We all need some kind of escape from life, a way to get away from all the problems we face on a daily basis and find some form of happiness or breathing space, even if for only a brief moment. Poetry is one of those unique, never-ending places where we can learn to breathe and put some kind of order into our thoughts. It's where we can go to relax, or let out the anger, or cry, or smile, or dream. This book isn't designed to be professional. It isn't full to the brim of professionally written poetry focusing solely on techniques and forms. The words within were written to reach the reader, bond with them, relate to them and make them feel something.
