away. This is such an unbelievably great book. I loved Beau and I loved Annabelle. What a truly difficult situation they wound up in. They were in love with each other all along. Beau graciously stepped aside for his best friend. We don't really get a chance to know Jordan in the book. But he was a good guy. Bella's heart just didn't beat for him like it did Beau's. And then after the plane crashed -- well then what? The guilt they carried around for surviving -- how could they possibly acknowledge their feelings for one another after THAT? It would be hard for me to find something about this book to criticize, so I'm not going to even bother trying. It was well written. Well paced. I loved the back and forth chapters from Bella and Beau's POV. The only minor issue I had with the book was Beau becoming a bit of a jerk/man-ho. I get the reasons, I just don't have to agree with them. :) Still, all in all, a very solid 5 shining hearts from me!
What do you do when you're in love with your boyfriends best friend? Do you break it off with your boyfriend? Or do you push those feelings aside? Now what happens when your boyfriend dies and you never made your choice. That is the predicament Annabelle Jacobs is in.
I really loved this story and what I loved most was the chemistry between Annabelle and Beau. Annabelle's reservations were understandable due to the circumstances, and I couldn't wait for her to finally come to terms with her guilt so she could finally be with Beau. If she didn't want him I would have been happy to take him from her. He was totally swoonworthy and I wanted to crawl into the book and hug him. Though, he did have his moments where I also wanted to slap him, but those things kept the story interesting. It also proved that he wasn't perfect. He was human.
The ending left me completely satisfied and was probably my favorite part. If you're looking for a fast, chemistry filled book this is it.
This is my first Alla Kar read, and most definitely won't be my last! This NA read centers around two characters who have suffered through one of the most horrific tragedies one can imagine: their plane goes down. I'm not a happy flyer myself, so the scene where the aircraft went down was especially intense for me, lol! I felt the aftermath of the crash was well-written and believable, and the angst and longing the two main characters suffered, heartbreaking.
Let's talk about the characters. I fell in love with Beau right away. I love me a strong, self-assured "Bad Boy", and Beau fit the bill perfectly. I melted every time he referred to Bella as "Dove", and I loved how alpha and protective he was when it came to her. Definite book boyfriend material, peeps! And did you all see his likeness on the cover? DAYUM!
My heart ached for poor Bella, who spent the majority of the story battling her feelings. Haunted by a heaping case of guilt, she's plagued with nightmares, and walks around in a perpetual state of numbness, refusing to accept the love Beau openly tries to give her.
I felt Beau and Bella's story arch was well-done, and it was tied up nice and neat at the end with a HEA that left me satisfied. The supporting characters rounded out the story nicely. I'm a big fan of Taborie. I felt he added some much needed wisdom and support with the way he related to both the main characters.
If you're a fan of NA and enjoy a good romance with angst and suspense, then this book is for you. Good stuff!
I got an ARC from alla!!! Thank you somuch to trusting my review for this story
So anyway here's my review I read this in like one day because i can't put it down and i'm too clingy to know the ending How's the process Like every alla's story, short, simple, nice, and beautiful story There's drama there but not the harsh one, meaning that is not the point that alla wanna share to us. She just wanna show us how beau and bella went through this together and how finally they could be at the end No comment for beau. If only i could know more about him instead his shy behavior. It's lamentably that he just too late for everything I always had a thought what if the airplane didn't crash, what if jordan ended up forever with bella? I bet beau will always be beside them until he thought that he needs woman in his life not for love because his love just for bella, but to complete his goal in life. Ouch. Hurts. But it's true. Beau's love for bella just too innocent and beautiful as the way it is. I thought they're going to adopt kat lol I'm happy for taborine :3 Wish i could read lil bit moment when bella said she's pregnant to beau hahaha
I have no clue how authors choose the covers for their books, but this does not go with this book. This book was way different in the way the story went. I mean it's a plane crash, never read a book where that's been involved. The rest of the story was interesting. I enjoyed the characters. I feel like the beginning of the book was put together just right. The end however, kind of sped up and just happened way too fast. The beginning was very detailed, but the end was rushed. I feel like the end should have maybe been more detailed than the beginning. Overall, I enjoyed this book.
This author surprises me with every book I fall in love !!! When tragedy hits and ur left to survive guilt can eat you alive !!! Bella and beau fight their feelings due to guilt and it was amazing to go through their journey and for them to realize love is worth fighting for !!! Awesome job Alla Kar
Great story I love any story that has to do with an accident and survival. I wish the story was more about them on island. I really liked all the characters in this book especially Beau, he was a sweetheart. Overall great read and worth your time to read.
Wrecked was a beautiful story. I felt Beau and Bella's chemistry from the get-go and it never faltered. This book made me teary at times and most definitely played with my emotions. I loved it!
Two boys meet a girl but the wrong one asked her out first. Then one night the right one kissed her and she didn't know what to do. How do you break up with the great guy for his best friend? Now they are all on a trip to Spain. The plan goes down and not everyone survives. Not sure how much time passes before they are finally rescued but it is 6 months before they see each other again. He is doing everything to contact her and she is doing everything to avoid him. This is what I didn't like about this book. Beau professes his love for Bella and they both try to get pass the guilt that they feel, and yet Beau is sleeping with any and every girl he can. Don't go professing you love me, and then sleeping around. It's one way she shouldn't give him a chance. When she does finally give in and sleep with him he had just slept with someone else the night before. Clean sheets?????
What do you do when you realize too late that the one you love is not the one you're with? If your Belle, you feel so much guilt it leaves you wrecked. Belle is with Jordan, but one drunk night with his best friend Beau is making her question everything. A trip with her classmates to Spain is just what Belle needs to get her head together...that is until she learns Beau will be on the trip as well. Encouraged to be honest by her best friend, Belle knows she has to be honest with Jordan about her feelings and she thinks this trip will give her the opportunity. But a plane crash on the way to Spain changes everything and now Belle is forced to live with her guilt. Alone on a mountain with Beau, Belle has to decide if she can forgive herself and open her heart or if all the loss is just too much.
This was a fast paced story with just the right amount of angst and heartbreak. There is obviously cheating in this one, you know that if you read the synopsis, but the way the story unfolds explains everything. Beau and Belle are both well rounded characters dealing with a lot of issues. The story progresses in a realistic way with the situations that arise.
My thoughts:
POV switches between Belle and Beau Quick hook or slow starter? 4 (fast paced with a quick hook) Character development: 4 Level of Romance between characters: 4 Passion/Heat level: 4 (chemistry between these two is very obvious but there is a lot of guilt so it takes awhile for them to work things out. Sex scenes are hot once you get to them.) Angst/Heartbreak: 4 (cheating and a plane crash...need I say more?) Cliffhanger?: No, there is the assumption of a HEA in the end.
Overall, I liked it. It was an enjoyable read with a good pace and solid characters. I will definitely read more from this author in the future.
A forbidden love story? Sign me up! That is exactly what “Wrecked” was; forbidden because Beau was her boyfriend’s best friend and the feelings Belle felt were intense. An “almost” night together left Belle avoiding Beau at all costs but when their plane crashes and they are two out of the four survivors, feelings come to the surface.
Beau was so hot and adorable, if I can describe someone a character as hot and adorable at the same time. His top priority was to survive and protect Belle while deserted with two other survivors. Everything that he did, he did for her; building shelter, gathering food, protecting them from the wild creatures around. He was amazing and his want for Belle was amazing as well.
However, I found myself not really like Belle at all. I hated that she didn’t just ‘woman’ up and talk to Beau about what happened. I hated that all she did was cry about her feelings and what was happening to her. I hated how she kept running away and making Beau (poor, sweet Beau) upset. Belle had this amazing man ready to love her and she kept pushing him away, so not cool.
When it finally turned out how I wanted it to, that is when the book ended. ~BookWhisperer Reviewer MC~

Powerful. Emotional. Captivating. Fear. Love. Just one reason. Amazing book. I don't need to review the plot...just the effect it will while you read this. This book is emotional and captivating. These two people fight their feelings and you feel their loss, grief, and fear. It hurts them to have to find comfort in each other after the wreck. After they are rescued the darkness and betrayal eat at them. Once Annabelle and Beau finally start forgiving themselves, the sparks and chemistry is back full force with nothing to hold back. They find comfort in each other. Healing, loving, saving, comforting, and being...just happens. There is no denying the hot, steamy, sexy, lust, seductive, love, and need they share. This book packs a punch with raw emotions and I LOVE IT!! You have to have some serious strength and talent to write this and not cry the whole time. I was a blubbering idiot. That's what makes this a 5 star + because you are in touch with the authors feelings and emotions. My favorite Alla Kar so far!! Amazing. Outstanding. :)
This was a good read. I liked most of it, except for one thing...he became a man whore. I get the whole woe-is-me, etc, but why do the guys in these new adult books go on a sex binge when they don't immediately get the girl. Maybe it's because I'm a woman, but I don't understand how the dude can separate physical intimacy from his "I'm in love" attitude. Guys are just as able to control that aspect in their life as women are. If you're in love, you wait. You don't go screwing around.
I wasn't sure what to rate this book! The beginning had me very engaged but as the book went on some of the enthrall I felt dissipated. The character development was really vivid in the beginning but toward the end it seemed to fizzle. I wanted so very much to continue to love this book but I just couldn't.
I will definitely read Alla Kar's novels again. She is really worth a second look!
This book was good and kinda sad.. The charters are going on a school trip but the plane ends going down. Mostly everyone dies on the plane including Emma bff and Beau's bff who is Emma boyfriend.. This is a book of survivors and letting go but also finding yourself when everything you fell that there is no end..
The storyline and concept was really good. The editing was BAD. So much so that I had to read several parts over and over trying to figure out what was meant to be said. Even hone characters name changed from Ashely to Amy which really through me for a loop. Again, if you can get to the actual story it was good.
